Myroo Mini Travel Size Skincare Set - Fragranced

I'm an absolute sucker for minis and this exquisite little set (£8) by Myroo is just beautiful. It's the ideal small gift (or stocking filler), try me size or to pack away for a night or two away.

The little set is available in Fragranced or Un-Fragranced and packaged in a cute branded box.

The sizes are teeny tiny (but perfect try me sizes). Inside is:

1.5ml Starflower and Orange Blossom Facial Cleanser
1.5ml Starflower and Orange Blossom Skin Boost Facial Serum
4ml Raspberry and Cucumber Superfood Balm
4ml Geranium Intensive Hand Treat

I tried the cleanser and serum way back in 2012 (review) but I'm looking forward to trying them again.

The other two are new to me products:

Geranium Intensive Hand Treat smells beautiful and deeply nourishes the hands and nails while Raspberry and Cucumber Superfood Balm can be used on any skin area. Use it on chapped skin, dry cuticles, knees, elbows, heels, as an overnight treatment for tired skin or massage.

Pick yours up HERE.

Myroo Mint Tea Bath Fizz & Mint Tea Body Scrub

I'm a huge fan of Myroo Starflower & Orange Blossom Cleanser (see my review here).  Rachael offered to send me Mint Tea Bath Fizz* & Mint Tea Body Scrub* to try and review.

Mint Tea Bath Fizz* (200g - £10) - this smells absolutely gorgeous - really minty!  Add a scoopful to a warm bath and watch it gently fizz.  The salts soften the water, relax and moisturise the body.

Contains Organic Shea Butter to moisturise, Epsom Salts to detoxify and sooth aching muscles and Peppermint & Tea Tree to refresh and uplift.  Makes for a relaxing bath.

Mint Tea Body Scrub* (200g - £12) - with Sea Salt, Organic Shea Butter and Peppermint & Tea Tree Essential Oils this minty and slightly oily scrub sloughs away dead skin cells leaving the skin deliciously soft.  Use in the shower or tub. Great to use in the morning to awaken the skin and the senses. With the same minty scent as the Bath Fizz.

April Empties

Here are my April Empties -

Murad Body Firming Cream 100ml - this came in February's Beautylishious Box.  Lovely to use with an orange scent.  Didn't really notice any firming action though.  Probably won't buy as it is an expensive product to buy full size.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 30ml - simply adore this bath oil.  Sure to pick it up again...soon.

The London Oil Company Morning Glory Body Oil 100ml - a really beautiful body oil.  I liked using it in the morning to wake my skin up.  See my review here. I've just ordered another bottle.

Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Eye Treatment 5ml - quite enjoyed using this but didn't really notice any difference around the eye area.  Wouldn't buy.

Korres Fig Little Shower Gel 50ml - love the Mango & Guava shower gels.  Didn't like this one quite so much so probably wouldn't buy again (having just read the back of the bottles these shower gels contain SLS which is a surprise for a "natural" brand).

Sisleya Global Anti-Age Cream 5ml - my final one from my stash.  Adore this cream but would never buy it full size as its so expensive.  Gorgeous though.

L'Occitane A L'Eau Florale D'Immortelle Essential Water 200ml - a really nice toner would perhaps buy again but like my cleansers got a few to use up.

Taaj Ayurveda Creme Mains Delhicates Hand Cream 30ml - was quite a nice hand cream but I don't think I'd buy as there are others I prefer.

Essential Care Gentle Herb Conditioner 30ml - this is the first Essential Care product I didn't like! Eeek!  There is no lather so I ended up using more to compensate.  I didn't even finish the tube as I just didn't get on with it.

Botanicals Deep Peace Body Oil* - this was gorgeous and I'll definitely pick up full size at some point.  With lavender, rose geranium, orange and sandalwood.

Myroo Natural Skincare

Myroo is an independent natural skincare company owned by Rachael Dunseath, based in Harrogate.  Rachael hand makes the luxurious body and skincare items which are free from parabens, SLS and palm oil.  The products contain essential oils, plant oils and butters.  All packaging is recyclable (as well as looking pretty on the bathroom shelf).

I ordered the Starflower and Orange Blossom Cleanser & Cloth (£14 - 26g) and Rachael very kindly upgraded my order so I could try the Starflower and Orange Blossom Skin Boost Facial Serum (normally £15  - 12g).

Both products smell amazing!  I have been using the cleansing oil at night before bed and I have found it to be very effective at removing stubborn eye make up and daily grime.  With an uplifting (and gorgeous!) scent.  I have been enjoying making this part of my cleansing routine.  A real pampering "spa" type product.  It also comes with a good sized muslin cloth.

To use - apply to dry skin (3-4 pumps) and gently massage to remove all make up.  Remove with rinsed out muslin cloth.  Leaves skin radiant and clean.  Splash the face with cold water and pat dry.  Follow with the Skin Boost Facial Serum.

The serum has the same scent as the cleanser making this a really lovely duo to use.  Light and easily absorbed, helps reduce fine lines and makes skin soft and nourished.

To use - up to twice a day or when your skin needs some extra care.  Apply a few drops at bedtime or under your daily moisturiser.  Both products are suitable for all skin types.

There are also some lovely body products in the range.  Ones I'm fancying trying next are - Bath Fizz - Mint TeaJasmine and Frangipani Bath and Body Oil and Lemon Body Butter.

Have you tried any items from Myroo?
