Naturisimo: Starter Kits: Moisturisers Starter Kit

Naturisimo have brought out a clever range of Starter Kits. Of course, I had to pick one, didn't I! The one which spoke to me the most was their Moisturisers Starter Kit (£20). They give you a QR code to get 10% off a full size from the collection which is a nice extra. I'm pretty impressed with it all round - the products come in a cute drawstring branded bag (perfect to use for other bits/reusable cotton pads/weekends away etc).

So what's inside:

For Thirsty Skin: Antipodes Baptiste H2O Ultra Hydrating Water Gel (5ml x 3 sachets). I'm a huge fan of this moisturiser. See my review HERE (I'll be popping the sachet samples in my travel bag, although I'm not sure when my next trip will be!)

For Tired, Sensitive Skin: Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream 5ml the cult classic which has stood the test of time. This beautiful rose scented cream protects and replenishes and is lovely to use.

For Unbalanced Skin: Neal's Yard Remedies Palmarosa Moisturiser 15g from a brand I know and love. This is a product I've not tried before. My skin is combo and it'll balance, minimising the appearance of pores and mattifying the skin. Oh yes, I'm looking forward to trying this 'un!

For Mature Skin: Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturiser 15ml which comes in a pot where the cream is dispensed via a hole in the middle - no fingers in the pot! Again, looking forward to trying this one, it feels lovely on the skin.

It's a great set in my opinion, what are your thoughts?

Naturisimo - Conscious Beauty Discovery Box

As you know, I can never resist a Naturisimo Discovery box! The latest one (still available, at time of writing) is Conscious Beauty Discovery Box and nestled inside are 5 items which are worth £92! Pick up the box for £18.95.

WOW, what a nice selection! And so, for a closer look..

I'm loving discovering more from French Absolution in these discovery boxes. Inside is their La Cure Peau Calme Anti-Redness Treatment (15 x 1ml) which is worth a whopping £47! They'll soothe redness, sensitivities, tightness and irritation immediately. My cheeks are sometimes a bit red and tight, so I'm looking forward to testing these out - expect a review soon.

From Rahua is a handy travel size of their Shower Gel 22ml which is the ideal try me size or for holidays. It's scented with lavender, eucalyptus and vanilla. I'm looking forward to trying it as it smells lush.

From Nourish is their Argan Anti-Aging Peptide Serum 15ml (£16) which is a great try me. I haven't actually reviewed this one before, although it's been in my stash! Looking forward to re-visiting.

Jane Iredale's Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain in Forever Pink 1.3g is an old favourite and I'm delighted to have a new one. It works with your skin's chemistry and mood so it can be any shade of pale pink to deep red!

Rounding up the collection is Juice Beauty's Illuminating Primer - Luminous 15ml (worth £19) which adds radiance to the complexion blurring lines and wrinkles. I've tried this once so far and it's fab!

A great box, what are your thoughts?

Latest in Beauty: Beauty Headliners Edit

I signed back up to Latest in Beauty last month (on the 3 months for £24 plan (3 products) which saves £3 if you subscribe month on month. See my picks from June HERE). This month the Haul of Fame product is OSKIA's award winning Renaissance Cleansing Gel (35ml - worth £15). It comes boxed making it an ideal treat or for gifting. See my review HERE.

I first tried Noble Isle's Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel as a beauty box pick (many moons ago). I've since bought it several times full size as it's an absolute delight. See my review HERE. Inside is 75ml (£5), which is the ideal try-me or travel size.

My final pick is Juice Beauty's Blemish Cleansing Gel (60ml) which is a lot bigger than I was expecting. I've not tried a lot from this brand so I'm looking forward to testing it out!

The extras this month are codes for 25% off TanCream and 15% off your first order with OSKIA.

Of course, when I spotted Earth Kind's amazing Tea Tree & Eucalyptus Shampoo Bar 50g (£6.95) was a pick I had to select a second box this month! See my review HERE.

What have you picked this month?

Naturisimo: Vegan Discovery Box

You'll know how I love Naturisimo's Discovery boxes so couldn't resist their latest one - Vegan Discovery Box (worth £50) and costing £17.95 including p&p.

It's absolutely jam packed!

And for a closer look..

Inside is 11 travel and sample sizes:

From Pacifica, a brand I've been liking quite a lot recently is 29ml of their Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter which smells glorious, almost mouthwatering. I'm looking forward to trying this.

From old favourite Bamford (used to get this a lot in Latest in Beauty boxes) is 100ml of their Geranium, Lavender & Peppermint Body Lotion.

New to me from A'kin is Hydrating Mist Toner 30ml which is a great travel size, I'll be packing this for my next trip.

I'm a huge fan of Briogeo Hair Care and am looking forward to trying Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask 29ml.

From Juice Beauty we have a trial size (5ml) of their Stem Cellular CC Cream in Desert Glow. It's a broad spectrum SPF30 sunscreen which melts onto the skin and has a delicious citrus scent. Desert Glow is for fair-medium skin tones.

I've loved all the meow meow tweet products I've tried so far and this Coconut Cacao Vegan Lip Balm 7g has an almost edible scent and feels really nourishing on the lips (you can also use it on hands and body).

From Green People we have a 10ml size of their Vita Min Fix 24hr Cream which I'm sure I've used before and my skin loved.

From COOLA there is a SPF30 unscented Matte Tinted Moisturiser in Natural Beige 5ml which I'll pack in my holiday bag also.

There's a 5g pot of natural deo balm from the Natural Deodorant Co in Lemon Geranium which smells lush. Looking forward to testing this out.

From Nourish there's a 5ml sachet of their Probiotic Multi-Mineral Repair Mask with Damask Rose & Lavender which is a perfect pamper treat.

The final item is a sachet (0.17oz) of GLOW Inner Beauty Powder from The Beauty Chef which can be blended into water or a smoothie.

It's a great box. Did you pick one up?

The Nature of Beauty by Imelda Burke

I pre-ordered a copy of Imelda's (founder of the amazing little Marylebone green beauty shop Content Beauty & Wellbeing). Pre-orders came with a lovely sample pack.

I've only had a flip through the book so far but I'll review it in a monthly book post. I do love a signed copy also.. and if you are in London you must go and visit the shop.

pic taken September 2014

A great sample pack! I was very excited to see a pot of May Lindstrom's The Blue Cocoon (I've been wanting to try it like forever!) and Aurelia Probiotic Skincare's newish Botanical Cream Deodorant.

The rest are great picks too however:

RMS The Ultimate Make Up Remover Wipe (these are fab)
Weleda Calendula Nappy Cream (will pass to a pal)
Yoni Tampon (made from organic cotton)
Vapour Stratus Soft Focus Skin Perfecting Primer (excited to try)
Dr Alkaitis Organic Ageless Facial Elixir (not tried much from this brand before and this is a new product)
Dafna's Beyond Skin Deep Moisture (I'm currently testing a couple of products from Dafna's gorgeous range)
Weleda Skin Food (love this)
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Booster Serum (looking forward to trying as not tried much from this brand - keen to try their make up soon!)
Skin & Tonic Calm Balm (huge fan of this brand and the product)

And yet more goodies:

John Masters Organics Rose & Apricot Hair Milk (I love this - see my review HERE) and their 100% Argan Oil (which is a new try).

The final item was a cute little notebook and pencil.

Did you pick up a book with the very generous free sample set?

July Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up this month so here's my July empties:

Skin & Tonic Steam Clean 50g - this is an absolute staple for me and one of my favourite products ever. I love it's minty scent and how easily it melts away impurities and daily grime. Have just opened a new one.

Supernatural Beauty Redemption Face Oil 10ml - just love this rose scented oil. See my review HERE. Will buy full size when my stash reduces a bit.

Schmidt's Cedarwood + Juniper Natural Deodorant 75g* - I love this deodorant in the Bergamot + Lime scent best so wouldn't pick this one up again. See my review HERE.

beatitude Luxury Cleansing Bar 100g* - which was gentle enough to use on the face as well as the body. Really enjoyed using this and would buy.

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts 500g - I'm never without these sleep inducing salts. They just work. Will be buying more for sure.

Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil 2ml - a free sample with purchase which I enjoyed using. Would consider buying full size.

Kiss the Moon Glow After Dark Face Oil 3ml - loved this beautiful facial oil and have since purchased another. Beautiful.

Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Bath & Shower Oil 3ml - one of my favourite scents. Sure to buy again.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Nightly Brightening Pads x 1 sample - as this was only one sample pad it was hard to see if the product would be effective or suited my skin.

Paul Mitchell Original Shampoo One sachet -  I used to use this shampoo all the time. Got two uses out of the sachet. Would consider buying full size.

de Mamiel Winter Facial Oil - last year I bought all the seasons which was a real treat. My favourite seasons were Spring and Summer (my real two favourites). This oil was lovely. See my review HERE. I'm tempted to get the seasonal oils next year.

Madara Micellar Water 100ml - my favourite Micellar Water. See my review HERE. I've already opened a new bottle.

Nourish Radiance Firming Facial Oil 15ml* - I simply loved this and when my stash reduces a bit I'll definitely buy. See my review HERE.

What have you been using up this month?

A'Kin 24 hour Intensive Moisture Leave in Conditioner

I mentioned in my spending ban update that I'd been tempted by A'Kin Leave in Conditioner after I spotted it on Evelyn's blog We were raised by wolves.  It arrived yesterday.  I'd also picked up a couple of samples - John Masters Reconstructing Shampoo and Conditioner (both 10ml and 50p each).  I love these products - they make my hair look so healthy and in great condition - I normally get 2 uses each sachet.

My second "bought" sample was Tata Harper Stress Treatment Sample - this is tiny at 0.5ml (and hugely expensive at £2.50) but gorgeous! Full size of 5ml (!) retails at £64 - I'm guessing this will be one of the ones on my forever wishlist!

I also got another sample (free!) thrown in - 1ml Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Eye Treatment.

My order came to £11.90 with free P&P.  I'll do a review once I've tried the conditioner out for a couple of weeks or so.

Do you ever buy any products from Naturisimo?

Green People Moisturising Shower Bath Wash 200ml

This is another one I found in the Natural Health Beauty Awards 2012 supplement - it received a Highly Commended Award.

Green People Moisturising Shower Bath Wash 200ml with neroli, mandarin and marshmallow - it smells amazing really fruity.  I bought mine from Naturisimo for £9.86 with free postage (and 4 Juice Beauty free sachet samples).

The gel is really thick so you only need a tiny bit to get a really good lather.  Can  be used on body and face (avoiding eye area) which makes it great for going to the gym/holidays.  Leaves skin soft and delicately scented.  Free from SLS, parabens, colourants and synthetic fragrances.  The packaging is recyclable.  Do you use any Green People products?
