*Trilogy Skincare Review

I very kindly received some Trilogy skincare products* from Love Lula for review. Inside my package was:

Trilogy Cream Cleanser (200ml - £23.50)* which is presented in a large glass pump bottle. It's formulated with the brand's signature rosehip oil which softens and cleans the skin. Evening Primrose, natural softeners and skin loving oils of carrot, jojoba and almond along with soothing chamomile are included in the formulation which makes the cleanser an absolute dream to use. Trilogy say that it's best for normal to dry skins but I've found my slightly drier autumnal combo skin is loving it! The cleanser gently cleanses and balances and leaves the skin feeling clean and very comfortable.

To use: AM/PM massage a small amount over the face and neck before rinsing and patting dry.

Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil (20ml - £19.50)* its so nice to have this product back in my stash! I've used it many times before and it was one of the first facial oils I tried. It'll help to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, soften and smooth, nourishing, renewing and restoring and it's good for stretch marks and scars too. It absorbs instantly and leaves the skin with a healthy glow!

To use: use before bed as a nourishing night treatment. Massaging a few drops onto the face and neck.

The third item I was kindly sent was their Age Proof Multi-Defence Moisturiser SPF15 (50ml - £29.50) which is a rich cream with a floral scent. It deeply repairs and hydrates and protects from UV and Blue Light damage. Enriched with Collagen rich Glycablend and fresh water algae complex PEPHA-AGE. It'll smooth and nourish and contains SPF. I've been really enjoying this moisturiser which plumps and firms and I'll definitely try others from the range soon.

To use: apply daily to cleansed face and neck.

What are you're favs from Trilogy?

August Empties

I'm very early with my August empties but I'm absolutely drowning in the stuff and want to recycle! Products marked * I've very kindly been gifted for review.

I've a few perfume samples: All Saints Incense City vial which I picked up via Feel Unique's pick 'n' mix service. I've since bought full size of this. See my review HERE. Safe to say I love it and would re-purchase. From Avon is one of their latest launches - Elixir of Love - Falling in Love with Neroli & Iris EdP vial (again, loved this and have picked up full size). My final sample vial is from Typology (Yuzu Mandarine)* - see my review HERE.  One for the wishlist.

I totally adored D'Alchemy's Spectacular Hand Therapy* and was bereft when I used this up (it's on the wishlist when I've used up some hand creams in my stash). It's just total perfection. See my review HERE.

Avon's Planet Spa Aromatherapy Beauty Sleep Hand Cream 30ml was nice to use before bed. Might or might not pick it up again.

I'd read absolute rave reviews about La Roche-Posay's Pure Vitamin C10 Serum 30ml. The product is fantastic as it brightens and makes the skin glow but the pipette packaging is terrible (cue excess dried on around the neck). Loved the product - hated the packaging.

Trilogy's Vitamin C Booster Treatment 12.5ml* I really liked this and would definitely buy it again when my skin needs some oompf. Check out my review HERE.

Diptyque Philosykos Perfume Oil Roll On - the best fig perfume out there. Will pick up the EdT at some point.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk 150ml - one of my favourite dry shampoos. Have already cracked open a new one. Does what it says on the tin.

Bronnley Rose Luxury Soap which was an absolute delight. Will definitely buy again. I also enjoyed Seatree's Bergamot Handcrafted Soap* see my review HERE (also the Patchouli soap further down my post).

Sol de Janeiro's Brazilian Joia Shampoo & Conditioner sachets both 10ml had been on the to try-list. Lovely to use - my hair loved them (and I adore that original bum bum scent). Full sizes on the wishlist. Moving on..

I loved Bloomtown The Woods Nourishing Dry Oil 100ml* see my review HERE. I've got a HUGE body care stash but I'll buy this when it reduces in size. I've had the Neal's Yard Remedies Garden Mint & Bergamot Hand Wash 200ml for what seems like forever (it was beside the sink in the kitchen) It's a lush and silky refreshing wash which I'll definitely buy again at some point.

From Elemental Herbology is their Lemongrass & Nutmeg Body Wash 290ml which I thoroughly enjoyed using. See my review HERE. It's one I'll definitely buy again. I buy again and again Avon's Zen Mandarin & Jasmine Handwash 250ml as I love the scent...and there's more...

JOIK Organic Quick Absorbing Hand Lotion & Softening & Deodorising Foot Lotion* samples. These gave a flavour of the products and yes, full sizes are on the wishlist!  Darphin Tangerine Aromatic Care 4ml absolutely gorgeous product - full size is on the wishlist. From Indie Lee is a trial size of their Purifying Face Wash which was nice to try. Unlikely to repurchase as there are other face washes I prefer. Moroccanoil Body Souffle mini which came in my August My Beauty Kit. Nice to try but not a buy-er.

I loved re-visiting Bramley products REVIEW and found their Body Wash lovely to use on hot summer days and nights. My final beauty item is Odacite's fab mood cleansing ayurvedic bath salts. See my review HERE.

Shopping My Stash #115

Products marked * I've been kindly gifted for review. Odylique's unscented Ultra Rich Balm* provides deep hydration to very dry skin (dry hands, knees and elbows, here's looking at you) and it also soothes skin prone to eczema. The balm protects the skin from heat, cold and wind making it the ideal holiday companion.

I bought Trilogy's Vitamin C Polishing Powder in early JUNE. I've got a slight obsession with Vit C at the moment. See my review of their Vit C Brightening Duo* HERE. This fine grain powder exfoliant (reminds me of Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant, although it's finer) is activated on contact with water turning it into a gentle foaming milk which will help to remove dead skin cells and brighten the skin. I've been enjoying using this and feel that my skin is definitely smoother and brighter.

I adore Klorane's Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (which was initially a Latest in Beauty Pick+in a LIB collection box). I just find it works and I've always got it in my stash.

My hair is the bane of my life at the moment (needs a cut and colour badly). I do have an appointment booked in for the 24th July - can't wait! I was looking for something to give my hair a bit of oompf and discovered a travel size of ORIBE's Supershine Moisturising Cream in my stash - oh my goodness, it's wonderful - it give the hair much needed moisture and huge glossy shine. Luckily you only need a teeny bit (full size 150ml is a whopping £54.50).

I adore Love Lula's Ooh! Oils of Heaven and their latest launch Organic Plum Conditioning Face Oil is amazing! See my review HERE. It's one of my favourite skincare products this year. So lovely.

I picked up Madara's Acne Acute Spot Roll on in the 40% off sale at Naturisimo recently. It's great for zapping occasional spots (of course as soon as I got it I was spot free!) It's a handy size to pop in a bag or pocket for instant relief on the go.

My final pick is Walden Natural Perfume's A Gentle Rain Perfume Oil* which I received in a Love Lula Beauty Box. This 10ml size is great to travel with, whether on holiday or to the office (if we ever get back there!) It's a beautiful scent with notes of oak moss, labdanum and patchouli - it's woody and spicy and is really easy to wear.

*Love Lula: Trilogy Vitamin C Skin Brightening Duo

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for an honest review. I've a slight obsession with Vitamin C at the moment and have been testing out Trilogy's fantastic Limited Edition Vitamin C Brightening Duo Kit (£44.50 worth £55).

Inside the box is a cute branded bag, 12.5ml Vitamin C Booster Treatment  (6%) (which is two weeks supply) and a 50ml tube of their Vitamin C Moisturising Lotion. The NATURE certified duo is great to use before a big event to brighten and uplift dull and tired skin (use for 2 weeks AM and PM) or just because!

The Treatment is high potency Vitamin C and is fresh - press the top (you do need to press down quite hard to release) and the 6% Vitamin C pops into the Hyaluronic Acid Concentrate below which is enriched with daisy extract, rosehip and mandarin oils (shake and then insert the pipette). It's a "two week shortcut to radiance". Once the Vitamin C Booster Treatment is activated use a few drops twice a day for 2 consecutive weeks to uplift and give the skin a glowy radiance.  Follow with the moisturising lotion which helps to prolong radiance.

I've not quite finished the two weeks (and the moisturiser will last longer) but I've been pretty impressed with the duo. My skin is definitely looking brighter and more radiant.

Have you used this kit? Do you think it's something you'd use?

Latest Buys:Five Dot Botanics, Feel Unique, Naturisimo, Cult Beauty

Here's what I've been buying lately (it's something which keeps me sane during these times):

I'm a huge fan of award winning Five Dot Botanics and on receiving their newsletter knew I needed to try their latest launch - Calm Shift - Lavender+Hazelnut Cleansing Face Balm (£24 - 50ml). I've tried it once so far and it has a lovely texture and scent and it turns milky when you add a splash or two of water. A review is to follow!

I sneaked in and managed to purchase a My Beauty Kit from Feel Unique before they paused the service again. I already love the Darphin, Charlotte Tilbury and Le Prunier - the Vichy and Sol de Janiero (I adore their bum bum cream) are new to me tries.

A little payday Naturisimo buy - two new launches from Elemental Herbology and Trilogy - I'm obsessed with Vit C at the moment. I also qualified for a 5 free sample pack (better than last time - no sanitary towels!)

I very nearly was swayed by the Cult Beauty Self Care Goody Bag but realised I didn't need £150 worth of products plus the 19 treats inside the kit. Yes, it was a difficult one to swerve... I did however pick up Jo Loves A Fragrance Discovery which contains 7 x 2ml sample vials (£25). Inside there are 3 I love (click the link for my review - White Rose & Lemon LeavesPomelo and Jo by Jo Loves). Of the remaining 4 full sizes are needed in Pink Vetiver and Rose Petal 25. I also like Orange Butterflies but am not so keen on Green Orange & Coriander (although unisex I find it quite manly). Really chuffed with the set however!

*Love Lula: Trilogy Hydrating Jelly Mask

*sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for review. I'd spotted Trilogy's Hydrating Jelly Mask 60ml (£20.50)* when it recently launched and quickly added it to my wishlist.

The mask has a jelly like texture and a floral scent. It is lovely to use and easy to apply.

It'll smooth, revitalise, hydrate, rejuvenate and plump the skin. Formulated with natural Hyaluronic Acid which smoothes lines and wrinkles, Rosehip Oil and Manuka Honey nourish the skin while Aloe Vera and New Zealand Kawakawa cool and refresh.

It's suitable for all skin types but in particular dry and dehydrated skins.

To use: apply to cleansed face and neck leave on 5-10 minutes before rinsing

My combo skin is actually a bit drier (probably due to being inside so much just now) and it's loving this nourishing and plumping mask. It's really easy to use and feels nice on the skin. I'd recommend it! What are your favourite Trilogy products?

February Empties

Here's my February empties. Products marked with * are product samples:

Beauty Pie's Super Healthy Skin Nourishing Body Wash 450ml - I loved this gently foaming wash which had an orangey type scent. Lasted ages too! Might or might not buy again.

I absolutely adore Klorane's Dy Shampoo with Oatmilk 150ml which was a Latest in Beauty pick. I've just opened my 2nd one and got a 3rd one on the way. It's fantastic, has a pleasant floral scent and leaves no white residue. I use it twice a week.

I've just opened my second System Professional Reconstructive Elixir Luxe Oil 30ml which I reviewed HERE. It'll always be in my stash as it just works.

*Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner 20ml which I reviewed HERE. Definitely one I'd buy full size when my stash reduces a bit.

*Madara Grow Volume Shampoo 10ml which came in January's fabulous Love Lula Beauty Box - see HERE. It's nice to use but I didn't really see any extra volume. Unlikely to buy full size.

System Professional Inessence Shampoo & Conditioner both 15ml sachets. These are the range's more "natural" products. I enjoyed using them (although the conditioner is clear like the shampoo!) Might or might not buy full size.

Madara Skin Equal Foundation samples (2ml) in shades Rose Ivory and Ivory. I loved Rose Ivory and would buy full size.

Rodial Vit C Eye Souffle 1ml which was nice to use but small sample - I didn't really notice much difference around the eye area. Would probably have to try it for longer/bigger size. Unlikely to buy.

Nourish Argan Anti-ageing Peptide Serum 2ml a nice product which I'd used before. Would buy again.

Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly 1ml which I think would be great to use in the summer months due to it's light gel consistency.

*Madara Grow Volume Conditioner 10ml - nice enough to use but I didn't really notice any difference to the volume of my hair. Unlikely to buy full size.

Ezape Naturals Ylang Ylang & Lavender Body Oil 50ml - a lush and rich blend of skin loving oils scented with essential oils. Lovely to use. I've got another two in my stash from beauty boxes!

Connock London Andiroba Oil Hand & Body Wash 75ml - this came in a set which I mentioned HERE. A gorgeous floral wash which was nice to use. Perfect for travel too.

Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisture Creme 250ml - I adore this luxurious body creme. See my review HERE. I've just opened a new pot.

Naturisimo - #Veganuary Discovery Box

I can never resist, or rarely a Naturisimo Discovery Box. January's box is themed #Veganuary and is stuffed full! It costs £19.95 and contains 9 plant powered, Vegan products to kick start 2020! I picked a couple of samples to make my order up to £25 (free p&p now kicks in with a £25+ spend).

WOW! There are 5 new-to-me products nestling inside (although I know all the brands). I'm also very happy to see the others nestling in there as they are all products I've tried in the past and loved. And so, for a closer look:

There's a duo set from The Organic Pharmacy comprising of their Antioxidant Face Serum & Gel which are both 5ml - great try me sizes or for travel. See my review HERE. I'm very happy to have this equally hardworking & lovely duo back in my stash!

I've not actually tried Indie Lee's Purifying Face Wash before (I love her brightening one). Inside is a 15ml tube. A review will be forthcoming. I adore BYBI Beauty and I'm very happy to see a dinky (10ml) of cult classic Babe Balm. See my review HERE.

I've nearly run out of loose powder so am very happy to see bellapierre's HD Finishing Powder in Translucent inside which I've used in the past. This is full size (6.5g) and worth a whopping £25. Very happy!

Now this pot smells heavenly! It's 100ml of Boucleme's brand new Exfoliating Scalp Shampoo which cleanses and energises the hair and scalp and should be used once a month.

A brand I love and a brand new product 5ml of Trilogy's Vitamin C Booster Treatment. Excited for this one!

Rounding up the box is a product from Inika's brand new skincare range (excitement much!) New+Exclusive Phytofuse Renew Avocado Hand Cream 4ml and Evolve's latest launch their Daily Apple Hair & Body Wash 50ml (which had been on the wishlist!)

My samples (to make my order up to £25):

I'm absolutely thrilled to bits with Naturisimo's first Discovery Box of the year. Did you pick one up?

*Love Lula Christmas: Stocking Fillers: REN Clean Skincare, Trilogy & Crazy Rumors

*productsamples sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program.

I adore REN's Moroccan Rose Otto range and this little tree decoration/stocking filler/secret santa gift is super cute. It contains a 10ml  (£10) bottle of their lush Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil which is a total delight. I've loved this for years and years (and way before I started blogging). See my review HERE.

I just adore a festive scented lip balm and Crazy Rumor's Apple Spice Limited Edition 100% Natural Lip Balm (4g - £3.99) is perfection - juicy apples spliced with spicy cinnamon (totally mouthwatering). The lip balm deeply nourishes the lips leaving them scented with spicy apples.

My final stocking filler pick is one of Love Lula's samples (which you can buy with an order over £10). Trilogy's Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm (10ml - £2) is the perfect stocking filler. A lush balm which makes short work of make up and daily grime and is very effective. Skin is left feeling clean and comfortable. What beauty products are you hoping to find in your Christmas stocking?

*Love Lula Christmas: Trilogy Get-Away Kit & Kiss The Moon LOVE Bedtime Bath Salts Jar

*productsamples sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program, all thoughts are genuine and my post contains one affiliate link. You can catch my first *Love Lula Christmas post HERE.

Trilogy's Get-Away Skincare Kit (£15.50)* makes the perfect small gift or it could be divided up for small gifts/secret santa presents. Inside the kit is:

Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ 5ml - which is a great little try me size/for holidays. It plumps, smoothes and rejuvenates. Formulated with certified organic rosehip oil as well as red berry super antioxidants including tomato, acai and cranberry seed oils which deeply nourish as well as delivering a daily dose of anti-oxidants to the skin (I'm already a huge fan).

Hydrating Mist Toner 20ml - which is lovely. It's formulated to give the skin an instant hit of moisture and can be used throughout the day. It smells glorious too (rose petals, lavender and geranium help to hydrate and tone).

NEW: Limited Edition Everything's Dreamy Balm 18ml - this is gorgeous! A beautiful lavender scented balm which can be used for massage or as a body balm to relax and unwind. It's definitely needed to calm and relax in the frazzled period in the run up to Christmas and beyond! It's an ideal size for popping in your handbag too and it'd be perfect for a night or weekend away.

I just noticed that Kiss the Moon's Bedtime Bath Salts* 350g had been reduced to a bargainous £16 (from £25). I'm unsure if this is just a special offer or a long term thing. They'd make the perfect Christmas gift for any bath loving friend. I selected their LOVE variety which is a blend of romantic and rejuvenating Rose & Frankincense which help to ease you into a perfect night's sleep.

The bath salts are presented so well - I love the feminine packaging and the little spoon to scoop out your salts (it's the little things!). The salts have quite a gentle scent - I was expecting them to be more highly scented having previously tried GLOW (& DREAM) Bedtime Bath Salts (REVIEW).

To use: Allow 4-6 spoonfuls to melt in a warm bath before hopping in and relaxing (this jar has enough product for 10-12 baths).

What's on your Christmas wishlist?

Naturisimo Wish List

I love checking out Naturisimo's Newest arrivals - there's always something there which catches my eye...

Every OSKIA product I've tried I've loved. This latest launch - SPF30 Vitamin Mist (£46 - 100ml) sounds perfect for everyday use or holidays.

Trilogy's latest launch along with the Vitamin C Moisturising Lotion is their Vitamin C Booster Treatment (£29.50 - 12.5ml) which is a 2 week brightening treatment with 6% high potency natural Vit C which brightens and makes the skin more luminous.

French Girl has been on my wishlist like forever and of course I "need" Eau de Neroli Floral Mist (£18 - 60ml) which is a beautiful floral toner. While we're at it I'll also have Nectar de Neroli Facial Oil Elixir (sounds lush!) (£44 - 30ml).

From Captain Blankenship I'm drooling over their Golden Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray (£28 - 118ml, £16 - 59ml) which would be perfect for summer or holidays or to brighten up a dull winter day!

I'm also lusting after Odacite's Blue Aura Cleansing Water (£39 - 120ml) as I love this brand. Everything I've tried from it so far has been top notch. This cleansing potion will remove pollution, impurities and make up in one easy step.

I've also got my eye on their All Embracing Serum with Watermelon & Hibiscus Crystal Infused Hydration (£95 - 50ml) which sounds like perfection for long lasting hydration and to calm both the skin and mind.

Trilogy Jua Natural Perfume

Just before my London trip I picked up Trilogy's Jua Natural Perfume at Love Lula

A Limited Edition perfume which comes in a roll on bottle and costs £13.50 for 7.5ml making it a great gift/treat.

From each perfume sold Trilogy are donating to the charity So They Can, which educates and empowers African Communities.  The scent uses hand pressed sunflower oil produced by one of So They Can's social business projects.

This 100% natural perfume has a lovely light scent. Using sunflower oil as its base and inspired by Africa's lush natural environment the perfume was developed with New Zealand based perfumer Yves Dombrowsky.

Top Notes: bergamot, rose, freesia
Middle Notes: apricot, frankincense, mint
Base Notes: cedar wood bark, vetyver, vanilla

It is quite a light scent and I do need to apply it often throughout the day but I love the light floral and warming notes on the skin.

Have you tried this scent?
