Magnitone Pulsar - Final Thoughts

I've now been using the Magnitone Pulsar* for a full seven days now.  You can see my previous two posts here and here.

I think this is a great all round device for use on both the face and body. The brush heads are easy to change quickly in the shower, the instructions are simple and easy to follow.  It takes only 1 minute twice a day to deep cleanse your face and 2-3 minutes twice a day to exfoliate the body.

I found the Magnitone Pulsar* deeply cleansed the skin and removed impurities. I was expecting to break out (chin/forehead/nose) but found that using the device actually helped to clear up these problem areas.

Both the skin on my body and face feel softer, smoother and clearer although I don't see a huge difference on my thighs and hips (although I do plan to keep using the device on these areas). I did find my arms feel softer and smoother. Pores on my nose are visibly smaller and I've found fine lines look less visible. I also found I needed to use less moisturiser - both facial and body.

Magnitone Pulsar - Update

I'm going into day 4 of using the Magnitone Pulsar* and I thought I'd share my thoughts so far.  You can see my initial post here.

I've been using both the Active Clean brush (for the face) and the Body Cleanse brush.  You can also use it to help with razor rash and waxing irritations although I've not tried this out.

Face: I was a bit wary that this would be too harsh for my skin (I currently use the FOREO LUNA). I've used the Sensitive mode (top button of the four) and I have found it pleasant to use and at day four I've had no breakouts which I was expecting. I've found my skin to be smoother and clearer looking with pores reduced and a radiant glow.  

Body: I must admit I'm really enjoying using the Body Cleanse brush. I'm not a fan of body brushing - although I know the benefits are huge. I've been using the Exfoliate mode and have found my skin to be softer. I'm going to keep using this brush beyond the 7 day period - so I'll be doing periodical updates.

Magnitone Pulsar

The Magnitone Pulsar can be used on both the face and body making it a great multi-purpose product.  The brush head provides over 15,000 rotational oscillations per minute which ensures deep cleansing and exfoliation. The device is waterproof so can be used in the shower.

There are four daily cleansing modes - 

Sensitive: this is great for sensitive skin. It is gentle on the skin but still gives a deep clean.

PulseLift Massage: cleanses as it stimulates the skin to improve blood circulation. Great for areas which are beginning to show signs of ageing.

Exfoliate: use this mode for the body. It removes dead skin cells leaving the skin silky smooth.

Deep Clean: helps soften, tighten and purify the skin. Also helps diminish the appearance of pores and wrinkles.

To use on Face: rinse skin with warm water, wet the brush head and either apply the cleanser to your face or the brush. Glide over the forehead in gentle circular motions (20 seconds) moving onto the cheeks, ear to lip and then the neck and under the ears (20 seconds). Finally, move the brush around your nose, chin and around the mouth. Rinse and pat dry.

To use on the Body (arms, legs, knees and elbows): rinse skin and brush head and apply your body wash.  Set the Magnitone Pulsar to exfoliate mode. In circular motions exfoliate the upper and lower leg, the upper arm and forearm before moving onto knees and elbows. Rinse, dry and moisturise as normal.
