I recently did a post on the gorgeous a beautiful world Christmas Beauty Boxes - see here.

I got an amazing surprise when a beautiful world sent me a gorgeous Marble & Milkweed Relax & Unwind box*.  It's simply gorgeous!

This is such a lovely set. The salts make for a relaxing bath and the body oil super moisturises the skin leaving it delicately scented.

The salts relax and detoxify. They contain Himalayan pink salt crystals, organic coconut and sesame oils and are scented with organic cardamon and rose otto essential oils.  Sprinkle some salts into a running bath and relax.

The Nourishing Body Oil is simply divine! With organic oils of sesame, jojoba, rosehip seed oil and coconut. Scented with wild Australian sandalwood, organic rose otto and cardamon with Vitamin E. You can also add a few drops of this to your bath.

October Empties

This has been a really quick month. I've hardly used up much. Here are my empties -

GLOW Skincare Rose & Macadamia Face Cream - sample pot - this came from my Souk Souk box. Seemed a nice cream but quite a small pot so hard to tell if it really suited my skin or not.

Naturally Nourished Exotic Body Balm 20g - simply love this exotic scented balm. Have since purchased full size.  See my review here.

Marie Veronique Organics Mist* - simply loved this! See my review here. Will definitely think about placing a MVO order in the New Year.

Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Hand & Nail Cream 100ml - simply love this super moisturising coconut scented hand cream. I've already bought another. I love all the Dr Organic hand creams.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 10ml - my favourite bath oil. Sure to buy it again. Already been dropping hints to hubby for Christmas.  I reviewed it here.

Naturally Nourished Rose Body Mousse 20g - I bought this at the same time as the Exotic Body Balm but I just didn't like it as much. I would have liked if it had been stronger scented.  Wouldn't buy again.

Botanicals Rose & Camellia Body Lotion 5g - simply gorgeous. One I'm adding it to my ever expanding wishlist.

Botanicals Lavender Balm 5g - this was nice to use too. If I bought it I'd maybe try a different scent. Nicely nourishing and easy to apply.

Marlenha Hyaluronic Acid & Collagen Beads Moisturising Face Cream 50ml* - this was really nice to use.  See my review here. I'd consider purchasing when I've depleted my stash.

REDKEN Color Extend Shampoo 50ml - this was nice enough to use (I've got a couple of other minis to use) but I doubt I'd buy it again as I found it quite drying.

Raw Gaia Organic Coconut Body Butter 15ml - simply gorgeous! Full size is on my to buy list..and soon.

Marble & Milkweed Nourishing Body Oil 3.7ml - this came in the a beautiful world A/W '13 Sampler box. Simply loved it. Full size is on my wishlist.

Sephora Cotton Flowers single use Shower Gel - this was just the right amount for one shower. A friend picked a few up for me on holiday recently. Quite nice but I found the scent a little bit artificial.

this works really rich firming lotion 50ml - this had a glorious jasmine and fig scent. Was a rich lotion but didn't notice any firming action. Probably wouldn't buy - this was a magazine freebie.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand & Nail Cream 15ml - simply love this nourishing honey scented hand cream. Have since picked up a full size.

Aromatherapy Associates Relax Deep Bath & Shower Oil 3ml - one of my favourite Aromatherapy Associates scents.  Sure to use again.

a beautiful world - A/W '13 Sampler Box

I was super excited to receive my a beautiful world A/W '13 Sampler Box yesterday.  The box went "live" at 6am on Wednesday and I was one of the first to buy.  Simply amazing customer service - the box arrived the very next day! And what a box!

Costing an amazing £20 including P&P the sampler box is stuffed full of gorgeous full sizes and samples - I kept finding them hidden inside the crinkly paper packaging.

Here's the contents:

001 GLA & Anti-Oxidant Balancing Cream - this is a totally new UK boutique skincare brand that hasn't even launched at a beautiful world yet! It gives your skin an instant burst of moisture, it feels light on the skin and contains natural actives, replenishing oils, Omegas 3, 6 and 9 and Vitamin E. It smells lovely too. It contains essential oils along with Rosa Damascena extract and Vanilla Planifolia fruit extract. One of my favourite items in the box.  

Yarok Feed your Ends Leave in Conditioner (2oz) - I'm a huge fan of Yarok's Feed your Youth Hair & Scalp Serum - see my review here so I can't wait to try this leave in conditioner and heat protection spray.  Perfect for me as I use hair straightners every day!

Marble & Milkweed Nourishing Body Oil (3.7ml) - this comes in a tiny little bottle which has a piece of ribbon at the top. I've been tempted to buy this for a while. Scented with Rose, Cardamon and Sandalwood oils. I tried it last night and it is quite simply one of the nicest body oils I've ever used. It moisturises the skin and the scent is just lovely - rosy and spicy notes with a distinct smell of Cardamon - I'm buying this full size.

Marble & Milkweed Modern Chai Tea No.2 - a single use sachet. I simply love this chai tea.  See my review here.

SW Basics Cocoa Lip Balm (4.5g - full size) - one of my favourite lip balms. I reviewed it when the company was called Sprout - see here. Super moisturising it smells nice and leaves lips glossy and smooth.  Contains Organic Cocoa Butter, Beeswax and Organic Coconut Oil.

SW Basics Shea Butter Cream - this comes in a cute little screw top jar and is made of only 3 ingredients - Fair Trade Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Olive Oil. It instantly melts on contact with warm skin and is ideal for dry areas. You can even use it on your face as a night cream.

Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil - one of the best facial oils I've ever used.  See my review here.

VMV Hypoallergenics Know-it-Oil 50ml - 100% Organic Virgin Coconut Oil use all over the body and great for taming flyaway hair or as a deep conditioning treatment. You can eat it too!

butter London Tea & Toast Nail Varnish - (full size) - the perfect nude shade.

Konjac Sponge Puff with added French Pink Clay (full size) - I received a natural version in my September Souk Souk box which I haven't tried yet. Pleased to have a different variety to try.

Naisture Collagen Mask Pack (single use) - super moisturising mask. Have tried before and loved it.

Tili Bag - reusable, resealable bag which is perfect for storing make up, skincare, bits and bobs - anything really.

a beautiful world - Marble & Milkweed Modern Chai Tea No.2

I recently placed an order with a beautiful world of Indie Lee Blemish Lotion (review coming soon) and Marble & Milkweed Modern Chai tea No.2.

This wonderful tea is just perfect to warm yourself up during this cold winter like weather we are having just now.  This delicious tea is exclusive to a beautiful world in the UK.

Marble & Milkweed products (face, body, fragrance & teas) are made by hand with love in New York City.

The chai mix smells spicy and aromatic and contains fair trade assam black tea, cardamon, ceylon cinnamon, fair trade cacao, ginger and saffron.

To make: simmer half cup water and half cup milk of choice (I used skimmed) then add 1tbsp chai. Simmer for 5 minutes then strain into your cup and sweeten to taste.

Delicious! The tea retails at £9 for 2oz. Would make a great and thoughtful gift for any tea lover.
