Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Essence

I was sent Aromatherapy Associates  Support Breathe Essence* a few weeks ago (10ml - £16.50).  I've been using it in times of stress and to relax.

An anti-bacterial inhalation essence to help reduce stuffiness, congestion, ease breathing, relief for colds, for use in planes to protect from germs, to relax and de-stress.

With essential oils of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, pine and Tea Tree.

To use: sprinkle a few drops on a tissue and breath in deeply.

Catherine Turner, a Health & Beauty journalist who does a really interesting column for Psychologies magazine (I always see products I want to try!) suggests rubbing a few drops in the palms and inhaling to relax.

It can also be used as a home fragrance oil in an Aromatherapy Associates electric burner.

Have you used this before?  Do you use any products to relax and de-stress?

  1. I think scent is a really powerful tool to unwind, I use essential oil blends, scented candles and bath and shower products scented with essential oils. They all have a powerful effect on my mood. I must try Aromatherapy associates, I can't believe I haven't yet. x

  3. I picked up the Support Breathe bath & shower oil in their January sale. It definitely helps clear your chest, nose & sinuses if you have a cold.
I also picked up their Light Relax & Evening Revive bath & shower oils and I love both. You can dab them directly on pressure points too to help you unwind at night. Their Enrich Serum is also delightful, as is their Renewing Rose body oil & body cream. Haven't come across an AA product I've not loved!! I believe it was you that started my love of their stuff, through your blog! ;)

  5. If I'm really stressed, I find Bach's Rescue Remedy works a treat. A drop or two under the tongue does it. Otherwise, frankincense is a wonderfully relaxing essential oil for the burner. It helps to quiet the mind and aid focus.
