*Love Lula Beauty Box: November 2021

*I receive the Love Lula Beauty Box complimentary each month as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review. This month the box is worth £55! Subscribe HERE.

WOW! The first things to jump out at me was D'Alchemy's Intense Skin Repair Oil 5ml which is worth £18.40!! This has a rich texture and a rosy scent. My skin loves it. Proper review to come. I also have totally fallen head-over-heels for the gorgeous Soul Tree Lipstick in Wild Honey 4g (£15.99) which is a beautiful make up and skincare product giving the lips a pop of nourishing colour in a very wearable shade which is perfect for autumn and winter.

I've tried Organic Works's Cleansing Face Wash 300ml (£15) before and it's absolutely fantastic. I love the rebranded packaging too. See my review HERE and the joy keeps on coming, also inside is a 12.5ml size of Madara's SCRUB Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub (£6) which I'm looking forward to trying.

Rounding up the box this month is two samples from Ayumi's Turmeric & Papaya range (my fav). I received their Body Scrub & Body Lotion. These are both 10ml and retail at 50p each.

*Love Lula Beauty Box: September 2021

My September Love Lula Beauty Box arrived on Saturday. This month is absolutely fantastic! I receive the monthly box free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review (subscribers also get a very generous 20% off the brands in the box). The first item to jump out at me was a very wearable Cacao Lip Colour from Ere Perez  in shade "Sway", a pink/mauve nude which is absolutely gorgeous! This is a full size product (3.5g - £21). It adds the perfect pop of moisturising colour to the lips. It's total love!

It was also great to see a brand new product from Glossworks - their luscious and zesty Cuticle Balm (15g - £12). It'll nourish the driest of cuticles (and nails). Another win! A review will follow.

So nice too to see a Madara product back in the box! Inside is a 20ml of their Time Miracle Total Renewal Night Cream Travel size (£18) which is rich and nutritious - perfect for nourishing autumnal skin! It'll rejuvenate and replenish the skin while you sleep.

Rounding up this fab box is Ayumi's Sandalwood Face Cream (100ml - £6.99) which absorbs instantly. It's got an aromatic spicy aroma and feels slightly soothing as well as moisturising on the skin. I'm looking forward to testing it out!

Madara Organic Skincare: SOS Hydra Intense Rose Jelly

As soon as I saw Madara's new SOS Hydra Intense Rose Jelly 75ml (£29.95) arrive at Love Lula I snapped it up! And as I'd spent over £20 I received a free gift with purchase of RE:GENE Lifting Mask in a deluxe 12.5ml size. You can see the free gifts with purchase available HERE.

Rose Jelly is perfect for summertime as it's oil free and is formulated with organic rose water, which gives the moisturiser a delicious light rose scent. The jelly textured moisturiser sinks quickly into dry skin leaving the skin feeling deeply hydrated. It's suitable for dry, stressed, dehydrated and problem prone skin.

The organic certified moisturiser is formulated with hyaluronic acid, skin-identical moisturisers and bio-fermented sugars. Probiotic lactobacillus lysate rebalances the skin's microbiome and reinforces it's protective barrier helping stressed skins.

To use: apply to clean skin AM and PM. Follow with a moisturiser if necessary.

I've found the jelly lovely to use and tend to use it in the morning. My skin in summer is drier so I've found this to be a miracle cure! Pick yours up HERE.

Love Lula: Beauty Box: October 2018

It's always an exciting day when my Love Lula Beauty Box* arrives. This month it's worth £54.

I'm absolutely obsessed with charcoal in beauty products at the moment (so good for my shiny t-zone) and inside is a luxury trial size 12.5ml of Madara's new Charcoal & Mud Repair Mask which will purify, remove impurities and pollution build up. I'm looking forward to trying this! Also from Madara is a trio of 2ml sample sachets - Anti-Pollution CC Cream SPF15 in Light Beige and Medium Beige and Age Defying Sunscreen SPF30 - again I'm looking forward to trying these.

From Lyonsleaf is a 30ml pot of their fab Beauty Balm (REVIEW) it'll be nice to revisit. Also included is one of their 100% Cotton Muslin Cloths.

The final item is a full size Body & Massage Oil from Kathleen Natural, 100ml of their Tranquil Fields Body & Massage Oil which is scented with Lavender, Frankincense, and Vanilla. Edit: this is glorious. I tried it last night and am totally in love!

I'm excited to try everything and will have reviews up shortly. What are your thoughts on this month's beauty box?

Love Lula: Madara Picks

This month I was desperate to try the much raved about Madara Herbal Deodorant* (£12- 50ml) and of course I wanted to try two of the new Madara products - Madara Infusion Vert Intense Antioxidant Body Oil* (wow that's a bit of a mouthful!) (£27 - 200ml) and Madara Infusion Vert Intense Repairing Multi-Layer Hand Cream* (£11 - 75ml).

So what do I think?

I enjoyed using the Herbal Deodorant and liked its fresh scent but I feel it's more an everyday deodorant as I used it before a morning's work at the allotment and found it just not effective enough. It is however quick drying and non-staining and pleasant to use but there are others I prefer.

The new Infusion Vert range is fabulous. The scent is lemony with a herbal edge. The Firming Antioxidant Body Oil absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling moisturised and soft. It firms, tones and helps with elasticity and is perfect to use when pregnant and for weight loss. Lemon balm rejuvenates while Thyme comforts.  To use: apply a small amount to the skin after your bath or shower.

The hand cream is fairly thick and you need to apply a bit of pressure to get it out of the tube but it's so worth it. It deeply nourishes the hands and nails leaving them feeling comfortable, sweetly scented and moisturised. To use: apply as often as needed throughout the day.

Have you used any of these products? What's your favourite Madara product?

Madara Organic Skincare: Top Picks

I'm a huge fan of Madara Organic Skincare and would like to share some thoughts on some new (and old favourites) with you.

From Love Lula:

Active AHA Brightening Peel Mask (60ml - £20)* which came in the April Beauty Box is fantastic. It removes dead skin cells leaving the skin radiant and renewed. It contains a super dose of nature's active fruit acids - Vitamin C from quince with hydrating lactic acid and soothing elderflower. It's especially good if your skin is dull, tired, ageing and lacking glow. It's not suitable for really sensitive skin types.

To use: apply to clean skin, leave on 3-10 minutes before removing.

Travel Size SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask (12.5ml - £15)* which came in the November Beauty Box. It is suitable for all skin types. My skin's been loving it over the winter months. The mask can be removed or left on for a deeply nourishing hit of hydration.

The mask contains moisturising natural sugars, Northern peony, hyaluronic acid, linseed and nettle. It has a gorgeous floral powdery scent and is great for an instant pick-me-up.

To use: up to twice a week when the skin is feeling dry and thirsty. Apply to the skin leaving on for 15-20 minutes before wiping off or leaving on.

Total Renew Night Cream (20ml - £20)* came in December's Love Lula Beauty Box. This easily absorbing cream contains rejuvenating Northern Birch juice and softens, hydrates and recharges the skin. It works overnight to rebuild dermal collagen and elastin fibres smoothing and rejuvenating.

To use: apply to skin after cleansing in the evening.

I've gone through several bottles of Madara's Micellar Water and it's one of my staples. I also receive it in February's Love Lula Beauty Box.

The Time Miracle Cellular Nutrients Toning Mist** is fantastic. See my review HERE.

The Time Miracle Cellular Repair Serum 15ml** came in a Naturisimo Discovery Box and is perfect to use before the night cream.  It smoothes out lines and wrinkles and repairs the skin while you sleep. It's suitable for all skin types especially mature.

To use: apply to clean skin AM and PM before following with a moisturiser.
