UpCircle Beauty: Soothing Body Cream with Date Seeds

(*I received a blogger discount) As you'll know I'm a huge fan of Upcircle Beauty, having been a fan since their early days as Optait. I adore their Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint. The range is 99% plastic free with plastic free refill options for the 1%. See my previous reviews HERE and HERE.

I recently picked up their Vegan (and plastic free - boxed with a glass jar and aluminium lid, which is easy to recycle/reuse and with a nod to #plasticfreejuly) Award Winning Soothing Body Cream with Date Seeds (125ml - £24.99) which has a light fluffy texture, a bit like just whipped cream. It absorbs instantly leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, hydrated and smelling fresh.

The body cream is formulated with Shea Butter, Linseed and Olive Oil as well as left over date seeds, a by product of date farming and has a citrus/herbal aroma (lemon peel oil + rosemary leaf oil).

To use: apply AM and/or PM to clean skin. Massage until absorbed.

I've loved using this fluffy and uplifting luxe cream which deeply nourishes dry skin. What are your favs from the brand?

Top Products 2021: January to March

Products which are marked * I was very kindly gifted for review. Last year I broke up my "top" stuff into manageable chunks rather than yearly and decided to do the same this year. This is a rather long post so grab that cuppa or glass of wine!

I dropped numerous hints to hubby that I'd love The Nue Co's Functional Fragrance which is available to buy at Naturisimo. See my review HERE (their newish Forest Lungs Fragrance is on the wishlist).

I fell head-over-heels and then some for ila spa's glorious The Big Sleep Bath Salts* which I reviewed as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger in January. See my post HERE. These are the ones to get for r&r!

Beauty Cleanse Skincare Mean Green Superfood Drops & Carrot Algae Marine Drops* which are multi-use and fantastic. See my review HERE. Founder, Saman is currently crowdfunding - see more info HERE to launch a Superfood-Powered Multipurpose Face Mask which will brighten, refine pores, soften, detoxify, hydrate and offer an antioxidant boost - sounds like an absolute must have!

I love everything from Evolve Organic Beauty. Their newish Super Berry Body Oil* is just sublime. See my review HERE.

And then, I fell head-over-heels for Love Absolute's Mulberry Milk Jelly Cleanser, which quite honestly is one of the most joy giving products I've ever used (I love the easily re-usable packaging too). See my review HERE.

Silvan Skincare Balance Face Cream is just sublime. I'm a huge fan of the brand having tried a few of their balms in the past. See my review HERE.

I initially tried the Dr Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Cream* in their Advent Calendar which I partly received as my November pick as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger and fell head-over-heels - see HERE. I loved it so much I selected it and the matching Bath Essence* as my February picks. See HERE.

I received Balm Balm's Lavender Face Balm in January's Love Lula Beauty Box* and fell hard. I've now got a couple in my stash thanks to lovely friends - you know who you are! See my review HERE.

Reacquainting myself with UpCircle Beauty (I've always been a fan of their peppermint coffee scrub from their early days). I'm now a huge, huge fan of the skincare line. Check out my review HERE.

Dr Hauschka Moor Lavender Calming Body Oil (which I first tried via the aforementioned Advent Calendar). I loved it so much I bought full size as it's instantly calming. See my review HERE.

Of course I had to have an Antipodes latest launch! As soon as I saw it land at Naturisimo it was in my basket! Check out my review HERE. It's truly gorgeous.

Tam Mason's Nourishing Sugar Hand Scrubs had been on my wishlist. I took the plunge recently and fell head-over-heels. Check out my review HERE. I've recently been sent one of their new sugar Body Scrubs* which I'm sure already will feature in my next favs!

Another product I can't imagine not being in my stash....always is Nudge Boutique's May Chang & Pink Grapefuit Whipped Body Butter. It has the perfect scent to uplift both the body and mind as well as being a luxe and affordable treat. Check out my review HERE.

I truly love all the products* I chose as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for March. Check out my review HERE. They uplifted me so much with their scents+textures and made me happy. One already has been a re-purchase!

Neal's Yard Remedies Frankincense Intense Cleansing Melt had been on the wishlist. I was happy to receive this 30ml in a Naturismo Discovery Box. Check out my review HERE. One of the best cleansers I've used.

Rounding up my January to March top picks is Balance Me's fantastic BHA Exfoliating Concentrate* which I reviewed HERE.

Mint Green February Starter Kit

I came across Mint Green on Instagram and went to explore the site which stocks green beauty brands such as Anatome, French Girl Organics, Grown Alchemist, Lena Wild and Plenaire, to name a few. You'll find Vegan, Organic, Natural & Recyclable brands nestling on the online shelves which have been hand picked by the founders. The box your order is packaged in is easily recycled or reusable and the mailing bag is made from corn starch which is compostible (and you'll also get 10% off your first order).

I picked the February Starter Kit, which is worth over £70 and costs £14.99 plus p&p. Inside are nine brands with five that are new to me.

And for a closer look..

BeYou Monthly Patches x 5 (£7.99) (Vegan, Natural, Organic, Recyclable) - this is a new to me brand and the patches can be used instead of a hot water bottle to relieve everyday pains such as period pains and other niggling pains on the body. They're 100% natural and are made from fast acting steam distilled eucalyptus and peppermint derived menthol oils which create a unique cooling tingle and provide up to 12 hours of relief. Looking forward to testing them out!

EcoLiving The Environmental Toothbrush (£2.90) (Vegan) - the whole toothbrush is plant based - bristle, handle and box!

Bondi Wash Fruit & Vege Wash 50ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - this is not something I'd use but it's an interesting concept! It'll remove bacteria, chemicals, waxes and pesticides from fruit and vegetables.

Doers of London is a new to me brand and inside is their "It starts at the Top" Shampoo 50ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - this has a creamy texture and will balance and clean the hair. Looking forward to trying it.

Another new to me brand (although I've heard of it) is L:A Bruket Hand & Body Wash Sage/Rosemary/Lavender 60ml (Vegan) which has an intense herbal aroma. It'll leave the skin clean and hydrated.

There are 3 sachets from Goldfaden MD Doctors Scrub 5ml, Bright Eyes 3ml (used this before and loved) and Vital Boost 5ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable) - a polish, a moisturiser and an eye cream which help to enliven and brighten.

Also inside is a Pamper Kit from UpCircle (I've used their Facial Serum 1.5ml before and my skin loved it), the others in the kit are new to me - Cleansing Face Balm 3ml, Face Moisturiser 3ml and Face Toner 3ml (Vegan, Natural, Recyclable). The Pamper kit is designed as a try-me.

Rounding up the kit is Dr Lipp CBD Calm Balm 4ml (Natural) which can be used on dry patches. It contains 50MG of broad spectrum CBD which calms and soothes.

The final item in the set is full size! Inside is Q+A Peptide Serum 30ml (£9) (Vegan, Natural) which regenerates and helps to keep your skin looking youthful. I'm looking forward to trying this out!

It's a great kit and excellent value for money (I also love trying new to me brands & products) Have you bought anything from Mint Green lately?

UpCircle Beauty: You Brew-ty Pamper Kit + Chai Soap Double Trouble

UpCircle Beauty formerly known at Optait (I loved their Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint, and I'm relived to see it's still there!) have had a revamp and name change (and I'm loving the new packaging and name!)

I recently bought You Brew-ty Pamper Kit (£5.99) which is the perfect try me size/for travel and Chai Soap Double Trouble (which is currently reduced from £13.98 to £9.99).

Inside the pamper kit is sample sizes of the Body Scrubs, the Face Scrubs and the Face Serum (8g x Body Scrub - Peppermint, Lemongrass & Tangerine, 8g x Face Scrub - Floral, Herbal, Citrus plus 2ml sachet of Organic Face Serum).

Obviously I adore the Peppermint Body Scrub but the star of the pack was for me the new Award Winning Organic Face Serum with Coffee Oil which gave my skin a beautiful nourishing glow! Full size is of course on the wishlist!

The soaps are creamy, spicy and gently exfoliating (and did I say, their scents are incredible - chai and herbal tea springs to mind - they are of course made with residual chai spices) The soaps are long lasting and keep their shape, are 100% natural and suitable for use on the face and body.

I've been loving what I've recently tried. What are your favourites from UpCircle Beauty?
