April: Lately I've been Loving

Items marked with * I've been gifted for review. I've been loving the sunny days which April has brought as well as:

N.dulge birthday treats as a SpaceNK cardholder. It's the little things which make you smile. I've been enjoying testing my April Birthday treats out.

A one-off or subscription from Cosy Wee Reads. See what book was in that package HERE.

A little keyring which made me smile from Sam, a colleague and friend at work for my birthday (you'd never guess we are both gin lovers!)

Beautiful soaps from The Soap Mine which are very long lasting. These ones smell beautiful. Reviews up very soon!

I've totally fallen head-over-heels for Inner Senses Greenhouse Tomato & Carrot Seed Oil Cleanser (love that you can now pick up minis which are perfect for try-me or travel). The scent is sun ripened tomatoes and so uplifting! Beautiful! Expect a review soon.

The stunning Tom Daxton 13 Vial Complete Collection set which hubby bought me for my birthday (I did drop some hints!). So far, I've fallen head over heels for Resin Sacra and Sicilian Wood.

I received this cute little Anna Wright coin purse and Burt's Bees cuticle butter from a friend, Gillian for my birthday. It's ever so sweet and makes me smile.

I embarked on a Spring Cleanse* with Weleda this month. You can see my initial post HERE.

I was ever so chuffed to be Love Lula's most helpful blogger member on their Facebook group and below are the items I chose. Reviews to come!

I was sooo pleased to feature in Top Sante's My Super Six series (May issue - out now!)

I'd bought some of Claire's products before and couldn't resist a wee lucky bag (limited edition run of 15 bags for £15). I was thrilled that I managed to nab one.

What have you been loving this month?

Feel Unique: Pick 'n' Mix: August 2016

My August selection arrived from Feel Unique yesterday. See what I chose last month here. You can choose yours here paying £3.95 to cover P&P - you get this back via a code sent by email to spend on your next purchase.

Kadalys Musalis First Wrinkles Day Cream with Green Banana 5ml - which is suitable for all skin types and addresses first signs of wrinkles. It will plump up the skin and hydrate.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm 5g - I've used this cleansing balm before and loved it. I'll be taking this one on my travels.

Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream 5ml - huge fan of the brand and this is a luxe trial size. (I just checked the Feel Unique website and a full size cream costs £110!) The cream nourishes and strengthens the skin while you sleep.

CULT51 Immediate Effects Serum 3ml - a super serum "which works in conjunction with your own skin cells; stimulating collagen, elastin and cellular regeneration". It targets fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and skin imperfections. Use it around the eyes and on expression lines.

By Terry Liftessence Eye Contour 2g - I've not tried much by the brand and am always looking for the perfect eye product. It will help reduce puffiness and dark circles, firming and tightening the eye area.

Latest in Beauty - YOU Anti-Ageing Discovery Box

The Latest in Beauty YOU magazine Anti-Ageing Discovery box is just fabulous!  Costing just £8.95 plus P&P.

Included is:

L'Occitane Divine Cream 3ml - a Beauty Bible Award Winner.  I'm not keen on the scent of this one so have arranged a swap.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift & Sculpt Skin Plumping Serum 10ml - have used this before, a fab product in a great range.

This Works Enjoy Multi-Tasking Lotion 30ml - love the This Works range and this smells divine - with rose and geranium.  Can be used on body and face.

Eve Lom Rescue Mask 15ml - only tried the cleansing balm from this range so looking forward to using this one.

Perricone MD Advanced Face Firming Activator 15ml - from a brand I've heard of but never tried any products from.  I've started using this in conjunction with the Face Finishing Moisturiser luxury sample I got from the Cult Beauty freebie.

Decleor Aroma Cleanse Hydra-radiance Smoothing & Cleansing Mousse 15ml - I am testing this full size product for Beauty Bible - its fantastic!  This will be a great size for holidays/weekends away.

Fushi Organic Anti-Wrinkle Lip Balm 10ml - really nice product, spa like and orange scented. Love it!  You can read more about it and other products in the range here.

CosmetoFruit Face Anti-Ageing Defence 30ml - tried this previously, will probably give this one a go too.

Did you get the box?  What are your thoughts?

Beauty Boxes - my buy again products (2011)

I have found all the brands above via the beauty boxes (apart from the Emma Hardie cleansing balm which I'd tried before - and love!).

October - Feel Unique

Tigi Catwalk Sleek Mystique Blow Out Balm - absolutely love this, makes hair so smooth and smells so nice.

Caudalie Radiance Day Fluid - love this, have since bought full size (and got small size pictured here in a gift pack).

October - Boudoir Prive

Korres Citrus Little Moisturising Body Milk - lovely light lotion with lemon scent.

Leonor Greyl Huile de Palme - if I had to choose one favourite from the boxes it would be this.  You can read my review here.  I'm definitely going to check out other items in the range.  I have also stocked up on this via swaps on Beauty Box Swaps on Facebook.

October - Glossybox

Stila Smudge Waterproof Eyeliner in Moray - lovely shade (olive green) with gold fleck and great staying power.

November - Feel Unique

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm - already loved this so welcome addition to the November box.

Loved the Prady Candy EDP sample vial and was lucky to get the full size at Christmas.

November - Glossybox

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer - already loved this product, welcome addition to the box.

Illamasqua Freak EDP sample vial - love, finished it. (no pic).

November - Boudoir Prive

Korres Wild Rose 24 hour moisturiser - really moisturising with light scent.

Rahua Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner sachets - really loved this product but wouldn't pay full size price (£27/£28) so always on the lookout for sachets.

December - Feel Unique

Annick Goutal Mandragore EDT - would never have picked this scent but love the fresh, fruity minty scent and a huge 25ml.

December - Glossybox

Cargo Lipgloss - I got Paris in my box (since acquired Morocco and Tokyo via Beauty Box Swaps).  Really great lipgloss, great colour and feels smooth on the lips and not sticky.

December - Joliebox (formerly Boudoir Prive)

Kusmi Detox Tea - delicious!

I loved trying just about all the items in the boxes.  The ones above are my favourites. If you want to read more about the product - check out the blog posts month by month. x

Feel Unique - November Box

I was excited to pick up my Feel Unique beauty box this morning from the Post Office.  I already knew what I was receiving having peeked at other blog posts.

"Primed to Party" - Sparkle and Shine through the Party Season....

I was really pleased with this box. (The only item I won't use is 30ml Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Weekly Self-Tan in Dark - if anyone wants this, let me know and I'll post it to them).

I have already used the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm (15ml).  Its a fab product so happy to receive.  Also included is an Emma Hardie Cleansing Cloth.

There is a full size Schwarzkopf Dust-it Mattifying Powder which gives incredible volume.  Its a powder which you rub in your hands until it turns into a cream (!).  You then apply to dry hair - sounds interesting and can't wait to try!

Goldwell 60sec gel treatment for ultra-volume 50ml.  Really like Goldwell products so keen to try.  This is a rinse out product.

Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in Harmony - a bronzey gold colour which you can use on your eyes, with your lip gloss, as a blusher, bronzer, hair highlighter and mascara.

Finally, a 1.5ml sample spray of Prada Candy EDP.  Happy to get this as an extra as love trying new perfumes.

Will follow this post up once I try the products out.  Great value at £9.95 including postage.  As with last month there is a code for 10% off all products in the beauty box BBNOV10.

October Empties

I seem to have got through loads this month!  Though I was using up a lot of the last wee bits of some of the products.

Caudalie (three of the products from the set first mentioned here.

Fleur de Vigne Shower Gel 30ml - soap free so no lather, was okay to use and smelt nice but wouldn't purchase again.

Gentle Conditioning Shampoo 30ml - no lather. Didn't feel like my hair was clean so wouldn't repurchase.

Anti-Wrinkle Fluid 4ml - freebie thrown in - was ok, wouldn't purchase full size.

Vinexpert Radiance Day Fluid SPF 10 - 15ml - this was from October's Feel Unique box.  I loved this product (and have re-purchased).

Vinoperfect Enzymatic Peel Mask 3ml - this was a free sample, one use and liked the fact that it didn't sting my skin.  Would look into re-purchasing next time I need a mask.

Kerastase Bain Chroma Riche - Luminous Softening Shampoo 80ml - used this on my two week hols and just finishing it up.  Love Kerastase so would re-purchase.

Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash 125ml - this was a free gift with Red magazine.  Smells like Turkish delight - scented with Rose Otto, Palmarosa & Geranium.  Love this would definitely re-purchase.  Full size of 260ml retails at £12.25.  Free from parabens, sulphates etc.

Deep Steep Tangerine & Melon Bubble Bath 60ml - this was an okay product - and one that I  got free with purchase.  Not one I'd re-purchase.

Balm Balm Witch Hazel Toner - 100ml - sort of enjoyed using this but wouldn't purchase again as it contains alcohol.  I prefer toners which are more natural.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream 30ml - love, love, love this cream but only buy it in value gift sets from QVC, Time to Spa or instore.  Eyewatering price for the full size product.

Clarins Satin Smooth Body Lotion with Sorbier Bud 100ml - This is a generous Gift with Purchase size.  I loved the lotion but hated the smell.  So wouldn't re-purchase.

Avon Naturals Black Cherry & Nutmeg Room & Linen Spray 125ml - like this scent and its cheap!  Usually buy with the hand wash when there is a offer on.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm 15ml - this was part of a set from SpaceNK.  Lovely product and smells great, full size costs £34 for 100ml so one to save up for.  Would definitely re-purchase although I'd shop around for best price.

Clinque All About Eyes Serum - 5ml - this was a GWP size, nice product and felt quite cooling on the eye area not sure if I'd re-purchase or not.

Bath House Relaxing White Tea & Rose Bath Salts 60g - £3.99.  This smelt better in the sachet than in the bath so won't repurchase.

No.7 Sumptuous Bath Soak 200ml - nice enough product, bought with a Boots £5 off voucher.  Wouldn't buy at full price as just didn't like it enough.

Pure Age Defiance Wipes - 2 packs for £1 Poundland - Lucy Brown (of Beauty Box Swaps on Facebook) recommended these wipes and they are great - they don't sting at all and are so cheap.  I don't use them all the time but sometimes only a wipe will do!

Dr Hauschka Revitalising Mask 2.5ml sachet - quite liked this product, felt nice on the skin, may purchase when I need a face mask.

Avon Hand Wash - Great price and does the job.

Armani Light Master Primer 30ml - great product and lasts for absolutely ages. May re-purchase in the future.

L'Occitane Verbena Shampoo & Conditioner each 30ml - received in a gift set, nice products and enjoyed using but unsure if I'd purchase.

Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil 10ml - quality product but had quite a strange smell so don't think I'd purchase again.

NEOM Real Luxury Organic Body Lotion 50ml - this came in the Amarya October box.  Liked the lotion but not the scent.  Would possibly re-purchase in a different scent.

Bamford Botanics Trio - Geranium Bath Oil (30ml), Geranium Body Wash (50ml) & Geranium Body Lotion (50ml) - £5  Luxury samples from Latest in Beauty.  Would buy the bath oil again but not the body wash or lotion as they smelt too herbal (they also contain oils of peppermint and lavender). Although I'd be keen to try them in a different scent as they were good quality products.

Goldwell Rich Repair Shampoo 250ml & Rich Repair 60sec Treatment 200ml - bought at the hairdresser at special price.  Think it was £8 for both.  Nice and lasted ages.  Would re-purchase.

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Lait - Lipid Replenishing Body Milk 15ml - quite a nice product would consider purchasing full size especially for dry skin. (this was bought in a sample pack of 32 assorted samples for £10 from http://www.escentual.com/ in the try B4 you buy section - they also send you a voucher code by email for £10 off a product from the range, so you are getting the samples for free, and I also bought when they were offering free postage).

Champneys Wild Rose Bathing Oil with Turkish Rose Otto 75ml - bought this in a 3 for 2 offer at Boots.  Smells lightly of rose and goes milky on hitting the bathwater.  Definitely one I'd re-purchase.

Would you buy any of these/or do you use any of them already?  What did you use up in October?
