August Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up in August so here are my August empties. If it's marked * I've kindly been sent the product to review. 

As you'll know I'm a huge fan of Butterwhips. I used up their Traditionally Floral & Exotically Tranquil Body Butters 25g each which were gorgeous. See my review HERE. Would buy again. Escentric Molecules Molecule 03 (30ml) I absolutely love this vertiver scent & have just opened a new one. I used up 2 sample vials - Miller Harris Poirier du Soir which is deliciously fruity & Kenzo Flowers EDT which is sublime. Would buy both full size. Tata Harper Hyaluronic Gel Moisturizer 10ml is perfect for summer. I had the pleasure of trying Scottish brand Deerieo & fell head over heels for their Aurora Face Oil Serum 10ml* review. It's on the wishlist! I simply adore Floral Street's Electric Rhubarb 10ml. I always have a back up! The Oribe duo were fab (Gold Lust Shampoo & Conditioner both 50ml). Really luxurious. I adore this brand!

Organic Youth Skincare Escape Organic Bath & Body Oil 15ml. I truly loved this stunning oil which is scented with Jasmine, Vanilla, Sweet Orange & Sandalwood - review. Buying next month!  It was good to revisit Temple Spa and I loved the La La Lagoon Bath & Shower Gel 30ml. I adore every Dr Hauschka product I try and their Rose Nurturing Bath Essence 100ml* is simply sublime. See my review HERE. It's on the wishlist! Siam Ginger is one of my favourite bath & shower therapy scents from Bodhi & Birch. Sure to buy again soon! I used their Botanic Dew Hand & Body Wash for hands and I love it's uplifting scent. Will buy again (both 200ml). Rounding up my empties this month is Organic Works Lavender Hand Wash 300ml* which is gorgeous. Will buy again at some point. What have you been using up this month?

Naturisimo: Glow Starter Kit

Naturisimo Self Love Discovery Box

You've got to be quick when a Naturisimo Discovery Box lands. This latest one entitled "Self Love" sold out in record time! It's carefully curated and worth £90/cost £20 plus p&p. Of course a full size RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek is always going to excite. I was especially interested in the little deluxe pots from Lola's Apothecary and Susanne Kaufmann.

The set is presented in a reusable box which is tied with a "Naturisimo" branded ribbon. You also get 10% off the product you fall in love with.

It really is a stunning selection!

There's a full size RMS Beauty lip2cheek in lost angel (4.82g - £34) which is a very pretty shade. It's fairly neutral on my lips so I'm hoping it gives a pop of colour to my cheeks.

I'm totally smitten with Susanne Kauffmann's Restorative Toning Body Cream (15ml - £13). It's just a shame a full size pot comes in at £130, even with the discount that's ouchy! It's great to be able to try it however.

Balancing Body Polish in Delicate Romance from Lola's Apothecary looks and absolute delight. Inside is a 15ml (£12). Full size is £33, while in the luxury category definitely affordable for a treat. I've used the matching Body Souffle which is dreamy. See my review HERE.

Can't go wrong with some Tata! Inside is a luxurious 10ml of their Hyaluronic Gel Moisturiser (£20). Full size is £101. So this is a lovely treat. A review to come! I've always been intrigued by 100% Pure's Bright Eyes Mask and inside is a pair which costs £6.

Rounding up the box is a sweet Bamford Geranium Pebble Soap Mini 40g (£4). I've used these before and they're absolutely gorgeous, pampering with a creamy and luxe scented lather.

Naturisimo: Earth Day Exclusive Discovery Box

I can never resist a Naturisimo Discovery Box. I almost squealed out loud when I saw their latest one "Earth Day Discovery Box" contained a travel size of Odacite 552M Argan & Coconut Soap Free Shampoo Bar (35g) as it had been on my want-to-try-soon list (it's fabulous - leaves the hair so silky and soft). As expected, the box is now out-of-stock - you normally have to be so quick for these boxes as they are such great value. This one cost £18.95 and is worth £71!

It's such a great box! 

The orange scented creamy shampoo bar by Odacite is suitable for all hair types, creates a soft foamy lather and leaves the hair feeling clean, hydrated and silky. Expect a review for this one - it's lush!

I'm already a huge fan of BYBI Beauty boosters and their Bakuchiol Booster (15ml - worth £12) is great. See my review HERE.

It's been years since I've had PAI Skincare in my stash so I'm looking forward to re-acquainting myself with their Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil (10ml travel size which is worth £15).

(sorry the photo is a bit blurry) There's a 15ml tube of Tata Harper's Clarifying Cleanser which is foaming (and perfect for morning cleansing). This product is new to me and I'm looking forward to trying it.

The final item is a full size black Natural Definition Mascara from Alima Pure which is worth £20!

A few of these products I've tried before but being a sucker for some new to me products (especially ones which are normally out my price range like the Kjaer Weis) so I just had to pick the box up. Do you think you'll pick one up? Or have you already?

Naturisimo 10th Birthday Discovery Box

Naturisimo created a fabulous discovery box worth £188 and costing only £19.95 for their 10th Birthday (wow how did that happen!) The box has of course now sold out!

The star product for me (and probably a lot of others) is Tata Harper's Elixir Vitale 10ml (which is worth a staggering £116!) A review will follow on this one!

Also inside is new to me brand Agent Nateur. There is a 1.5ml try-me vial of their Holi Oil Refining Youth Serum. Full size costs £113 for 30ml (and will probably never be in my shopping basket) so this is great to try.

From Inlight is a 2ml sachet of their Intensive Line Softner (full size 28ml retails at £78) so again, this is nice to try and gets rave reviews!

From Aromatherapy Associates is 3ml Fine Line Face Oil which I'm looking forward to trying. Huge fan of this lovely brand.

There are 3 products I've used several times before which are great additions to the box - Caudalie's Premier Cru The Cream 15ml, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare's Refine & Polish Miracle Balm 20ml and Madara's SOS Hydra Moisture & Radiance Mask 12.5ml.

The final items are two Neal's Yard Remedies sachet samples - Frankincense Intense Lift Serum 2ml and Frankincense Intense Lift Cream 2g. I've wanted to try these products so these samples are great.

July Empties

Here's what I've been using up in July:

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence 15ml - this came in the recent Naturisimo Sensitive Soul Discovery Box. Lovely to use, really enjoyed it. Would maybe buy full size.

Weleda Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash 20ml* - I love all the Weleda body washes. They are nice to use, creamy and nourishing and come in nice scents. Will definitely buy when my stash reduces a bit.

Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Body Oil 10ml* - again a beautiful product from Weleda. Will buy full size when my body oil stash reduces a bit.

Rituals Ritual of Ayurveda Dry Body Oil 5ml - this came in a Latest in Beauty Box. It's teeny tiny. Seemed nice enough but there are other Rituals scents I prefer.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Firm and Revitalise Dry Body Oil 5ml - have tried this before and loved it. Full size is firmly on the wishlist!

bodhi & birch Rosemary Chi Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - while not my favourite scent from bodhi & birch this is awakening and bracing and I enjoyed using it in my morning shower recently.

Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure Castile Soap 237ml - an absolute staple in my stash. I use it to clean my make up brushes and the bath! 

Givenchy Ready to Cleanse Cleansing Cream in Gel 5ml - this was a Feel Unique sample from their pick n mix range. Nice to use with a floral scent. Might or might not buy.

Sisley Suprema La Nuit 5ml - wow what cream! It costs £475 so will never be in my stash but it was lovely to try and left my skin looking luminous.

Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri EdT 1.2ml - this was a Feel Unique sample pick. Zesty and refreshing I loved it. Full size is on the wishlist!

Skyn Iceland Glacial Facewash 20ml - which was a Latest in Beauty pick. With an Ocean fresh scent and foamy texture it was lovely to use. I'd maybe buy full size.

Anita Grant Organic Rose Body Oil 15ml - nice to use although I thought the neroli oil I used up last month slightly had the edge so wouldn't buy.

Chantecaillie Rose de Mai Cream 10ml - another pricy one so unlikely to buy. My skin loved this rose scented gel. Really beautiful.

Weleda Evening Primrose Revitalising Body Wash 20ml* - nice to use. Hadn't tried this scent before. Would maybe buy.

D’ALCHÉMY Micellar Cleansing Water 30ml** - I'm a huge fan of this lovely brand. See my review HERE. I'd buy this when my stash reduces.

Soap Daze Lemongrass & Patchouli Soap - I'm a sucker for nice soaps so couldn't resist their mini soaps. I've been using them at my wash hand basin and I'm sure they'll last a while. Would buy again however.

O&M Seven Day Miracle Moisture Masque 15ml - a brand I'd been wanting to try for a while. Love their shampoo & conditioners. This masque gave me two uses and left my hair nourished and healthy looking. Would buy full size.

Sisley Hair Rituel Precious Hair Care Oil 1ml - I just loved this! It made short work of frizz and left my hair looking glossy and healthy. Full size is firmly on the wishlist. Loved it.

Sisley Hair Rituel Revitalising Smoothing Shampoo 8ml - lovely to use but unlikely to buy as it's pricey. Was nice to try however.

D’ALCHÉMY Spectacular Hand Therapy 1.5ml** - which I received in July's Love Lula Beauty Box. It's a beauty and full size is firmly on the wishlist.

Sisley Eau Tropicale Moisturising Perfumed Body Lotion - wow this is gorgeous! With a coconut scent the rich lotion deeply nourishes and leaves the skin smelling glorious. Want!

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner 5ml sachets - I've used these before and my hair loves them. Will buy at some point.

Cult Beauty Spring 2017 Goody Bag

As ever Cult Beauty's Spring 2017 Goody Bag, which was worth over £210 and free with a £110 spend sold out in record time. I picked up pressies and two things for me. The goody bag is so good and I'm looking forward to testing everything out.

The two things that I bought:

I really love the Limited Edition boxes Naturisimo offer from time to time. I spotted this one on Tracey's Blog and it seems like they are now Out of Stock! You really have to be quick to grab one.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Discover Size Miracle Cleanser 30ml with Bamboo Cloth which is worth £12. I absolutely love this cleanser. See my review HERE. This is a great size for try me or travel (if I can keep it that long).

I'm a huge fan of Elemental Herbology and it's nice to see a product I've not tried before in the box. Vital Glow Night Resurfacing Cream 15ml resurfaces the skin while stimulating cell turnover so you wake up with healthy and glowing radiant skin (yes please!)

Also inside the box is Caudalie's Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum 10ml which is an oil-free lifting serum which helps lift and firm.

A Tata Harper Moisturising Mask 7.5ml completes the trial size line up. It deeply hydrates leaving the skin looking dewy and luminous.

Cult Beauty: Purchases

Last week it was Cult Beauty's 7th Birthday and they offered numerous money off deals as well as an amazing goody bag with a £95 spend (and the goody bag was worth over £170). I decided I wasn't having it...and of course changed my mind! I chose to buy three products which had been on my wishlist in order to get my hands on that goody bag...

I've only recently become a huge de Mamiel fan having first tried Salvation Body Oil (link) and then the amazing Spring Facial Oil (review) and currently using Summer Facial Oil (which is a total joy..review to come).  So I picked up the de Mamiel Altitude Oil (£26 - 10ml) which is perfect to use for anxiety, travel or if you feel under the weather. Even smelling it straight from the bottle induces feelings of calm - full review to follow.

I also picked up Philip B's luxe Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Creme Rinse (£24 - 178ml). Huge fan of the brand having loved previous products from the range.  I mentioned the Katira Hair Masque here. Looking forward to trying.

My final item is the much longed for May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden (£46 - 100ml) which is simply heavenly and as good as I'd imagined it would be. The scent is exquisite and the mist leaves the skin feeling refreshed and glowy. Love!

lj's Natural Solutions Balancing Organic Moisturiser 8g - this lush geranium scented moisturiser is great for all skin types, absorbing quickly and balancing the skin.

Lush Imogen Rose Solid Perfume 12g - a rosey scent with amber, vetivert and green notes. Great for slipping into a pocket or handbag for some scent on the go.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask sample* - this mask is fantastic! It brightens dull skin leaving it looking refreshed, smooth and radiant. Apply a thin layer onto the skin once a week (you can feel it working straight away!) leaving on for 15-20 minutes or so before rinsing.

Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser

I've been testing out this wonderful Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser (£52 - 125ml* which is available to buy from Naturisimo) and is a new launch. I can quite honestly say it is one of the nicest cleansers I've ever used!

The product is packaged in a sturdy box and presented in a glass pump bottle which makes it easy to dispense the exact amount needed. I was also sent a trial size of the Resurfacing Mask which I'll review soon.

The Tata Harper skincare range is created at Tata's 1,200 acre farm in Vermont where they grow as many ingredients as possible, carry out research and development, formulas and all packaging, marketing and distribution is done there. The products are 100% natural, 65% organic and are vegan.  Free from parabens, PEGs, phthalates, artificial perfumes and colours.  Certified organic by EcoCert and no animal testing.  

The Nourishing Oil Cleanser can be used as a make-up remover or as a cleanser.  It dissolves make up and impurities and leaves the skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. It also has a lovely scent (fruity/floral) and is up there in my top 5 cleansers. It is pricey but this bottle would last at least 6 months.

Make up Remover: apply the oil to a cotton pad and wipe over face and eyes. Follow with your cleanser or second cleanse with the oil.

To cleanse: apply the oil to dry skin (1 pump) massaging into the skin to remove make up and impurities. With wet fingers continue to massage until the oil becomes milky. Rinse with a warmed muslin cloth.

NET-A-PORTER The Holiday Kit

One of my friends on facebook flagged up this amazing beauty box (now sold out) which was available at NET-A-PORTER.COM. Costing only £60 with £5 P&P. I ordered on Wednesday night and it arrived yesterday.

It contains 14 luxury full and travel sizes.  The Earth Tu Face Balm retails for $68 (round about £43). This is a brand I've not heard of before.  So I'm keen to try it out!

The packaging is super luxe, lots of tissue, ribbon and a total joy to open.  I felt like all my Christmasses had come at once!  The box comes with a little tape measure in a branded bag so you can take your measurements before buying clothes online.

Everything comes neatly packed in branded bubble bags (you can also chose to get your goodies in plain brown boxes for easy recycling if you are fed up of the luxe packaging, as if!)

WOW!

Erno Laszlo Phelityl Pre-Cleansing Oil 15ml and Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar mini. I've tried the pre-cleansing oil before and loved it. Keen to try the cleansing bar too.

Renouve Anti-Aging Everyday Defence Hand Sanitiser No.1 - Gold 30ml (£22) - this anti-ageing hand sanitiser is free from alcohol and parabens.

B The Eyebrow Experts Eyebrow Gel - Clear (£15) - great to tame unruly brows. Nourishes and doubles up as a clear mascara.

Verso Day Cream 15ml trial size - rejuvenating day cream which stimulates collagen production and can help to reduce the signs of ageing. Vitamin B3 boosts luminosity.

Tata Harper Rejuventating Serum 15ml (£40) - I've tried a few Tata Harper products but not this serum. It helps to combat signs of ageing, boost elasticity and minimise pores.

ILIA Tinted Lip Conditioner - bang bang (£22) - my first Ilia product. This tinted red sheer lippy is gorgeous!  Very happy.

Earth Tu Face Balm 25g (£43) - another brand I've not heard of before. Great for dehydrated or stressed skin. Smells gorgeous too!

Chantecaille Liquid Lumiere Anti-Ageing Face Illuminator - Sheen 23ml (£33) - can be worn alone or under foundation for a youthful glow and even skin tone.

Show Beauty Divine Thickening Lotion 150ml (£40) - a thickening lotion which adds volume and shine without weighing your hair down. This has super luxe packaging.

Malin+Goetz Vitamin b5 Body Moisturizer 29ml trial size - an intense moisturiser which absorbs quickly hydrating the skin.

De Mamiel Salvation Body Oil 30ml trial size - huge de Mamiel fan so can't wait to try this. Scented with Ylang Ylang, Rosewood and Jasmine. edit: tried and loved! I'm a huge fan of the rosey Lip Balm.

This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray 5ml - great if you have trouble relaxing and are restless throughout the night (me some nights!). Looking forward to testing this out.
