True Nature Botanicals: Pacific Soothing Face Oil & Face Serum

I've been testing out new launches at True Nature Botanicals Pacific Soothing Face Oil (30ml - $110 - £72)* and Soothing Face Serum (30ml - $140 - £92)* over the past few weeks.

The products are "serious luxury" with "superior results" which I can quite honestly agree with! No expense is spared when it comes to ingredients as the most effective ingredients are used which are sourced from suppliers who also care about the quality. Product are natural and are free from chemicals, waxes, water and nut oils.  Hillary Peterson the founder is passionate about creating the most luxurious and effective products.

Pacific Soothing Face Oil moisturises and calms sensitive ageing skin leaving the skin radiant with wrinkles softened and nourished.  The oil is perfect for rosacea prone, over exfoliated and sun-exposed ageing skin.

It's packed full of ingredients which calm and care for the skin including Helichrysm and Blue Chamomile which calms, is anti-inflammatory and skin healing. Pomegranate Seed Oil is a rich and deeply nourishing oil with high levels of anti-oxidants which fight free radicals and skin ageing.

Grape Seed and Hemp Oils are rich in Vitamin F which are anti-inflammatory, healing and calming.  The oil is 99% organic. To use: shake and massage a few drops on the face, neck and chest after toning.

Use Pacific Soothing Face Serum straight after the face oil applying a thin layer to the face, neck and chest. The serum soothes and nourishes and contains extracts from Mushroom, Chamomile, Calendula and Plantago. The serum helps to reduce inflammation and calm the skin and is 45% organic.

The duo are of an extremely high quality and a pleasure to use. They leave my skin glowy, healthy and nourished.

Spring Scents

These are the scents I'm currently enjoying:

Laboratory Perfumes Gorse No.002 EDT - I just love this coconutty and fresh scented perfume. See my review here.  True Nature Botanicals Noble Floral Solid Perfume* - this floral is divine. With notes of rose, jasmine, tuberose and citrus. It is super feminine and oh so pretty!  See my review here

An old favourite is Jo Malone's Grapefruit cologne - I love its fresh and light fruity scent (I like combining it with Lime, Basil & Mandarin or Red Roses). I've been loving these two scents from Shay & Blue - Blood Oranges which is super fruity, juicy and slightly sweet and Almond Cucumber a light and refreshing scent.

What perfumes are you using right now?

November: Lately I've been Loving

These are the things which have been making me smile this month:

I picked up some delicious cinnamon shortbread and a super yummy homemade chocolate bar studded with seeds, fruit and Calendula petals from Pinnies & Poppy Seeds (well worth a visit if you are in Edinburgh).  I'll be visiting again...and soon!  You can see the shortbread flavours here.

I received this extra special gift* from Bee Good which was sent to bloggers for their support throughout the year. It made me smile...lots! The little bee Christmas decoration is the cutest thing. I'm looking forward to hanging up the pretty stocking, and having toast with my honey, eating the bee embossed chocolate and making sure my lips are smooth and nourished with the very gorgeous Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm.  You can purchase the Christmas Bee Pampered Gift set here which comes with beauty goodies and delicious biscuits! - see my review of it here*.

I've been going to watch the football and rugby more often lately. Makes for a fun afternoon out (especially if we win!)  Here are my handbag essentials.

Another November highlight as been the arrival of my Ginvent Advent Calendar.

I finally got round to using my super pretty Kate Heiss Stationery notebooks. I just love nice notebooks and cards.

I'm a huge fan of Skin & Tonic's Steam Clean which I received in November's YOU Beauty Discovery Box. It quite simply is one of the best cleansing balms I've ever used! I love its minty scent too and the fact you can use it as a cleanser, a moisturiser, for cuticles and I've even used it to tame frizzy flyaways.  Just adore!

What have you been loving this month?

True Nature Botanicals: Noble Floral Solid Perfume

True Nature Botanicals product lines includes three gorgeous solid perfumes and anti-ageing Pacific Skin Care Products.  The skincare range used to be sold via Marie Veronique Organics.

The solid perfumes are super luxe. The chic metal containers are presented in a cardboard outer box. They are perfect for popping in your make up bag, handbag or pocket for truly gorgeous natural scent on the go.

I chose Noble Floral* ($95 - approx £58, refills £46) which is a beautiful floral scent with Rose, Jasmine, Tuberose and citrus.  Apply to the pulse points and anywhere else you wish! Apply generously and often.

No expense is spared as to the cost of ingredients and 100% natural "noble materials" are used. No fillers, no water, no toxins and no synthetic fragrances are used.

The scents: Noble Floral*Noble Citrus and Noble Woods are created by some of the most respected and experienced perfumers working at one of the oldest and most prestigious fragrance houses in France.

"for a perfumer being able to work without price restrictions is really a dream. It not only allowed me to work with the most precious raw materials, but also to select the best quality for every essential oil or absolute. This is taking me back to the roots of the fragrance history, when perfumes were created for a very few exclusive royals and only the quality was something to consider. This is the real essence of luxury".

You can also request a free sampler - which are hand dipped scent strips. This will help you to decide if a fragrance is for you or not...and yes I like the other two as well!  Once your solid perfume is finished buy a refill - the same or one of the other scents.  Each refill comes with a wand for easy removal of the existing tin.

Noble Floral* is one of the most luxurious perfumes I've ever owned. I love how it smells on my skin. It initially smells quite heady with the notes of Rose, Jasmine and Tuberose mellowing to a lighter and softer floral scent on my skin. I simply love it.

Ingredients: simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, Noble Floral BlendTM [citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil, citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, cananga odorata flower oil, juniperus mexicana oil, polianthes tuberosa extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) root oil, fusanus spicatus wood oil, jasminum sambac (jasmine) flower wax, vanilla planifolia flower extract, citrus reticulata (tangerine) leaf oil, rosa centifolia flower extract, viola odorata flower/leaf extract], polyglycerol-3 beeswax (cera bellina), hydrogenated jojoba oil (jojoba esters), cera alba (beeswax), butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, copernicia prunifera (carnauba) wax, dimethicone*, magnesium stearate
* We strongly believe in manufacturing the most effective results driven products without the use of toxins. Not ever. Our solid perfumes use Dimethicone 1000 which is a linear dimethicone with very large molecule size so it is not absorbed into the skin where as a the dimethicone rated by the EWG with a score of 3 contains much smaller molecule size which can then be absorbed into your body; because of this we feel confident in the safety and use of this source of Dimethicone in our solid perfumes.
