*Mint Green: The Natural Switch Starter Pack

I was very kindly sent Mint Green's brand new The Natural Switch Starter Pack* to review. Having loved their February Starter Kit which I reviewed HERE, I was delighted to try and review their latest kit. The Natural Switch Starter Pack costs just £20 and is worth over £100 making it a must-have. It comes in a brown reusable cardboard box and compostable mailer bag.

Inside is:

Goldfaden MD Vital Boost; Even Skintone Daily Moisturiser 15ml (Vegan, Natural, Recylable) which gives the skin a hydration hit and is suitable for all skin types. A full review will come for this one! 

Doers of London Body Wash 15ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) I was introduced to this brand in last month's box. A gentle wash which is nice to use.

Grown Alchemists Hydra-Gel Hand Sanitiser 50ml (Vegan, Natural, Organic, Recyclable) I'm always happy to try a new hand sanitiser and always have one in my bag when out and about. This one will kill germs and hydrate. Again, a review will follow.

Odacite Ba+S Eye Contour Booster 2ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) A brand I love and a product I've not tried from the range. I'm testing this out right now and a little goes a long way. It helps to smooth out lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Tangent GC Hand Soap +Hand Cream sachets 2 x 5ml (Vegan, Natural, Organic, Recyclable) This is a new to me brand. I'm looking forward to trying them out. 

Q+A Liquorice Lip Oil 15ml (Natural, Vegan, Recyclable) This has been on my wishlist so I'm happy to be able to try it now. It'll plump and nourish the lips. Again, a review will follow.

Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm 4ml (Natural) I've used this multi-use balm a few times - great for dry and cracked skin, lips and nipples. 

Evolve Organic Beauty Hyaluronic Serum 200 10ml (Vegan, Natural, Organic, Recyclable) Again, I've used this serum before and my skin loved it. (I reviewed it way back in 2015! See my review HERE). Great to have it back in my stash.

Rounding up the starter pack is a bar of Nuddy Totally CocoNUTS Soap Bar 100g (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) This soap is enriched with shea butter, smells of coconuts and has a rich foamy lather.

Mint Green February Starter Kit

I came across Mint Green on Instagram and went to explore the site which stocks green beauty brands such as Anatome, French Girl Organics, Grown Alchemist, Lena Wild and Plenaire, to name a few. You'll find Vegan, Organic, Natural & Recyclable brands nestling on the online shelves which have been hand picked by the founders. The box your order is packaged in is easily recycled or reusable and the mailing bag is made from corn starch which is compostible (and you'll also get 10% off your first order).

I picked the February Starter Kit, which is worth over £70 and costs £14.99 plus p&p. Inside are nine brands with five that are new to me.

And for a closer look..

BeYou Monthly Patches x 5 (£7.99) (Vegan, Natural, Organic, Recyclable) - this is a new to me brand and the patches can be used instead of a hot water bottle to relieve everyday pains such as period pains and other niggling pains on the body. They're 100% natural and are made from fast acting steam distilled eucalyptus and peppermint derived menthol oils which create a unique cooling tingle and provide up to 12 hours of relief. Looking forward to testing them out!

EcoLiving The Environmental Toothbrush (£2.90) (Vegan) - the whole toothbrush is plant based - bristle, handle and box!

Bondi Wash Fruit & Vege Wash 50ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - this is not something I'd use but it's an interesting concept! It'll remove bacteria, chemicals, waxes and pesticides from fruit and vegetables.

Doers of London is a new to me brand and inside is their "It starts at the Top" Shampoo 50ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - this has a creamy texture and will balance and clean the hair. Looking forward to trying it.

Another new to me brand (although I've heard of it) is L:A Bruket Hand & Body Wash Sage/Rosemary/Lavender 60ml (Vegan) which has an intense herbal aroma. It'll leave the skin clean and hydrated.

There are 3 sachets from Goldfaden MD Doctors Scrub 5ml, Bright Eyes 3ml (used this before and loved) and Vital Boost 5ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - a polish, a moisturiser and an eye cream which help to enliven and brighten. 

Also inside is a Pamper Kit from UpCircle (I've used their Facial Serum 1.5ml before and my skin loved it), the others in the kit are new to me - Cleansing Face Balm 3ml, Face Moisturiser 3ml and Face Toner 3ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable). The Pamper kit is designed as a try-me.

Rounding up the kit is Dr Lipp CBD Calm Balm 4ml (Natural) which can be used on dry patches. It contains 50MG of broad spectrum CBD which calms and soothes.

The final item in the set is full size! Inside is Q+A Peptide Serum 30ml (£9) (Vegan, Natural) which regenerates and helps to keep your skin looking youthful. I'm looking forward to trying this out!

bodhi & birch Jasmine Falls Relaxing Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - as you'll know I'm a huge bodhi & birch fan. See my review of this here.

Yes to Carrots Gentle Cleansing Wipes 10 wipes - I do sometimes use facial wipes (especially after a night out or on holiday). I recently tried the Yes to Blueberries wipes so looking forward to trying these ones out.

Green People Soft Buff Skin Exfoliator (review coming up on this shortly), Gentle Cleanse & Make up Remover (review) and two sachets of Purify & Hydrate Cream Cleanser & Line Eraser Lip & Eye.

Inika Organic Eyeliner in Black Caviar - a glide on and highly pigmented eyeliner with handy sharpner in the lid.

Dr Lipp Original Lip Balm mini - tried this a few times and handy size to pop in your handbag.

YOU Beauty Advent Calendar - Days 15-21

On Day 15 I got BioEffect EGF Serum 2.5ml - I've tried this several times but have a friend who I know loves it so I'll save it for her.

Day 16 saw me get Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Eye Rescue Rollerball 15ml - I'm a huge Dr Organic fan but not tried anything from this range.  Looking forward to trying it. Full review will follow.

On Day 17, I got DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 30ml - I've used a few things from this brand before and I loved this oil so happy to use it again.

Day 18 saw me receive Dr Lipp Lip Balm in a huge 15ml size - I've used this before and enjoyed using it.

On Day 19 I received Model Co Black Mascara 8ml - I've not used anything from this brand before but love mascara.

Day 20 saw me get Q Fine Fragrance Body Spray 100ml - a brand I've not heard of before.  It smells quite nice.

Today, Day 21 I got Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist 30ml - looking forward to trying this as have loved all the other Alterna products I've used.

Latest in Beauty: Editor's Faves Box

When I found out Latest in Beauty had brought out a new box, Editor's Faves I knew I wouldn't be able to resist especially when I found out it contained Neom Hand Cream! I simply love this hand cream - it is the best I've ever used! I normally pick it up in Complete Bliss scent (Moroccan Blush Rose, lime and black pepper).  See my review here.

Onto the contents -

Neom Organic Hand Cream - Inspiration (Violet, Chamomile & Cedarwood) 50ml - this size is worth £15.  Not tried this scent before but love the hand cream.

Ancienne Ambiance Goddess Argan Hand & Body Wash 50ml - I'm a huge fan of this brand having used their bath salts and soaps before.  See my reviews here and here.  The hand & body wash is enriched with Argan oil and scented with the subtle fragrance of Goddess oil along with vanilla, coconut oil, vanilla and paprika.  Looking forward to trying it.

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil 10ml - already a huge Balance Me fan happy to have a travel size of this beautifully scented and nourishing face oil.

Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips 3ml - received this recently in my Cult Beauty GWP.  Can be used as a lip balm, on dry skin patches, cuticles, on nipples during breast feeding and baby's bottoms!  Love a multi-purpose product so happy to try this.

ESPA Super Active Lift and Firm Intensive Eye Serum 3ml & Lift and Firm Moisturiser 7ml - have tried these before in the Advent Calendar.  I found the moisturiser too scented so will pass this onto a friend.  I like the eye serum though.

Yardley Polaire 1ml vial - not a huge Yardley fan and this smells a bit too powdery for my liking.

All in all a great box and such great value.  Did you get the box?  What are your thoughts on the product selection?
