July Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up this month so here are my July empties (if a product is marked * I very kindly received it free of charge for review):

Green People Neroli & Marshmallow Shower Gel* which I featured in my Love Lula picks in April. See my post HERE. This was lovely and I'd buy it again.

No Secrets Hand Butter One 15ml which I thought was more of a rich cream than a butter. Gorgeous scent and nice to use. Would maybe or maybe not buy again but no plans at the moment to.

Noble Isle Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel 75ml which is one of my fav Noble Isle scents. Sure to buy again at some point. See my review HERE.

I absolutely adore Organic Work's Bergamot range. I used up the Shower Gel 300ml and Hand Wash 300ml* (review). I'll definitely buy both of these again at some point.

I adore Kiki Health's Magnesium Oil Spray 125ml for soothing aches and pains. I've just cracked open another one as it's a staple in my stash.

The Balance Me Hyaluonic Plumping Mist 10ml was a magazine freebie. I really enjoyed it and would buy full size.

The Organic Pharmacy's Magnesium Stress Complex 60 caps is another must have. They'll calm the mind, help with aches and pains and help with sleep problems. Already replenished.

I recently picked up some de Mamiel sample sizes which I've been enjoying. I definitely want to pick up the next Seasonal Oil full size! I also loved the Revitalising Body Serum. Great brand and products.

I received the de Mamiel 5ml First Fix in a recent Cult Beauty Goody Bag. Gorgeous, my skin loved it. Full size now on the wishist!

Rounding up my July empties is SOiL's Peppermint Essential Oil 10ml which is something I use a lot for diffusing and cleaning around the house (diluted).

What have you been using up this month?

*Love Lula: BLOSSOM: Green People, Therapi Honey Skincare & JOIK

*Received free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger - AD. As you'll know, I've been theming my blogger picks this year with Love Lula and for April I chose BLOSSOM. I'm a huge fan of springtime blossom so it was a natural pick. See my previous reviews - SLEEPLOVE and AWAKEN.

I chose Green People's Moisturising Shower Gel with Neroli & Marshmallow (£13 - 200ml)* (which is free from SLS/SLES, parabens, methylisothiazolinone, methylchloroisothiazolinone, phthalates, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), colourants and artificial fragrances) making it one of the purest shower gel that nature can offer. It has a gorgeous neroli blossom scent and creates a rich and silky foamy lather.

To use:
apply a small amount to wet skin, massaging before rinsing. Skin is left feeling clean and nourished with a light floral aroma. I like this a lot!

My second pick this month is Therapi Honey Skincare's Orange Blossom Hydrating Toner (£25.50 - 100ml)*. It balances normal and sensitive skin types and has a beautiful orange blossom aroma. My skin has recently felt like it has needed a bit more hydration and this beautiful toner revitalises, hydrates and balances. It really is a joy to use!

To use: spritz onto the skin after cleansing or any time your skin needs a hydration boost. Happiness in a bottle!

My final pick under the Blossom theme is JOIK's new-in Apple & Elderflower Foaming Handwash (£15 - 250ml)* with a nod to Elderflower blossoms. It's enriched with aloe juice and apple extract. The liquid becomes a foam the instant you pump some from the bottle and has a divine fruity/floral scent. It quickly and easily cleans the hands leaving them delicately scented and feeling nourished. I absolutely love it and although it is on the pricey side for a hand wash I'll definitely repurchase as it's so nice to use.

To use: pump a small amount of foam onto damp hands and wash as normal. Rinse.

Another joy giving month. I've really loved trying this trio which are effective, luxurious and nice to use. Have you tried any of these products?

*Love Lula Beauty Box: November 2020

*sent to me free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review. WOW what a box this month! It's absolutely fantastic. Inside are 3 full size products, a luxury travel size and a sachet. Check out the subscription HERE. This month the contents are worth £67! As ever there is a generous 20% off code, as an added extra to enjoy this month (on the brands in the box).

WOW!

Such an amazing box! Inside are two latest launches, a product which has been on my wishlist and two new to me ones. A stellar box! And so, for a closer look..

I'm a huge fan of Ooh! Oils of Heaven and adore their Organic Plum Conditioning Face Oil* (REVIEW) so I'm excited to try their brand new Natural Cucumber Soothing Face Oil 30ml (worth £19) which is highly moisturising and nurturing. Expect a review for this one when I've had the chance to try it.

I was over-the-moon and then some to see one of Skin Alchemist's gorgeous soaps nestling in the box. They've been on my wishlist! I'm excited to see a bar of their Dirty Chai nestling there! This and another (Eggnog) were created especially for the beauty box. These soaps come in at £10 for 128g.

Again, another new launch at Love Lula, Green People's Hydrating Calming Serum 50ml (£21) which is a welcome addition. The scent-free serum is soothing, hydrating and regenerating and perfect for autumn and winter skins! A great addition to the box.

Rounding up the box are two products from Madara - a luxury travel size (12.5ml) of their Re:Gene Lifting Mask which will lift and plump the skin and a 3ml sachet of their Infinity Drops (a product I've always been keen to try, but been put off by the price of a full size!)

Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts to the contents of November's box?

*Green People: Nordic Roots Hyaluronic Booster Serum

*sent to me free of charge for review as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger. Thanks also to Green People for the opportunity of trying out one of their latest launches.

Green People's Nordic Roots Hyaluronic Booster Serum (28ml - £27)* is part of the newest fragrance free launch (there are 3 other products in the range) which is inspired by Scandinavian's love of purity, simplicity and functionality. I love the simple but stylish packaging and how dewy my skin looks after application. It's certified COSMOS Natural by EcoCert.

The serum is white in colour and is presented in a pipette bottle. It absorbs instantly leaving the skin feeling comfortable and hydrated. Formulated with hydrating plant extracts which work with your natural p-H balance. Hop flowers target hyperpigmentation and age spots while Squalane is youth boosting. Also in the formulation is hydrating Glycerine and skin plumping Sodium Hyaluronate.

To use: apply to the skin AM and PM after cleansing.

I've been really impressed with this serum (although I've not been using it for long). My skin is hydrated, plumped and more glowy. Have you tried anything from the Nordic Roots range yet?

Naturisimo: Summer Vibes Discovery Box

I thought I'd managed to resist Naturisimo's latest Discovery Box - Summer Vibes (£19.95 worth £86) but you know the drill... There were a few items inside that I was hankering after like Absolution's Le Gommage Corps Body Scrub (208g) which is worth £36! It has the texture of soft scented sand and I'm totally in love. Currently there are still a few boxes remaining..

And for a closer look..

There is a 30ml Green People Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF30 (worth £7) which I'll be applying before my 2.5 walk this morning. I've used this before and it's lovely.

From Madara is a full size Hemp Lip Balm 15ml (worth £10) and is another product I've used before.

I was desperate to try Captain Blankenship's Mermaid Hair Oil and inside is a 5ml sample. I tried it yesterday and loved how soft and hydrated my hair felt. Full size now firmly on the wishlist.

I've tried a few Scentered Therapy Balms before but not Escape scent. Inside is a full size tube (5g) which is worth £14.50. It smells of summer holiday and exotic shores. I'm looking forward to testing it out.

From Caudalie is 10ml of their Vinoperfect Serum which ml by ml is worth £15. Again, one I've tried before and loved.

Ahhh this is perfection (the scoop came with another scrub). Read more about the body scrub HERE. A review will follow.

Naturisimo: The Home Spa Discovery Box

I always love a Naturisimo Discovery box but hummed and hawed before I jumped in and bought one of their semi-recent ones (there's now a new Spring Glow one available, while stocks last). The Home Spa Discovery Box (currently still available) costs £19.95 and is worth £82). Nestled inside are 9 items:

And for a closer look..

WOW! Great value.

From Madara is their Infusion Vert Intense Antioxidant Body Cream (200ml - £17) which I've had the pleasure of using before. It's a rich cream which is intensely nourishing with a pleasant herbal scent (this is nearly the price of the whole box!)

I've had Bamford Pebble Soaps before and this mini one (40g) is perfect. It's scented with geranium essential oils and shaped like a heart. It has a beautiful scent and creamy lather. So nice to have one of these joyful soaps back in my stash.

From Weleda there is a 50ml tube of their Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash which I've used several times before. This orangey citrus scented creamy wash is lovely to use. See my review HERE.

Always love a bit of Dr Hauschka and inside is 10ml of their Rose Nurturing Body Oil which will soothe and calm the skin. Its the perfect size for try me/travel.

From Estelle & Thild is a full size of their BioCleanse Deep Cleansing Detox Mask (75ml which is worth a whopping £34.90). This was the product which mainly swayed me to buy the discovery box (but I'm well pleased with everything else within!). The mask will unclog pores and rid the skin of toxins. A review will come!

Inside is a 2.8ml of A'kin's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil which I've had the pleasure of using before. See my review HERE.

Whamisa, while I've heard of, I've never used any of the items in the range before. I'm looking forward to trying their Organic Flowers Foaming Gel (20ml) which is a gentle SLS free hydrating cleanser.

From Green People there is a 30ml trial size of their Quinoa & Artichoke High Shine Shampoo 30ml which I've tried before. Always a handy size to have in my stash.

BOUCLEME was a new to me brand last box (I've fallen head over heels for their Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo). Although the brand is mainly for curly hair types some of the products are universal. Inside this box is 100ml of their Intensive Moisture Treatment which I'm looking forward to trying out.

It's a great and well thought out box in my opinion. Did you pick one up?

*Love Lula: Green People Edelweiss Sun Lotion with Tan Accelerator SPF15

*productsample sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program (my post contains one affiliate link) I'd used Green People's Edelweiss Sun Lotion Natural Tan Accelerator* before so it was nice to re-visit it recently during the spell of warm weather (100ml - £13.50). I'll also be taking it on my summer hols (as well as some higher factor SPF). It helps to maximise a beautiful golden tan as well as protecting prickly heat sufferers (me!)

The texture is a rich cream (which does take a while to rub in, so I tend to apply it in small amounts).

Formulated with 3 layers of natural sun protection - UV Filters, Antioxidants and Sun Tan Accelerator. The natural tan accelerator element gives you 28% more tan and it'll help to prolong your tan. It also contains cooling Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Edelweiss, Inositol and Avocado.

To use: apply a small amount to your palms and apply to the body 20 minutes before exposure to the sun.

Made with over 80% natural ingredients including a blend of safe, non-toxic filters. Green People suggest care is taken when wearing white clothing and using this product as there can be some staining.

Have you used this product before? What are your favourite suncare products and brands?

Naturisimo: Vegan Discovery Box

You'll know how I love Naturisimo's Discovery boxes so couldn't resist their latest one - Vegan Discovery Box (worth £50) and costing £17.95 including p&p.

It's absolutely jam packed!

And for a closer look..

Inside is 11 travel and sample sizes:

From Pacifica, a brand I've been liking quite a lot recently is 29ml of their Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter which smells glorious, almost mouthwatering. I'm looking forward to trying this.

From old favourite Bamford (used to get this a lot in Latest in Beauty boxes) is 100ml of their Geranium, Lavender & Peppermint Body Lotion.

New to me from A'kin is Hydrating Mist Toner 30ml which is a great travel size, I'll be packing this for my next trip.

I'm a huge fan of Briogeo Hair Care and am looking forward to trying Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask 29ml.

From Juice Beauty we have a trial size (5ml) of their Stem Cellular CC Cream in Desert Glow. It's a broad spectrum SPF30 sunscreen which melts onto the skin and has a delicious citrus scent. Desert Glow is for fair-medium skin tones.

I've loved all the meow meow tweet products I've tried so far and this Coconut Cacao Vegan Lip Balm 7g has an almost edible scent and feels really nourishing on the lips (you can also use it on hands and body).

From Green People we have a 10ml size of their Vita Min Fix 24hr Cream which I'm sure I've used before and my skin loved.

From COOLA there is a SPF30 unscented Matte Tinted Moisturiser in Natural Beige 5ml which I'll pack in my holiday bag also.

There's a 5g pot of natural deo balm from the Natural Deodorant Co in Lemon Geranium which smells lush. Looking forward to testing this out.

From Nourish there's a 5ml sachet of their Probiotic Multi-Mineral Repair Mask with Damask Rose & Lavender which is a perfect pamper treat.

The final item is a sachet (0.17oz) of GLOW Inner Beauty Powder from The Beauty Chef which can be blended into water or a smoothie.

It's a great box. Did you pick one up?

Naturismo: Hair Food Discovery Box

As you'll know I can never resist a Naturisimo Discovery Box. I snapped up their latest one Hair Food Discovery Box (£17.95) which is worth £47.

Inside are 12 hair treats - travel and sample size - which are great for try-me or holidays.

I've used Yarok's Feed Your Ends (59ml) before and found it really suited my hair. It detangles, lightly conditions and protects the hair from blow drying and straightening. It's a great summer must-have.

From John Masters Organics is one of my summer must-haves Sea Mist (60ml) which gives the hair body and beachy waves. Love!

I was excited to see a new to me product from Meow Meow Tweet, a sample size (32g) of their Rosemary Avocado Shampoo Bar which nourishes, conditions and softens the hair. I'm looking forward to trying this out!

I just love Tabitha James Kraan's Scented Organic Hair Oil 3ml which leaves the hair shiny, glossy and silky smooth. See my review HERE. I'm really happy to have this little beauty back in my stash!

From Rahua there are two very generous trial sizes (22ml each) of their Voluminous Shampoo & Conditioner. These will add volume and shine. I've tried these before and my hair seems to like them!

From Briogeo is their Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (22ml) which is currently in my stash (love). It lightly conditions and provides long lasting hydration.

From Madara there are two 10ml sachets - Colour & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner and sachets from Green People (both 5ml) of their Intensive Repair Shampoo & Conditioner.

The final item is geared more towards curls Boucleme Intensive Moisture Treatment 50ml which deeply nourishes and enhances beautiful glossy curls.

It's a great box - what are your thoughts? Did you pick one up?

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box - July - Rose

I picked up my July Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box on Friday before rushing out the door for a wee weekend in North Berwick. I finally got round to looking more closely at everything in July's box last night.

The theme this month is rose (isn't that tissue just exquisite!)

And for a closer look...

The first item to jump out at me was new to me brand Zenon Kition and inside is 100ml Floral Beauty Mist (worth £9.99) which you can use skin, hair and scalp.

I'm already a huge fan of Alteya Organics Age Defense Rose Oil Hand Cream (30ml - £6.20) See my review HERE. Very happy to have a back up now in my stash!

From Lola's Apothecary is their Delicate Romance Body & Massage Perfume Deluxe Roll-on (10ml - £20) which is rose heaven! Use as a perfume, as a body oil or for massage. It's exquisite.

It's nice to see a make up item in the box. Inside is Odylique's Lip Line in Rose (full size - £12.50) which I'm looking forward to testing out.

From Balmkind there is their Beauty Shortlist Awards 2018 Finalist - Alpine Rose & Lysine Lip Balm (10ml - £12) which I reviewed HERE.

There's a duo from Weleda - two trial sizes from their Wild Rose range - Creamy Body Wash (20ml) and Body Oil (10ml). I tried these recently for the first time and loved them.

The final item is samples from Green People of their Damask Rose Facial Oil (5ml) and Damask Rose Moisturiser (10ml).

It's a great value box this month and stuffed full of rose scented goodies and as ever money off coupons from most of the brands. For me this month there are two new to me products and one new to me brand. Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts?

April Empties

This must be the smallest amount of empties...ever.. (I recycled the ones I'd finished when I was away recently rather than bring them back). I'm not going to use anything else up so here goes..

MOA Dreamy Mineral Soak 400g - I absolutely loved these. I bought them with a 30% off code as I'd never buy them full price. If they were on offer again I'd be sure to snap them up. See my review HERE.

Kiss the Moon GLOW Bedtime Bath Salts 400g* - Again, these were fabulous and I loved them. See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy these when my stash reduces.

I absolutely adored all three Botany Blend oils** I tried. These two samples were also gorgeous (don't you just love companies which offer trial sizes). See my review HERE. I'm highly likely to buy ACESO in the future.

New from Tabitha James Kraan is Clean Shampoo which has a slight lather. This 10ml sample gave me two uses making it a good try-me (or perfect for holidays). I'll definitely buy full size soon.

From Sisley and my April subscription sample pack is their Revitalising Volumising Shampoo 8ml which I found to have a strange oily sort of texture. This seemed nice enough but I didn't really notice any extra volume in my hair.

My final sachet this month is from Green People - Intensive Repair Shampoo which seemed nice. The sachet is quite small so I only got one use from it.  Might or might not buy full size.

Beatitude Peace Bath Oil 10ml - I'm a huge fan of this brand (my favourite scent is Joy). This is great for a relaxing soak. See my review HERE.

Kiss the Moon LOVE After Dark Face Oil 5ml is truly decadent and very luxurious. See my mini review HERE. My stash of face oils is truly huge but once it reduces a bit I'll buy this again.

ESPA Restorative Body Oil 15ml which was a Latest in Beauty Build your own Box pick. Nice to use with a pleasant scent.  My body products stash is huge so probably wouldn't buy.

Molton Brown Frankincense & Allspice Handwash 300ml - I adore this spicy wash. This was my last full size (and I never got round to picking any up in the sales) so no more for me until it's back in store in October. See my review HERE.

My final item this month is Ezàpè Naturals Rosemary Body Butter 25g which is a nourishing pot of goodness. See my review HERE. I've got a full size pot of this waiting to be used but I'd buy again.

What have you been using up this month?

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box - April - Radiance

It's always an exciting day when my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box arrives. April's box is all about Radiance.  So what's inside:

OMG how pretty is that! And WOW!

And for a closer look..

I was super excited to see a full size MONO Naturoils Rose & Cucumber Cleansing Oil (20ml - £20) which has been on the wishlist a while. The cleansing oil will deeply but gently clean the skin, soothing and balancing while nourishing the skin. The range is infused with high vibrational healing energies of crystals and gemstones and this one uses Clear Quartz. A review will follow on this one for sure! Also included is a trial size of their Facial Steam from founder, Tracy.

Anita Grant is such a lovely brand. I first tried it back in April 2013 (and these two sample products were ones I selected!) See my review HERE. I'm looking forward to revisiting both of these (I also love the new simple, plain but stylish packaging). Coconut Rosewood Dry Oil (£2.99) and Organic Vanilla Cocoa Body Butter (£3.45).

Squeals, a new to me brand! This is one of the reasons beauty boxes excite me! Wild Source Apothecary is small batch skincare carefully formulated with love, care and attention to detail. The Radiance Mask (30ml - £15) is a blend of pink and kaolin clay with organic fruit extracts. It will exfoliate and rejuvenate, minimising pores and balancing sebum. A full review will follow.

From Naissance we have their 100% pure Certified Organic Cold Pressed Organic Rosehip Oil (I couldn't find a size on the bottle but it's worth £8.99). Use it on your skin or hair or to formulate your own facial serum!

Last but not least is a 30ml Green People trial size (30ml - £4) of their Quinoa & Calendula Shower Gel which is scented with Sweet Orange & Ginger.

A fabulous box! As ever there are discount codes included for some of the brands. Sign up for April's box NOW.
