March Empties

Here's what I've been using up in March:

Briogeo Repair Shampoo & Conditioner (both 59ml) - I received these in a set with a fabulous Leave-In Conditioning Spray (from my friend Julie at Christmas). I liked both the products and I'll maybe repurchase at some point in the future (I'd probably say I preferred the Conditioner to the Shampoo).

Narloa Jasmine & Neroli Body Oil 125ml - I just loved this beautiful body oil. See my review HERE. It also featured in my Top Brands & Products of '17. Sure to pick it up again when my body care product stash reduces a bit!

Bodhi & Birch Mint Thé Bath & Shower Therapy 200ml - this is one of my all time favourite B&B shower scents. I know I'll re-purchase at some point. See my review HERE

Bodhi & Birch Neroli Luce Revitalising Face Oil 15ml - I love the exquisitely scented facial oil coming into late spring and summer. Sure to pick it up again and soon!

Jane Scrivner Firm Believer Definitive Body Serum 100ml* - which I loved (every Jane Scrivner product I've tried I've loved!) A rich and luxurious skin firming body serum which I really enjoyed using. See my review HERE. This one's on the to-buy list!

Pureology Hydrate Conditioner 250ml - which performed really well. I really like this brand and I'd buy this again.

Lola's Apothecary Breath of Clarity Bath & Shower Oil mini - I've tried this before and loved it. Full size is on the wishlist.

Aldi Reed Diffuser No.1 Lime, Basil & Mandarin - very impressed with this diffuser from Aldi. The scent is really lovely and the whole package (glass pot and diffuser reeds) looks great. Will buy again for sure.

KINN Beauty Body Oil 100ml** - I loved everything about this beautiful award winning range. See my thoughts on it HERE. I'll definitely buy this when my stash reduces a bit. Just love.

Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil sample - which came in my recent "In the Name of the Rose" beauty subscription. Oh yes, full size is on the wishlist!

Dr Teals Pure Epsom Salts Lavender 1lb - these made for a super relaxing bath and I had the best sleep ever afterwards. Will definitely pick these up again.

Dr Bronner's Orange & Lavender Lotion sample - this lotion absorbed instantly leaving the skin delicately scented. I really liked this and I'd buy full size when my stash reduces.

Botanico Vida Omega Oil 3 x 3ml sachets*** - this skin loving oil is gorgeous! I've just been sent a full size bottle so a review will be coming!

ALDI Cosmetics

I've lately been really impressed with the ALDI skincare and bodycare products I've tried. Affordable and effective. I especially love the Lacura Caviar Illumination day and night creams (review) and the Argan Oil range (review).

From the 17 April you will be able to pick up items from the new cosmetic range. I was sent a selection to try and have been really impressed with their performance and value.

The Lacura Eyeliner Pencils* will be £1.99 and available in Emerald (gorgeous), Black and Smoke. There is a handy blending brush on the other end. The colours are long lasting and easy to apply with no dragging.

The Lacura Eyebrow Pencil* (with shaping brush) will also be £1.99 and come in a choice of blonde and brunette.

I've been really impressed with the quality and performance of the Lacura Concealer Pen* (£2.99). It easily blends away dark shadows and other imperfections. There will be three shades to suit sandy, rosy and darker complexions. I was sent shade 300 Amber which is near enough the perfect shade for me.

Also available to buy will be: Lacura Glossy Lip Balm (£1.99) in Red, Peach and Fresh Pink and Lacura 3-D Effect Mascara (£2.39) in Black which give fullness, volume, curve and length.

Pick yours up at Aldi from Sunday 17 April.

Update: ALDI Lacura Caviar Illumination Day & Night Creams

I was recently sent some products from ALDI's Lacura Argan Oil* & Caviar Illumination* ranges. See my thoughts HERE. I've now been using the Caviar day and night creams for a few weeks and I can honestly say they are great value for money as well as being very effective.

The packaging (especially of the night cream in it's heavy glass pot is very similar to that of La Prairie).

Both creams are quite rich although absorb quickly leaving the skin feeling nourished and uplifted. They have a pleasant slightly floral scent.

The day cream has the added benefit of SPF15 while the addition of snow algae (in all products) helps to promote collagen production in the skin. The addition of Caviar, a powerful anti-ageing ingredient nourishes, plumps, gives the skin a glowy look and helps with restructuring.  The night cream works it's wonders overnight leaving your skin supple and smooth when you awaken.

I've been so impressed with these creams both performance wise and price (a bargainous £6.99 for a 50ml pot). I know I'll definitely be picking these up again.

Buy yours at ALDI.

Budget Beauty: Aldi Lacura Argan Oil & Caviar Illumination Ranges

Aldi have some great skincare and bodycare ranges (I've recently spotted a Grape range which is free from parabens, silicons, mineral oils and also free from artificial colours). Next time I'm in Aldi I'm definitely checking it out!

Their Organic Argan Oil range is launching again for a limited time on 21 February. The range costs from £1.79 to £2.99 so it is very easy on the pocket.

I've been testing out the Nurturing Shower Gel (£1.79) which gently cleanses the skin, Anti-ageing Body Lotion (£1.79) which you can actually feel firming and nourishing the skin as you use it, Anti-ageing Hand Cream (£1.79) which nourishes leaving the hands feeling soft and moisturised and Carino Cream Treatment (£2.99) which is suitable for all hair types but is especially good for smoothing down frizzy hair leaving it shiny, smooth and healthy. The products have a pleasant floral scent and work very well. My favourite is the Carino Cream Treatment.

I'm also testing out the Caviar Illumination Day and Night Creams (£6.99 each). I used to use La Prairie so I'm keen to see how they compare. I'll review these at a later date.

What's your favourite beauty product from Aldi?
