Time for Me: AA Skincare, Lucidlure, Beatitude & Dr Hauschka

Sometimes it's good to take some time out and relax with a few favourite treats.  I've been enjoying a pampering face mask with AA Skincare's delicious Vanilla & Honey Skin Polishing Face Mask (£7.98 for 100ml)* which as well as being excellent value for money is very effective. This clay based mask nourishes and exfoliates the skin leaving it brightened, smooth and glowy - it's a keeper!

I received the Dr Hauschka Regenerating Hand Cream 15ml via the Jan de Vries Goody Bag* which featured in my June Loves. This hand cream is fantastic and a proper review of it will be on the blog soon!

Lucidlure Allava Conditioning Hair Treatment

I received Lucidlure's Allava Conditioning Hair Treatment (trial size) in my June Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box and I can honestly say it's fantastic! 

The range is handcrafted in small batches and formulated with natural, unrefined organic ingredients including plant based food grade cold pressed oils, steam distilled essential oils and unrefined butters.  Packaging is recyclable or reusable and is pleasing to the eye - simple and stylish.

There are no parabens, petrochemicals, SLS, mineral oil, synthetics, artificial colours, fragrances or dyes used.

Allava Conditioning Hair Treatment is a rich blend of nourishing organic oils and organic unrefined shea butter - it's got a rich natural buttery scent and is suitable for all hair types.

To use: massage into roots and draw out through the lengths making sure the ends are saturated. Leave on for 2 hours or overnight. Before washing wrap your hair in a hot damp towel for 10-15 minutes which will help the oils pentrate deeply into the scalp and hair shaft.  Wash hair thoroughly before finishing with conditioner. You can also apply a small amount after blow drying to nourish and smoothe flyaways.

I simply love this exquisite hair mask - it leaves my hair silky smooth and shiny (and I've found I need to wash my hair less often after using it - which is always a bonus!) Pick yours up HERE.

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box - June - Hydrate

After collaborating with Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box last month for Beauty Balm Curates... see my review HERE (as you'll know I was over the moon and then some to be asked) but I was excited as ever to see what the next month would hold..

June's theme is Hydrate and inside the box are 6 items (and four new to me brands). This is what beauty boxes should be about!

Totally new to me brand is Bowe Organics Lash Oil (£19.99 - 10ml) which helps to promote healthy and hydrated lashes. I love the stylish packaging and I'm looking forward to testing it out. It's also a Free From Skincare Awards Shortlisted Product 2018. As ever, a review will follow.

I'm currently testing and trying Sofia Latif Face Oil (£20 - 10ml) which is truly exquisite (Sofia used to be a blogger who has now formulated and created her own product and brand which is truly awe inspiring). The blend gorgeous and scented with uplifting jasmine and repairing Bulgarian rose. A full review is forthcoming. The Face Oil also is a Free From Skincare Awards Shortlisted Product 2018.

From new-to-me brand Bespoke Aroma we have their Refreshing Peppermint Facial Mist (£4.25 - 30ml) and Peppermint & Lemongrass Pulse Point Oil (£4.25 - 10ml) which I'm looking forward to trying.

And another new to me brand is Cosy Cottage Soap Company. Inside is their Mango Butter & Lemon Foot Balm which is suitable for Vegans (£5 - 30ml) which deeply nourishes the feet and legs. It has a slightly grainy texture which melts on contact with warm skin leaving it lemon scented.

The final item this month is from Lucidlure, Allava Hair Mask (£5.50 - 30g), a brand which has been on my to try list after Ana, at Ana Goes Green mentioned it to me. It sounds a really intensive treat for the hair and perfect for summer holidays. Again, a full review will follow.
