A Closer Look: Shampoo & Conditioner

It's been a while since I've done one of these posts. These are my current Shampoos and rinse out Conditioners in my stash.

NHP Natural Haircare Programme Nourish Hair Bath 250ml* and Nourish Hair Mask 300ml* - these are really nice products.  See my review here. Ones I'd definitely consider buying.

The Body Deli Living Hair Sprouted Mineral Greens Shampoo* & Conditioner* both 8oz - simply love these and will definitely buy when I run out.  See my review here.

EVOLVh Ultra Shine Moisture Shampoo* & Conditioner* both 75ml - these came in June's Petit Vour Beauty Box*. A brand I hadn't heard of before. These are Vegan, Gluten and Paraben free.  Handy size for travel and try me. Love how shiny and smooth they leave my hair looking and feeling.

John Masters Organics Lavender & Rosemary Shampoo for Normal Hair 30ml - this came in July's Love Lula Beauty Box. Huge fan of this brand and enjoying using this shampoo - in fact I've love every hair product I've tried.

Holy Lama Shampoo & Conditioner both 30ml - these came in July's Souk Souk Beauty Box. I've still to try these.

Redken Nature's Rescue Refreshing Detox Shampoo 200ml - I love this shampoo for getting rid of styling product build up and use it once a week. See my review here.

Palmers Coconut Repairing Shampoo 400ml and Conditioner 250ml - deliciously coconut scented products. Love that the shampoo is bigger than the conditioner as I always tend to finish shampoo before conditioner. See my review here.

Palmers Coconut Oil Haircare Range

I first spotted Palmer's Coconut Range on The Black Pearl blog and knew I wanted to try them. The range doesn't contain any sulfates or parabens. I was unable to locate them instore at Superdrug so bought them online and picked them up at my nearest store.

Coconut Oil Repairing Shampoo (400ml - £3.99) - a rich and moisturising shampoo which lathers up well and is enriched with coconut oil and Vitamin E. It leaves the hair clean, healthy and smelling delicious.

Coconut Oil Repairing Conditioner (250ml - £3.99) - a nourishing conditioner which contains coconut oil, keratin and pathenol which smoothes and repairs dry and damaged hair. It leave hair silky smooth and frizz free. Leave on for 5-6 minutes for deeper conditioning.

Coconut Oil Replenishing Hair Milk (250ml - £4.99) - this leave in hair lotion is formulated with coconut milk and coconut oil.  It is a lightweight lotion which detangles and smoothes flyaway hair. Good for sleek styles or to define curls. This is a leave in product.

Coconut Oil Formula Protein Pack (60g - £1.99) - a deep conditioning hair mask. Use once a week for an intensive treatment. It contains coconut milk and oil and Vitamin E. It restores dry and damaged hair leaving it deeply conditioned and smooth as well as smelling divine!

Coconut Oil Formula Strong Roots Spray (150ml - £3.45) - this spray invigorates and refreshes the scalp and is good if you suffer from tightness or itchiness.  Again it contains coconut oil to strengthen and add shine along with eucalpytus extract and pure peppermint to stimulate circulation.

My favourites are the shampoo, conditioner and mask.

Body Lotion Spending Ban!

I've put myself on a body lotion/butter/oil spending ban (and all other beauty products apart from Carmine, She Said Beauty and Joliebox.  Amarya (I have until September as I paid this for a year) and any essentials I may need).

I was a bit cheeky yesterday and bought L'Occitane Cherry Princess Silky Body Gel - like I need another body lotion - when you see the photo below! A limited edition scented with cherries and floral notes - (I recently received a free sample instore and fell in love).  Its got a light silky texture and melts into the skin leaving the skin delicately scented.  There is an extra-special Limited Edition set available containing 50ml EDT, 250ml Shower Cream, 75ml  Body Gel and 30ml Hand Cream all for £39.  You can see the set here.

Below are the body products I want to use up this year.  I have nearly finished the Neutrogena Body OilNivea lotion and Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream.

Other half doesn't understand why I need so many! I do like a choice (plus I have a few more hidden away - oops).  This post was inspired by The Bristol Beauty Blog and Cosmetic Cravings.

What beauty products do you have too many of?
