*Love Lula Beauty Box: May 2021

*I receive the Love Lula Beauty Box complimentary as one of their Accredited Bloggers for an honest review. This month the contents are worth £68 and contains 4 full size products!

What a great box! The first thing to jump out at me was my fav Organic Works. Inside this month is a full size Lavender Hand Wash worth £10. For me, hand wash is always a welcome item in a beauty box as in these times I go through it by the gallon! I'm also a fan of their Bergamot Hand Wash* (review) Looking forward to this 'un!

As soon as the latest Walden Natural Perfume - A Morning Star EdP arrived I rushed out to buy a 15ml spray. See my review HERE. Inside the beauty box this month is a full size natural perfume oil rollerball 10ml worth £22.

I've used Bowe Organics Lash Oil before and inside the box this month is their Brow Oil 10ml which is worth £17. It'll help to thicken and strengthen and grow your brows.

Rounding up the box this month is Urban Veda's Purifying Day Cream 50ml which is worth £18.99. I've used this cream before. It's suitable for oily and congested skin types and has a minty herbal aroma.

*Love Lula: UrbanVeda Hand Sanitisers

*gifted samples as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program - As you'll know I'm always on the lookout to try new hand sanitisers! See my posts on ones I've enjoyed using so far during the pandemic HEREHERE and HERE.

UrbanVeda has 3 sanitisers in their range - I picked up the two larger ones to try and review (100ml - £7, although currently at time of writing this on special at £5.95)!

The pump action spray (which is made from PET and 100% recyclable) is very easy to use and the sanitiser will kill 99.99% of bacteria. It's formulated with 70% alcohol, essential oils and natural glycerin to soften and moisturise.

Citrus Fresh* has a uplifting Bergamot, Lemon and Lime aroma while Spa Blend* is scented with herbal Rosemary, Lavender and Clary Sage.

To use: spray onto hands and rub together for fragrant and protected hands

Yes, you've guessed it I love these! Pick yours up HERE.

February's Love Lula Beauty Boxis worth a whopping £65 and includes 3 full sizes. Sign up HERE (£13.95 UK rolling month-per-month, 3 months International - £52.50).

The first thing to jump out at me is new ooh! Oils of Heaven Avocado Face Oil which is worth £19. I absolutely adore this range (see my spotlight HERE - although there are new ones in the range since I wrote the post). I'm very happy to try this nutty and green scented oil. A review will follow.

The second item which piqued my interest is award winning Pure & Light's Essential Face Cream 15ml which contains 27 active ingredients. Again, a review will follow.

From Madara we have their full size Exfoliating Oil-to-Milk Scrub (60ml - £24) which is lovely. See my review HERE.

The final item, another full size is UrbanVeda's Hydrating Toner (150ml - £9.74) which is formulated to Ayurvedic principles. I'm pretty sure I've used this before and enjoyed it.

The two products I'm most looking forward to trying (as they are new to me) is the Ooh! Oils of Heaven Avocado Face Oil and the Pure & Light Essential Face Cream. What do you think of the box this month?

UrbanVeda have some great value gift sets available at Love Lula which range in price from £11.99 to £29.99).  This set which I've been trying is the Soothing Body Ritual Gift Set (£29.99)* which contains 3 full size products:

Soothing Body Wash 200ml - is a gently cleansing Ayurvedic infusion of Sandalwood, Rosemary, Patchouli, Peppermint, Geranium, Palmarosa, Clary Sage and Myrrh. The blend helps to fight tiredness, dehydration and stress and leaves the skin clean and nourished.

Soothing Body Scrub 200ml - Ana at Ana Goes Green reviewed this scrub HERE. Her review piqued my interest and this is why I chose this set to review. The scrub is extra gentle and sloughs away dead skin cells with crushed walnut and volcanic Pumice. Vitamin rich Orange, Lemon, Arjuna, Geranium and Palmarosa hydrate. Love Lula Beauty Box: December 2017

December's Love Lula Beauty Box* while not the most exciting is great value for money. The products are worth £58 this month (UK subscription costs £13.95 a month recurring). Every month there's also a special code for 20% off the brands in the box.

So what's inside:

The first thing that caught my eye is Madara's SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask which is full size (60ml) and worth £35. We received a trial size of this mask last November and my skin loves it!

Next up are two make up items from PHB Ethical Beauty while I love the brand I feel they are in the beauty box too often (a little bit like Madara!)

There's a Liquid Eye Liner in Black (£12.95) and a Peach Lip Crayon (£8.95). Unfortunately, I won't use either of these (have too shaky a hand for liquid liner and the peach liner's not really my shade). They are good value items in the box however and both are full size.

The final items are controversial sachets (I personally love them) as I find them great for trying before buying.  The one I'm most looking forward to trying is by new brand at Love Lula - MOSSA - I got a sachet of their Miracle Peel which I'm looking forward to using (before my work Christmas night out next week). Other sachets include a trio from UrbanVeda and a Dr Hauschka Hydrating Cream Mask.

Latest in Beauty: Build your own Box

I absolutely love (am obsessed with) the "Build your own Box" section at Latest in Beauty. I'm always seeing things I want! The boxes are brilliant value - you can pick 3, 6 or 9 items. This time I went for 6 which costs £12.99 plus P&P.

Last box I loved Kneipp's Pure Bliss Mineral Bath Salts (60g - single use) so I chose them again. They make for a relaxing soak.

I've tried the MAULI Himalayan Healing Salts (60g) before and loved them. See my thoughts HERE

Urbanveda Reviving Hydrating Toner (150ml - worth £13.99) which is scented with rose. It regenerates and tones the skin. Looking forward to trying this out. Expect a full review shortly.

Jane Iredale Smooth Affair 7ml a lovely primer which brightens and illuminates the skin.

Another full size I chose is the Benecos Hand & Nail Cream (75ml - £2.95) which is scented with orange and sea buckthorn. A light and easily absorbed cream with a delicious scent.

My final pick was Korres Bergamot Pear Body Milk 40ml which will be handy for holidays (if it lasts that long - it's gorgeous) and has a beautiful fruity scent.

urbanveda: Reviving Renewing Night Cream Rose+Botanicals

I've used some of the other skincare ranges from urbanveda before.  See my review of the Purifying range here.

Products are formulated using natural ingredients and the principles of Ayurveda using herbs, flowers and fruits combined with vitamins and actives.  The ranges are designed to suit different skin types. Find out your dosha here.

The ranges: Purify, Soothe, Revive and Radiance.

Packaging is recyclable and products are free from parabens, SLS, artificial colours, no GMO and certified by the Vegetarian Society. No animal ingredients except cruelty free honey and beeswax and no animal testing.

I was sent the very lovely Reviving Renewal Night Cream with Rose+Botanicals (50ml - £14.99)* to review. It is good for tired or mature skin types.

This light but rich fast absorbing night cream smells divine! It has a delicate rose and jasmine scent which is soothing, calming and perfect to use just before bed. It is also a pleasure to use and one of the nicest night creams I've tried lately.

It contains hydrating Rose Damask Flower Water, organic and collagen boosting extracts, is rich in Essential Fatty Acids and Omega Rich Bio-Oils.  It helps to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles as well as restoring suppleness and elasticity.

To use: apply to face, neck and decolletage nightly after cleansing.  I definitely want to explore more products in this range.

Have you used any urbanveda products?

Love Lula Haul

I came back from hols and spotted Love Lula's Clean Sweep Selection Box (£19.95 for seven items) and worth £39.50! I just had to snap it up!

KONJAC French Red Clay Vegetable Fibre Sponge (Full Size - £6.99) this sponge is suitable for dry and sensitive skin.  Leaves the skin clean and radiant.

Mitchell & Peach Luxury Shower Wash 50ml - huge fan of this luxe lavender scented shower gel.

La Claree Gentle Cleansing Milk trial size - not tried anything from this brand yet. It smells lovely.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser (30ml - £10.95) - excited to use this product again. I used it long before I was a blogger. Deliciously scented with lemongrass, it is a natural exfoliant which is suitable for most skin types. Looking forward to reacquainting myself with this one!

MOX Botanicals Bath Milk in Coconut & Vanilla Bean (£8) - I recently tried these giant teabags for the bath and loved them.  Looking forward to trying a different scent.  See my review here.

UrbanVeda Purifying Facial Polish 20ml - I've received this in various beauty boxes.  See my review here.

Gielly Green Hand & Body Wash (50ml  - £5) - a deliciously scented product. See my review here.

Love Lula also let you choose up to 3 samples per order of £10 or more.  See more details here.  As these were two separate orders I was able to pick up two lots of samples.

I also picked up John Masters Organics latest UK launch - Rose & Apricot Hair Milk (118ml - on special currently at £20) - this leave in conditioner smells gorgeous and I can't wait to try it out - full review to follow.

Love Me Beauty Box - June Edition Menu 2

My June Love Me Beauty box* landed on the mat yesterday morning.

I chose menu 2 this month. Also included in the box is a £10 special voucher for Flavourly which is a lovely added extra in the Birthday box and especially for Love Me Beauty customers.

Beauty UK High Brow Kit (£3.99) I was keen to try this little kit as I tend to get my eyebrows waxed or threaded and that's it. So I'm looking forward to giving this a go. It contains 3 shades of powder, a double ended applicator, a colourless wax to keep brow hairs in place and a teeny tiny pair of tweezers.

Model Co Eye Define Pencil in Black (£9) I find I can never have enough eyeliners! Love that this has a built in sharpner. It gives intense long lasting colour. I'm pretty sure I've used one of these before and loved it.

NYX Cosmetics Nail Polish in Compulsive (£3) these are "exotic shades" I'm not a huge polish fan so I'll pass this one on.

Urban Veda Purifying Daily Facial Wash (full size retails at £7.99 the size included in the box is 20ml) I've used this before and really liked it.  I'll be popping this one in my travel bag.  See my review here.

Montagne Jeunesse Hot Springs Sauna Masque (£1) huge fan of these single use masks. This one is self-warming and suitable for a deep cleanse.

I thought the box contents were not as exciting as last month's box which I loved. I am however looking forward to trying the brow kit!

March Empties

Here's my March empties:

Nourish Balance Essential Moisturiser sample - this was nice to use and had a great scent but quite a small sample so unsure if it's really suited to my skin. I'd maybe try and purchase a bigger size.

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml - simply adore this bath oil. Sure to buy it full size at some point.  See my review here.

Conscious Skincare Grapefruit & Cedarwood Body Wash 50ml - this was lovely and refreshing. I'm tempted to pick up full size.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion 20ml - my favourite Weleda scent. Sure to buy again.  See my review here.

Maddi Alexander Frivolous Bath Oil 10ml - this was lovely to use and scented with citrus and spice. Would buy again.

Revive Creme Visage SPF30 5ml - a real luxe face cream. Was nice to use but probably wouldn't purchase as it is super pricey.

bodhi Ylang Ylang Incensa Sensual Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - one of my favourites. See my review here.

Urbanveda Daily Purifying Facial Wash 20ml - this was nice to use.  See my review here. I've got another stashed away to use.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation 30ml - one of my favourite foundations. Will repurchase.

Estee Lauder Daywear BB Creme 5ml - this was nice to use, a natural looking shade and one I'd consider purchasing.

Urbanveda Radiance Face Wash 20ml - again a nice product. Would perhaps purchase.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash 100ml - huge fan of the bath oil. This is lovely too.  Got a few minis to use up.

Dr Organic Pomeganate Deodorant 50ml - love this deodorant. Already picked up another.

Dr Bronner Peppermint Magic Pure Castille Soap mini - my favourite Dr Bronner's scent. I have already re-purchased this.  Mainly use it to clean my make up brushes (or the bath!)

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Evening Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml - nice enough to use but prefer Deep Relax or Inner Strength scents.

Omorovicza Gold Hydalift Mask 2ml - a gorgeous mask.  See my review here.

SKINLikes Natural Deodorant 70ml* - one of my favourite deodorants.  See my review here. Know I will buy this effective and nicely scented deodorant again.

kai shampoo 59ml, kai conditioner 59ml and kai perfume oil 3.6ml - absolutely love this scent and would repurchase all in a heartbeat.

Willow Organic Beauty Super Firming Serum 20ml* - loved this! See my review here.

Pampering #4

I was feeling a bit down in the dumps at the weekend so decided to have a long soak in the bath plus some pampering with a face, hair and neck mask.  Here's what I chose:

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil* this is a fab and really effective cleanser! Apply onto the skin massaging it into the skin. Apply some water and it transforms to a milky lotion. Scented with Damask Rose essence it's one of my favourites.

Jamela 24k Gold Neck Mask* - this mask is perfect for revitalising the skin and pampering. This mask contains Mineral Gold, Hyaluronic Acid, plant collagen and rose esssential oil. It is a real luxury mask and leaves the skin moisturised and radiant with fine lines reduced. It can be used in conjunction with Jamela 24k Gold Collagen Face Mask.

urbanveda Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish - a very effective and gentle polish which is nice to use.  It helps to brighten the skin and make it more radiant.

Philip B Katira Hair Masque - this is a really effective masque. It leaves the hair super soft and oh so shiny. I like how you can leave it on overnight too for a deep treatment.

Manuka Doctor Rejuvenating Face Mask - I received this in a trial size kit recently. It's an intensive mask made from bee venom. It can also be used as an intensive moisturiser.  Leave on 15-20 minutes and rinse off.

Neom Refresh Organic Bath & Shower Oil - an uplifting and refreshing bath oil. It always makes me feel happier when I use it in my bath.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR -  This oil is great to use on the body, face and hair. It moisturises the skin and leaves it with a bit of sparkle!

Have you used any of these products?  What are your favourite ones to pamper?

Souk Souk January Beauty Box

My latest Souk Souk box arrived on Saturday.

It contains an urbanveda purifying trio - Exfoliating Face Polish (20ml), Purifying Facial Wash (20ml) and Purifying Day Cream (10ml).  I picked them up from Latest in Beauty for £3.50 recently. See my review here. As I've already used them I'll keep these to giveaway.

Xenca Certified Organic Lipstick 4g (£11.95) in Fudge. Nice to see make up in the box but this is a shade I won't use.

Avril Nail Lacquer in French Rose - again I won't use this as I don't wear polish so I'll gift it.

2 x Pukka Detox Tea bags

Not my favourite box but still good value.  Did you get this box?  What are your thoughts?

urbanveda: Purifying Trial Sizes

I recently picked up some urbanveda trial sizes at Latest in Beauty. Great value at (£3.50 for 2 x 20ml tubes and 1 x 10ml) plus P&P. I recently bought the Radiance Trio as I've been impressed with these ones - they are fab too!

urbanveda is a skincare range which is based on the principles of Ayurveda and are naturally formulated using herbs, flowers, fruits, multi-vitamins and clinically proven actives.

There are three main body types which are known as doshas - Vata, Pitta and Kapha - you can take a little test here to find out your dosha.

The Purifying range contains Neem which is infused with bioactive botanicals of Wild Mint, Eucalyptus and Witch Hazel to detoxify congested skin as well as helping to mattify and refine oil prone skin.  The range has a great scent.

The products are free from SLS, parabens and GM ingredients.

Purifying Daily Facial Wash 20ml (full size 150ml - £7.99) - I've been using this facial wash in the shower in the morning. It cleanses and purifies the skin. I've been having a few outbreaks in my T-zone and I've found this wash has helped clear up blackheads and excess oil.

Purifying Exfoliating Facial Polish 20ml (full size 125ml - £8.99) - this scrub contains natural pumice to deeply cleanse and polish the skin.  I've been using this once or twice a week on my T-zone.  The polish particles are fairly gentle on the skin.

Purifying Day Cream 10ml (full size 50ml - £14.99) - a light and easily absorbed cream. It helps to reduce oil and mattify the T-zone.

I've been enjoying using the range and would recommend it.  Have you used any urbanveda products?
