YOU Beauty Discovery Box - November 2015

I picked up November's YOU Beauty Discovery Box (£6.95 inc P&P) as I thought the products on offer this month were fab.

The first one which jumped out at me was Mitchell & Peach Flora No.1 Fine Radiance Face Oil 10ml (20ml - £30) making this worth £15 and a great value treat. The oil has a delicious scent (rose, lavender, ylang ylang) and helps to plump up the skin, firm and make it glowy. So looking forward to trying this. Expect a full review soon.

As I'm a huge fan of Dr Organic I knew my second item had to be their Royal Jelly Eye Serum (15ml - £9.49). This serum absorbs quickly and has a delicate honey scent. It helps with fine lines, reducing puffiness and dark circles as well as firming and nourishing. Again, looking forward to testing this out.

The extras are a DHC Alpha-Arbutin White Mask a single use sheet mask which help fight dullness and discolouration.  It also helps with ageing and any sun exposure. Fold over flaps allow you to treat the eye area too.

The second extra is I love...Perfectly Peachy Bath & Shower Creme sachet (10ml)

These are my samples for week 5 and my thoughts are below.  My little sample box is very slowly going down.

Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator 3ml sachet - have used this before and love this very gentle rose scented scrub.  It's one I'd purchase again.

Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation in Wheat 1.5ml sachet - loved this, the texture, smell, coverage and feel on my skin.  The colour suited me too.  I'd definitely consider purchasing it.

Sanctuary 30 Day Thermal Transformation - two sachets - Peptide Transformation Serum 1.5ml and Thermal Rose Clay Mask 7ml - put the serum on your face and neck and then massage on the mask - which gives a warming sensation - its fab! I'd definitely think about buying this but at the moment got loads of masks to use up.

TRESemme Split Remedy 3 x 10ml sachets - shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment - loved the shampoo and conditioner.  Found the treatment a bit heavy for my hair.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum 2ml - love Caudalie products.  This was nice to use but as such a small sample hard to see if it had made a difference.

Sk:n Moisturising Cream SPF 30 3ml sachet - loved this.  Definitely want to look more into the sk:n range.

Thalgo Thalgomince Cream 5ml sachet - this came from the recent Latest in Beauty Box.  Seemed nice enough but too small a sachet to really test the product.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 1.5ml sachet - again small sachet but I've bought this product before and really like it.

Caudalie Vinexpert Eye & Lip Serum 1.5ml - really liked this serum would perhaps purchase.

My favourite Bath Products

The above are my current favourite (liquid) bath products.

My ultimate bath oil is Bamford Geranium Bath Oil which retails at £38 for 250ml - ouch!  I first received this bath oil as a Latest in Beauty luxury sample as mentioned here.  The next time I got it was with a Naturisimo offer.  I then got two in the YOU box from Latest in Beauty. (I bought two boxes as I fell in love with all the products the box contained).  I have also obtained a few in swaps and on blog sales - you can tell I'm addicted to this product!  I am sure I'll end up buying the full size eventually. It bubbles slightly and the scent is amazing! (geranium, lavender & peppermint).  Great to use before bed or after a workout as it is a really relaxing blend and makes me feel totally chilled out.

Another new favourite bath oil is Harmonising Bath Oil from G Baldwin & Co.  Scented with oils of Lavender, Marjoram and Geranium.  A 25ml size was a free gift with my first purchase.  I'd definitely repurchase this.  Retails at £5.65 for 100ml making it great value.

I always come back to Clarins Relax Bath & Shower Concentrate as its so soothing and relaxing.  This was a GWP size but I'll definitely purchase full size at some point.  200ml retails at £17.

I love... Raspberry & Blackberry Bubble Bath with retails at £2.05 for a 500ml bottle - a real bargain with a lovely fruity scent and great bubbles!


Must have a little bit of Lush - these are my favourites - Magic Wand (I stocked up on a few to last me all year at the sales after Christmas) and Madame Butterfly - which has the same scent as Rosejam bubbleroon which I love.
