Here's what I've been reaching for lately:

Revlon's Ultra HD Matt Lipcolor in Devotion is just such a pretty shade. I love it's matt texture and long lasting colour too.

Mevita Youthful Day Cream 10ml which was a Latest in Beauty Build your own Box pick.  It firms, smoothes out fine lines, smells lovely and deeply nourishes the skin. Love!

Aesop Rind Concentrate Body Balm 50ml which I first tried when Galina at A Curious Russian in London sent me a sample. A truly uplifting rich body balm which has a citrus scent. It will cool and revive the skin and is perfect to use all year round. This is the body product which will chase away the winter blues!

Balm Balm Rose Floral Water 30ml* I received this in September's Love Lula Beauty Box*. I absolutely love it and am almost half way through it! Great to use as a toner or as a refreshing pick-me-up throughout the day. It's one I'll definitely be replenishing.

4160Tuesdays Buddhawood Box EdP with woody spicy notes and a creamy lighter note which is perfect coming into Autumn.

Less is More Rose Serum 30ml which I reviewed HERE. A beautiful product which makes the hair look shiny, smooth and healthy.

Latest in Beauty: Build your own Box

It feels like ages since I've bought a "Build your own Box" from Latest in Beauty. A friend pointed out my favourite Molton Brown handwash was a pick - so you can guess what happened!

I chose Box 3 where you chose 9 products for £16.99 plus P&P. Other options are Box 1 (3 items £8.99 plus P&P) or Box 2 (6 items £12.99 plus P&P).

Here's my picks:

I adore these Mauli Rituals Himalayan Healing Salts (60g) and this sachet is enough for 2 baths. 

Melvita's Youthful Day Cream (10ml) has been on the wish list for a while. It is said to reduce and smooth out fine lines while nourishing and protecting. Looking forward to trying.

I'm already a huge Kneipp fan and adore their Sweet Dreams Herbal Bath with Valerian & Hops (20ml). This is perfect to use before bed for a restful night's sleep.

Kevyn Aucoin's The Matt Bronzing Veil in Desert Days (1.4g) love bronzer so looking forward to trying this out.

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream 2 x 4.2g I love these small sizes which which are the perfect try me size or for weekends away (each should last 2-3 uses).

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Refine & Polish Miracle Balm 15ml (I seem to be missing a cloth!). Huge fan of this lovely brand.

Organii High Protection Sun Milk SPF50 - 10 x 3ml sachets - a brand I've not tried before so was curious!

COLAB Floral Fragrance Dry Shampoo 50ml I've always found this brand and product good and this is a handy size.

And my final item is that amazing hand wash (100ml) by Molton Brown (which is normally only available at Christmas time!) I love its spicy Frankincense & Allspice scent.

Just last week I spotted that Latest in Beauty had new items in the "Build your own Box" section. Of course, I couldn't resist! I went for the 9 items box which cost £16.99 plus P&P.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser 5 x 5ml sachets - I love this cleanser and thought these would be great for holidays/weekends away. See my review of the cleanser HERE.

Kneipp Pure Bliss Mineral Bath Salt with Red Poppy & Hemp 60g (1 bath) - I'm a fan of the Kneipp Herbal Baths so thought these would be nice to try for a change.

Dr Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum 15ml (full size worth £9.99) - I'm currently using the one I received in a YOU Beauty Box and I can honestly say it's lovely. I may use this one for a gift (or backup!)

Kneipp Lavender Herbal Bath 20ml - I've used this before and loved it. See my mini review here. 

The Library of Fragrance Gin & Tonic Cologne Spray 15ml (worth £10) - this smells just like a G&T when you first spray it mellowing down to a light and refreshing scent.

Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge Energising Sorbet Body Lotion 50ml & Bois D'Orange Invigorating Sorbet Body Lotion 50ml - I picked these as I'd received a body lotion by R&G in one of my advent calendars and had really enjoyed using it.

Mio Double Buff Dual Action Exfoliator 50ml - I'm a fan of Mio but not tried this scrub before. It has particles of Pumice, Lava and Bamboo blended with Papaya and Pineapple enzymes to slough away rough skin.

Melvita L'Or Bio Extraordinary Oil 17ml - which is suitable for use on body and hair - a handy size which I may keep for travel.

Melvita Rose Extraordinary Water 25ml - this serum like water which is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid locks in moisture. It rejuvenates and firms the skin. Apply before moisturiser using a cotton pad or your fingers.

Abahna White Grapefruit & May Chang Bath Gel 35ml - I love this brand and was pleased to pick this up at Latest in Beauty at a bargainous £1 in their build your own box section. 

Burt's Bees Almond Milk Hand Creme 7g - again only a quid from Latest in Beauty this super rich marzipan scented hand cream is gorgeous and leaves the hands deeply nourished.

Ruth Romano Lemongrass Soap mini - I'm a huge fan of bars of soap and this little one smells lovely!  Uplifting it's perfect for a wake up call in my morning shower.

Bodhi Mint The Refreshing Bath & Shower Therapy 250ml - this is my favourite Bodhi & Birch Shower Gel. Will definitely buy again.

Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo 60ml - this was nice to use and I'd buy again.

Lyonsleaf Calendula Cream 15ml - I loved this for dry rough patches of skin. Sure to buy full size soon.

Jimmy Choo EDP 50ml - I've not finished a bottle of perfume for ages! I really like this fruity sweet floral. Sure to buy again. This is my 3rd bottle of this scent.

Shropshire Lavender Bath & Shower Gel 30ml - this was nice to use with a gentle lavender scent. Would buy again.

Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Hemp Eucalyptus Pure Castile Soap 237ml - I wasn't blown away with the scent of this so wouldn't buy again. Love the Peppermint version.

Kneipp Sweet Dreams Herbal Bath Valerian & Hops 20ml* - loved the effects of this bath oil. Great to use before bed for a restful night's sleep. Didn't love the scent of it but would buy. Kneipp Pure Bliss Herbal Bath Red Poppy & Hemp 20ml* - this was gorgeous! Would buy full size and Kneipp Balancing Lavender Herbal Bath 20ml* - again lovely to use before bed. Super impressed with all of these.

Dr Organic Pomegranate Deodorant 50ml - a staple. Have already bought again.

John Masters Organics Rosemary & Peppermint Detangler 60ml - I loved this. It left my hair super shiny and nourished. Will buy again.

pai Geranium & Thistle Balancing Day Cream 15ml - this came in a weekender travel kit which I'd buy again.

Blue Labelle Hand Oil 10ml - this was lovely. See my review here. Would buy again.

Rachel's Plan Bee Body Oil 112ml - I just loved this body oil. See my review here. Will buy again.

Dr Organic Rose Otto Bath Oil 100ml - this is a great dupe for REN's Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil at a fraction of the price and just as nice. Sure to buy again.

S W Basics Cleanser trial size - this was nice to use and have another in my stash. Would maybe buy again.

SAMPLES - Melvita Bio-Excellence Youthful Serum 2ml* - this serum was a bit runnier than I expected. Absorbed quickly and smelt really nice. Would maybe buy full size.

Cowshed Perfecting Night Serum 2ml - this was nice to use and I got a few uses out the sachet. One to add to the wishlist I think.

I've been using newly launched Caudalie's Premier Cru The Elixir (10ml)* for the last few days and I can honestly say that I think it is a fantastic product. It is half oil and half serum which absorbs instantly into the skin leaving it feeling silky soft and comfortable.  It helps to target wrinkles, dark spots, firms, lifts, nourishes and brightens the complexion. Melvita Organic Rose Beauty Mist

I was shopping at Feel Unique and spotted Melvita's new Organic Rose Beauty Mist (50ml) at the bargain price of £7.00 (normally a tenner) and it just found it's way into my shopping bag!

The mist has a lovely rosey scent.  It calms, hydrates, refreshes and cools the skin.  Ideal for hot summer days, carry it with you and spritz your skin on the go.  It is also great to use for setting make up.

I'm a huge fan of the version for the face - Illuminating Golden Glow Face Shimmer*.  The body shimmer is infused with gold resins and scented with neroli oil.  It leaves the skin with a golden glow as well as firming and toning.

Melvita Rose Extraordinary Water (25ml) is perfect for refreshing and toning the skin and smells deeply of roses.  It contains hyaluronic acid to soften and nourish the skin.  

James Read Sleep Mask Tan (25ml) - you put this moisturising self-tan on your face before going to sleep and in the morning wake up with a golden glow. I'm both intrigued and scared of this product! 

Green People Sun Lotion SPF15 with Tan Accelerator (20ml) - I've used this lotion before and it gave me a even and long-lasting tan.

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm (4.25g) - a 100% natural lip balm which contains beeswax and Vitamin E. 

Moa The Green Balm (15ml) - this multi-purpose balm is 100% organic and can be used on sunburn, eczema and dry patches of skin.  This is a great size to be included in the box.  Perfect to take on holiday.

Ohso Good for You Chocolate x 2 bars - Orange & No added sugar - I've tried these little chocolate bars which help to de-bloat and deliver good bacteria to your intestine before and thought they were delicious.

There are two Dragonfly Tea bags - huge tea fan so these are a welcome addition to the box.

Finally, a Salt Resort Wear voucher for £20 any purchase on their site - there is swimwear, accessories, footwear and candles available to buy.

I've been enjoying using samples and trial sizes lately - you can see Little Treats #1 - here.

Trilogy Everything Balm 5ml -  this rich and aromatic multi-purpose balm is great for everything! You can use it on dry skin patches, to tame flyaway hair, on hands and cuticles, elbows, knees, feet, lips and as a natural skin care balm for baby.  Stuffed full of good things for the skin - Certified Organic Marula Oil and Rosehip Oil, Jojoba, Olive, Honey & Vitamin E.  Great for travel too as it does "everything"!

Melvita Apicosma Repairing Lip Balm 5g - a rich and softening lip balm which is enriched with Argan Oil, Shea Butter and Beeswax. It nourishes, repairs and protects dry lips.

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Souffle Body Creme 25g - I received this from my friend Julie in our Birthday swap (blog post on it coming soon - she spoiled me rotten!). This seriously smells good enough to eat! It envelopes the body in a rich and creamy vanilla scent.  Pure luxury!

de Mamiel Restorative Cleansing Balm sample - this came from Content's excellent sample service - see more details here and here.  A deliciously rich balm which removes all make up and daily grime easily.  It contains Manuka, Kukui, Calendula and Moringa oils which nourish and deep cleanse with a scent of Honey Myrtle, Fragonia, Chamomile and Rose Geranium.  You've guessed it full size is now firmly planted on my wishlist!

Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil sample - one of the most gorgeous face oils I've ever used!  An intensive overnight treatment which smells simply heavenly. Contains BioOrganic 100% pure botanicals which absorb instantly to hydrate and regenerate the skin.  Scented with Neroli, Lavender, Rose and Mandarin. Awaken in the morning with dewy and radiant skin.

I adore rose scents and roses are one of my favourite flowers (along with thistles)  Here are a few rose scented products I'm loving right now.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil* - my all time favourite bath oil. See my review here.

Jo Malone Red Roses Candle - I received this as a present from hubby. I do try to ration burning it as I'd never treat myself to one!  It smells so deeply of red roses and scents the whole room (you can even smell it into the next day). See my mini review here.

MIMI & ME Tea Rose Candle* - a beautiful eco friendly soy wax candle which is woody, floral and smells so rosey.  I reviewed the Christmas Bliss Candle* here.  The tea rose candle is scented with Palmarosa, Geranium, Sweet Orange, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Patchouli and Amyris essential oils. Smells of roses with a hint of spice and citrus.  Gorgeous!

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil for Face & Eyes* - huge fan of this rose scented oil. Massage it into the skin and then add a touch of water which turns it milky. Remove with a warm damp muslin cloth. Great for removing the most stubborn make up and leaving the skin clean, refreshed and comfortable. Naturisimo have a fab new Melvita kit which includes 35ml of this cleansing oil - see here (£9.99).

Dr Organic Rose Otto Body Wash - this smells deeply of rose. Lathers well and cleans the skin. It has an uplifting scent.  Good price too! Huge fan of the Dr Organic Rose Otto range.

Marble & Milkweed Nourishing Body Oil* - I simply love this cardamon and rose scented oil. One of my favourite body oils.  See my review here.

Quintessentially English Rose Bath Oil - this lush oil is lightly scented with roses.  Great for a luxe and indulgent soak.

Wellgreen Lewes Rose Body Butter - I adore this decadent, buttery and rich rose scented body butter.  See my review here.

A Closer Look: Cleansers

I adore cleansers. They are my favourite skincare item I have to admit. Here's my current collection..

JULVAL Remove & Restore Cleansing Cream & Oil 150ml* - this is light cream which changes to an oil texture when you massage it into your skin. Wet your hands and the cleanser turns into a milk, continue massaging then rinse. It easily gets rid of make up and daily grime and leaves the skin clean and refreshed. It helps to regulate sebum and refine pores and has a light floral scent.

Therapi Honey Skincare Orange Blossom No.1 Honey Gel Cleanser 100ml* - this cleanser smells gorgeous! It is made with honey, calendula, neroli, jasmine and plant oils. A lightly foaming gel wash which cleans, refreshes and uplifts the senses and helps save the bees. Full review to follow.

Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser 118.3ml* - I've been enjoying using this cleanser with my Foreo Luna.  See my review here.

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil for Face & Eyes 145ml* - a rose scented oil which removes all make up and daily grime leaving the skin clean, soft and radiant. This is great with really stubborn to move mascara.

REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser 150ml* - you only need the tiniest pump of this rose scented rich cream to remove all make up.  A full review to follow.  It also comes with a cloth which is a welcome bonus.

Peppy Galore Diva Cleansing Oil 45g - a light oil scented with Vanilla. Feels really gentle on the skin but is great at getting rid of make up.  See my review here.

Pampering #4

I was feeling a bit down in the dumps at the weekend so decided to have a long soak in the bath plus some pampering with a face, hair and neck mask.  Here's what I chose:

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil* this is a fab and really effective cleanser! Apply onto the skin massaging it into the skin. Apply some water and it transforms to a milky lotion. Scented with Damask Rose essence it's one of my favourites.

Jamela 24k Gold Neck Mask* - this mask is perfect for revitalising the skin and pampering. This mask contains Mineral Gold, Hyaluronic Acid, plant collagen and rose esssential oil. It is a real luxury mask and leaves the skin moisturised and radiant with fine lines reduced. It can be used in conjunction with Jamela 24k Gold Collagen Face Mask.

urbanveda Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish - a very effective and gentle polish which is nice to use.  It helps to brighten the skin and make it more radiant.

Philip B Katira Hair Masque - this is a really effective masque. It leaves the hair super soft and oh so shiny. I like how you can leave it on overnight too for a deep treatment.

Manuka Doctor Rejuvenating Face Mask - I received this in a trial size kit recently. It's an intensive mask made from bee venom. It can also be used as an intensive moisturiser.  Leave on 15-20 minutes and rinse off.

Neom Refresh Organic Bath & Shower Oil - an uplifting and refreshing bath oil. It always makes me feel happier when I use it in my bath.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR -  This oil is great to use on the body, face and hair. It moisturises the skin and leaves it with a bit of sparkle!

Shopping my Stash #42 - #NoBuyJanuary Edition 2

These are the products I've been reaching for this week:

Melvita Apicosma Ultra-Nourishing Body Balm - I first received a mini of this in Jane's BBB Beauty Box.  A rich balm scented with honey and packed full of nourishing butters and oils. Great for all over body use but especially on dry skin areas.

Apivita Moisturising Hand Cream with Aloe and Honey* - a light hand cream which super moisturises the hands. It smells lovely too. It contains aloe, honey, natural oils and butters along with biotin, Vitamin E and Provitamin B5 which helps to strengthen nails as well as nourish.  Organic Witch Hazel enhances antioxidant and soothing action. A really lovely hand cream.

Charlotte Hilton Rose Otto Face Oil* - a rich face oil which is stuffed with good things for the skin - Rosehip Seed Oil, Argan Oil and Pomegranate Seed Oil along with Rose Otto. It moisturises the skin leaving it soft and radiant. A fuller review to follow. I reviewed the Rose Otto, Sweet and Seductive Rosebud Milk Bath here.

Bee Yummy Skin Food* - a new product which is straight from NYC and only available at a beautiful world. This moisturiser is made from totally raw ingredients and is "so pure you could eat it".  It contains wildflower honey and honey cappings, bee pollen, St John's Wort flowers, Royal Jelly, Balsam Fir needles and pure water.  It super nourishes the skin and can help with burns, cuts, eczema and psoriasis.  My skin is just loving it.  A fuller review to follow.

Willow Organic Beauty Luxury Lip Balm* - a gorgeous rich and conditioning balm which is scented with orange. It also includes comfrey, Barbary Fig oil, Vitamin E and antioxidants. It leaves the lips conditioned and glossy. A really lovely lip balm. See my review of products from the Barbary Fig Miracle range here.

YOU Beauty Discovery Box: January

My January YOU Beauty Discovery box came last week.  It costs £6.95 including P&P and you chose two items from a selection and YOU add two extras - this time a mini bag of BBQ Popchips (yum) and a sachet of Green People Age Defy+ 24 Hour Brightening along with a code for £5 off the full size.

I chose:

The Organic Pharmacy (there was a selection of 3 masks sent randomly) I was sent Enzyme Peel Mask with Vitamin C & Papaya (5ml) which is suitable for all skin types. I'm looking forward to trying this. A full review will follow. It smells gorgeous.

My second item is Melvita Fresh Moisturising Body Milk (30ml) This is a easily absorbed lotion scented with roses. It is made with rose floral water, rose seed milk and wild rose petals.  A definite pampering treat. Full size 200ml is currently retailing on Melvita's website for £11.20).

Christmas Green Beauty Swap

Weleda Skin Food (30ml) Christmas Cracker - a cream which is good for dry skin areas especially elbows, hands and feet.

Lily Lolo Lipstick in Romantic Rose - I love this pretty shade - just the sort of colour I'd go for.

Neom Three Nights of Peace Mini Bath Oil Collection - I love Neom bath oils so was really excited to see this little set in my swap box.  It contains 3 x 5ml bath oils in - Complete Bliss (Moroccan Blush Rose), Real Luxury (Lavender, Jasmine & Brazilian Rosewood) and Tranquility (Lavender, Sweet Basil & Jasmine).

Melvita Apicosma Repairing Lip Balm 5g - I'm a huge Melvita fan and lover of lip balm. Have not tried this one before. It nourishes and softens dry lips and smells good.

ila Body Wash 50ml and ila Body Lotion 50ml - I've used these before and really enjoyed using them.

Pampering #3

I do so love a little pampering. Here's what I've been using:

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil 145ml* - this is a gorgeous rich cleansing oil scented with Damask rose essence. It easily whisks away all make up and daily grime. Massage into the skin and then add a little water which turns the cleanser milky. Remove with a warmed damp muslin cloth. Leaves the skin feeling clean and moisturised.

Freyaluna Skin Support Facial Tonic sample - this came in my recent Souk Souk box. A simply lovely toner which balances and tones the skin. It contains rosewater and a blend of essential oils.  Already a huge Freyaluna fan.  See my post on the Selection Box here.

Maddi Alexander Frivolous Bath & Body Oil 10ml - this came in my YOU Beauty Box. A beautiful oil which contains African baobab oil, Kalahari melon and sweet almond oils and scented with Sicilian lemon, bergamot, sweet orange, ginger and clove.  I tried the Serene Bath Soak a while ago - see here. 

Apivita Face Scrub with Olive 40ml* - a fine grained scrub which removes dead skin cells and cleanses the pores. It leaves the skin feeling revitalised, soft and renewed. 

ila spa Face Mask for Revitalising Skin sample pot* - a mineral rich green clay mask which adds radiance and revitalises the skin. See my review here.

Yarok Feed Your Youth Hair & Scalp Serum 1oz* - Simply love this pre-shampoo serum. I also sometimes put a couple of drops in my conditioner before rinsing.  See my full review here.

Laidbare butter me up body butter 250ml - a rich jasmine scented body cream which melts into the skin. Love the scent and the moisturising qualities. Quite simply a lovely product to use.  See my review here.
