*Live in the Light: Pure Anada Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner Bars

*sent to me free of charge for review purposes. The brand new Shampoo & Conditioner Bars by Pure Anada (£9.95 each) which are available to buy at Live in the Light are well worth a look!

Balancing (Patchouli & Lemongrass) is suitable for all hair types and both bars - Shampoo & Conditioner are 115g giving you at least 100 washes/conditions each (the equivalent of 2-3 bottles of normal shampoo/conditioner!)

left - conditioner, right - shampoo

The pH balanced Balancing shampoo bar is made with Eco-cert approved, biodegradable, non-toxic surfactants and is infused with nourishing cocoa butter which cleanses and nourishes.

To use: dampen hair and then either rub to a lather between your palms like a soap bar before massaging onto the hair or rub the bar directly onto damp hair to create a foaming lather. Rinse.

I've been so impressed with the shampoo bar - it leaves my hair super shiny and luminous and it's got a gorgeous lingering aromatic scent. Hair feels clean, light and full of volume.

The deeply nourishing Balancing Conditioner Bar detangles, smoothes and deeply hydrates the hair leaving it smooth, non-frizzy and conditioned with a delectable aromatic scent.

To use: after shampooing lather up the bar between your palms before applying a generous amount to mid-lengths and ends. Leave for a few minutes before rinsing.

The conditioner bar is super nourishing and the hair is left feeling super soft, shiny and in perfect condition. I'm totally in love with this duo. Pick yours up HERE.

March: Lately I've Been Loving: My Chronicle Book Box, Pure Anada, Kiss the Moon, Bloom+The Simple Things mags

Everything changed so much in March with the coronavirus - I hope everyone is staying well and safe. *Means I've received something free of charge for review. Here's what I've been loving in March:

Hubby made Kedgeree, a delicious mix of basmati, smoked haddock, onion, curry paste and boiled eggs with a sprinkling of chopped parsley. We had it for brunch (but would have it for dinner too!)

My first My Chronicle Book Box which I reviewed HERE. It's such a carefully thought out subscription.

*I fell head-over-heels for Pure Anada's Peppermint Cream Effervescent Bath Soak* and Cocoa Body Butter*. The scent is almost good enough to eat - sugary mint with a touch of vanilla. Just sublime. This duo is fabulous for a non-calorific treat. See my review HERE and pick yours up HERE

*A truly decadent box of treats from Award Winning Kiss the Moon. The luxe packaging, beautiful scents with effective formulas just make my heart sing. Perfect for a moment of calm before bed. You can see my review of their GLOW Bedtime Bath Salts* HERE and their CALM after Dark Face Face Oil* HERE. A review is coming shortly for their gem CALM After Dark Sleep Balm*. The range is perfect for some me-time and to calm and relax both the body as well as the mind.

Lovely lifestyle magazines - my favs being Bloom and The Simple Things - with two gorgeous covers! I adore the 'lil' birds on a branch!

This duo* from Pure Anada which you can purchase at Live in the Light is almost good enough to eat and the perfect non-calorific treat! The scent is minty with a a slight vanilla sweetness and the products are lovely to use (And who knew? There is a whole Peppermint Cream range available at Live in the Light!) I'll definitely be checking it out.

The Effervescent Bath Soak (£11.50 for 450ml) is formulated with Israeli Dead Sea and pink Himalayan salts and will infuse your bathwater with essential minerals to detoxify and ease muscle tension. African Shea Butter and Cold Pressed Olive Oil softens and hydrates the skin. To use: add a handful to a hot bath, jump in and relax.

Cocoa Body Butter (£8 for 125ml) this rich and decadent body butter is an absolute delight. It melts easily onto warm skin and leaves it with a slight peppermint/vanilla scent (lush). To use: apply to clean dry skin daily to hydrate and soothe.

I've been really impressed with this lovely duo which make bath time into a real treat. Pick yours up HERE.

Coast73 Candles are based in Gullane in East Lothian in Scotland. The Essential Oil Natural Wax Candles are a latest launch and are gorgeous! I was very kindly gifted one* for review. You can buy via the Facebook page or at Cherish Vintage Tearooms in Gullane in their Emporium.

The candles are formulated using natural waxes and essential oils. Sea Buckthorn, with Bergamot, Orange & Camomile has a gentle fruity and slightly herbal aroma and a very even burn!

The perfect little gift is a bar of soap* from Kiss the Moon, as well as being exquisitely packaged these soaps are beautiful to use. They brighten up your day and are a lovely treat. See my review of their GLOW soap HERE.

The whole lot of mini saints in their On-The-Glow Bliss Pack (£65) (which comes with a beautiful branded bag or receive this free with the purchase of 3 mini saints) from Saint Iris Adriatica. The Award Winning Croatian inspired brand is formulated and founded by Sanela Lazic, to reflect the country's heritage and wellbeing. The scent is uplifting, fresh and citrus.

Sanela very kindly gifted me two of the mini saints - Vitality Spritz* and Wake-up Droplets* and I purchased the other three to enable me to try the whole range + get the gorgeous bag!  The three I purchased - Energy Cleanse, Purity Paste and Serenity Salve - expect a review of all five very soon.

Odylique's product of the month is their Award Winning Creamy Coconut Cleanser* with 10% off. See my review HERE. It'd be the perfect skincare treat for your mum.

You can't go wrong with a perfume from Shay & Blue. Of course I had to pick up the latest launch Blackberry Woods (£30 - 30ml) which is an exquisite blend of deliciously juicy blackberries, with neroli and lemon at the heart and a base of cypress woods. It really is a delight (my only negative is I'm not so keen on the new packaging - I miss that big "signature" bow on the front of my box!)

I gave my mum (saw her this weekend) a bouquet of flowers from my local shop - The Wild Flower Shop, a lipstick from Beauty Pie, a John Lewis voucher and some beauty samples I'd gathered for her.  What are you giving your mum for Mother's Day?

*Live in the Light: Mellow Hydrator Mango & Tea and Wild Raspberry Delectable Cleanser

*gifted Live in the Light, a fab online store (for Easter you can get 25% off everything which ends on Monday 22nd at midnight) which has brands like Carina Organics, Pure Anada, Fat & the Moon and AnnMarie Gianni to name a few on its online shelves.

I've been testing two products from Canadian brand, Pure Anada which are fantastic!

Their Wild Raspberry Delectable Cleanser (240ml - £15) is presented in a pump action bottle and I've been using it every morning for a fruity and uplifting morning wake-up call! The raspberry scent really is delicious.

To use: pump out a small amount and massage onto damp skin before removing with warm water.

My skin has been loving this gentle wash which smells amazing. My skin's been left feeling clean, comfortable and nourished.

The second product from the brand I've been loving is newly launched, Mellow Hydrator - Mango & Tea (60ml - £15) which is presented in a pump tube. The moisturiser is COSMOS certified organic and oil free which makes it great for combination/problem skin types.

To use: apply to the face and neck after toning.

My skin is loving this uplifting and happy scented moisturiser. It really is a joy to use, is light and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling nourished and looking matte (it's the one I'll be packing for my summer holidays).

I'd highly recommend both of these products - I'm off to check out what other skincare items I can pick up in the Easter sale! What's your favourites from the brand?

Live in the Light: Pure Anada Body Care

I've been testing out some body care products* by Canadian brand, Pure Anada which are available to buy at Live in the Light. I've previously tried some of their skincare (review) which was effective and nice to use.

Tahitian Garden Shower Gel (300ml - £14.50)* is presented in a pump action bottle. The wash is creamy, luxurious and richly scented. It deeply nourishes while cleaning the skin. The coconut oil base gives the wash a gentle lather. The scent is exotic and floral.

I chose to try a non-matching Hand & Body Lotion in Wild Cherry (300ml - £18.50)* which has a rich fruity scent. The lotion is more cream like in texture (and may have been best suited to a pot rather than a pump action bottle). Again, the product is nice to use and the lotion deeply nourishes the skin leaving it delicately scented.

The star product of the trio for me is Lemongrass Sugar Scrub (340ml - £21.50)* which is in a giant tub! The zesty and uplifting scent lifts the spirits while the scrub deeply exfoliates and moisturises the skin. I've found it has the perfect amount of scrubbiness to exfoliate and smooth the skin. Love!

Have you used any Pure Anada products? See the range available at Live in the Light HERE.

With any order over the Bank Holiday Weekend you'll receive a FREE (while stocks last) Orgaid Sheet Mask!

Shopping My Stash #85

Here's what I've been reaching for lately:

Trevarno's Rose & Jojoba Soap* which is gorgeous! It has a beautiful rose scent (which I love) and scrubby bits of ground rosehip which gently exfoliates the skin while you wash. See my review HERE.

I'm a huge fan of Carina Organics which you can buy at Live in the Light in the UK. See my review of the deliciously scented Sweet Pea Leave-in Conditioner* HERE.

MuLondon recently sent me a pot of their luxurious White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser* which I'd used in the past (and yes, it smells good enough to eat!) You can use it on your face, hands and body - I so LOVE a multi-purpose product and I'll enjoy using it once again.

Also, from Live in the Light is Pure Anada mascara* which is paraben, gluten and mercury free. It volumises and lengthens and is one of the best more natural mascaras I've used.

I received the little sample of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Botanical Cream Deodorant when I bought Imelda's (Content Beauty & Wellbeing) book (they offered a sample set if you pre-ordered). It's one of the best natural deodorants I've ever used and full size is on the wishlist.

From new brand Herbal Forest I've been loving their Chai Spice Lip Balm* (it really smells like chai tea!). It deeply nourishes the lips leaving them feeling moisturised and sweetly scented.

What have you been reaching for lately?
