*SkinLikes: Clean+Organic Natural Deodorants & Persian Silk Hydration Moisturiser

*I was very kindly sent these SkinLikes products for review. I'm a huge fan of SkinLikes Natural Deodorant for women*. See my review HERE - it was indeed great to try this natural and effective deodorant again! My husband tried the version for men and was also suitably impressed! The brand is founded by Jim and Sheila who formulate the clean and organic skincare range in the West of Scotland.

I absolutely love the pretty packaging - it's the little things, right?! (there are two deodorants in each pack but I'm only showing one each in my photo below). Check out the shop HERE.

SkinLikes Natural Deodorant for Women (twin pack - £9.95)* as I said before I'm a huge fan of this very effective 100% organic floral deodorant which keeps you fresh all day. A huge plus is no white marks on clothes! See my previous review HERE. On trying it again I now won't be without it! 

The version for men also comes as a twin pack at the same price, which I think is a great idea! When you're using the second one, you'll know it's time to put another order in. I found that the deodorant easily lasted for 3 months making it very cost effective. As with the women's version it keeps you fresh all day long and it has an ozonic scent.

Totally brand new to me is their Persian Silk Hydration Moisturiser* (£24.95 for 150ml) which is  blend of plant based and therapeutic oils and is suitable for all skin types. The cream absorbs instantly and has a floral and slightly spicy scent. Formulated with ingredients including Rosehip, Grapeseed and Passion Flower Seed oils and scented with Rose and Frankincense. It's best to use the moisturiser at night applying to the face, neck and decolletage. I've been really impressed - my skin is nourished, plumped, smooth and has a healthy glow!

What are your favourites from the brand? When I'm purchasing the deodorant again I'm likely to pick up their Joint Ease Lotion and Back Pain Knowledge.

Here's my March empties:

Nourish Balance Essential Moisturiser sample - this was nice to use and had a great scent but quite a small sample so unsure if it's really suited to my skin. I'd maybe try and purchase a bigger size.

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml - simply adore this bath oil. Sure to buy it full size at some point.  See my review here.

Conscious Skincare Grapefruit & Cedarwood Body Wash 50ml - this was lovely and refreshing. I'm tempted to pick up full size.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion 20ml - my favourite Weleda scent. Sure to buy again.  See my review here.

Maddi Alexander Frivolous Bath Oil 10ml - this was lovely to use and scented with citrus and spice. Would buy again.

Revive Creme Visage SPF30 5ml - a real luxe face cream. Was nice to use but probably wouldn't purchase as it is super pricey.

Urbanveda Daily Purifying Facial Wash 20ml - this was nice to use.  See my review here. I've got another stashed away to use.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation 30ml - one of my favourite foundations. Will repurchase.

Estee Lauder Daywear BB Creme 5ml - this was nice to use, a natural looking shade and one I'd consider purchasing.

Urbanveda Radiance Face Wash 20ml - again a nice product. Would perhaps purchase.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash 100ml - huge fan of the bath oil. This is lovely too.  Got a few minis to use up.

Dr Organic Pomeganate Deodorant 50ml - love this deodorant. Already picked up another.

Dr Bronner Peppermint Magic Pure Castille Soap mini - my favourite Dr Bronner's scent. I have already re-purchased this.  Mainly use it to clean my make up brushes (or the bath!)

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Evening Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml - nice enough to use but prefer Deep Relax or Inner Strength scents.

Omorovicza Gold Hydalift Mask 2ml - a gorgeous mask.  See my review here.

SKINLikes Natural Deodorant 70ml* - one of my favourite deodorants.  See my review here. Know I will buy this effective and nicely scented deodorant again.

kai shampoo 59ml, kai conditioner 59ml and kai perfume oil 3.6ml - absolutely love this scent and would repurchase all in a heartbeat.

Here's what I've been using up in January -

Just be Tranquil Body & Massage Oil 30ml - I love this light and calming oil. See my review here. I'm sure to pick this up again once I get through some of my stash!

Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Shampoo 60ml & Conditioner 60ml - I received these in a Souk Souk box. My first try from this brand. These are suitable for all hair types and I did enjoy using them. I'd like to try products for dry/damaged/coloured hair next.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist 50ml & 1 x 15ml - I simply love this and I repurchase it time and time again.  See my review here. 

Stila One Step Skintone Correcting Brightening Serum 30ml - I received this in the very first Selfridges box - see here and what an amazing box that was! I'm sad to have finished this all-in-one colour corrector, primer, brightener and serum. Sure to pick it up again sometime soon.

bodhi Desert Rose Rejuvenating Face Oil 30ml - one of my favourite face oils...ever! See my review here. I've super-happy I've got a replacement for this one! A product I'll buy again and again. Love it.

Dr Hauschka Almond Soothing Body Wash 10ml - one I've tried a couple of times in this size. A really lovely moisturising body wash and one I'd buy full size.

Pure Thoughts Tangerine & Jojoba Whipped Shea Butter 45g - another product I love. I think this was my third pot. Be sure to add it to my stash again as it smells fantastic and super moisturises the skin. Packaging has now changed to a handy tin.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash 20ml and Body Oil 10ml - absolutely adore the Sea Buckthorn scent. It's so uplifting and refreshing. These went on my wishlist for #NoBuyJanuary week 1.  See my review here.

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Morning Eye Rescue 1.5ml - loved this eye cream. Would be keen to try a bigger sample.

Swell Advanced Volumising Shampoo 50ml and Advanced Volumising Conditioner 50ml - these were nice to use and I'd happily purchase them again.

Myroo Mint Tea Polishing Body Scrub 300g* - I loved this minty and invigorating scrub. One I'd definitely use again.  Myroo Mint Tea Bath Fizz 160g*. This was really lovely to use and made bath time a pleasure. See my review here.

bodhi Jasmine Falls Relaxing Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - One of my favourite bodhi products so sure to purchase again.  See my initial review here. This particular one I got as a present from hubby. Will definitely buy again.

balance Me Supertoning Body Wash 100ml - this was nice enough but I didn't love the scent so wouldn't buy.

Hairy Jayne Light Conditioner 30ml - again, nice enough to use but I preferred the cream conditioner. See the set I picked up here.

One Love Skin Saviour Sample - this multi-purpose beauty balm was quite nice - you can use it as a cleanser, moisturiser or to mix with mineral foundation. There are other balms I prefer so wouldn't buy.

Therapie Cherish Skin Repair Serum 30ml - simply loved this beautiful body serum.  The aromatics used deliver a gorgeous scent but also have healing and regenerating properties. Definitely one I'll buy again (in full size!)

SoukSouk October Beauty Box

My Souk Souk beauty box arrived yesterday. I'm really pleased with contents and was thrilled to feature in the little green magazine which accompanies the box.

Onto the contents:

Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Shampoo 60ml - this is worth £8 - I've wanted to try this brand for a while. Minty scented and free from sulphates, parabens, phthalates and synthetic fragrances. It's good for coloured hair and can help to tame frizz.  I've tried this and the conditioner out and I really like them.

Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Conditioner 60ml (£8) - a rich mint scented conditioner which nourishes and conditions. This also get a huge thumbs up from me.

Bareskin Beauty Radiance Face Serum 15ml (£5.40) - a brand I've heard of but I've not tried any of its products.  Packed full of vitamins, mineral and essential fatty acids. It feels super moisturising on the skin and has a slightly spicy floral scent. Looking forward to trying this out. A full review will follow.

Sweet Cecily's Almond &  Avocado Face Cream 10ml - this is a mini try me size tin. I'm a huge fan of Sweet Cecily's already - see my review of Rose Body Butter and Mojito Flavour lip balm here. This cream is rich in vitamins A, D and E which makes in nourishing. Suitable for most skin types.

Avril Nail Lacquer in Hot Chocolate 7ml (£3.99) - this is 7-free varnish. Free from parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, toluene, xylene, camphor and rosin. A perfect shade for autumn.

SkinLikes Natural Deodorant

SkinLikes Natural Deodorant (70ml - £3.50)* is the creation of Jim & Sheila Steele who run a Bowen Therapy Clinic and online shop from Troon in Ayrshire.

The roll on deodorant is 100% natural. Testing is done at Glasgow Caledonian University which confirms that the product is safe to use.  It contains Bicarbonate of Soda, Xanthan Gum and Plant Based Therapeutic Essential Oils including Jasmine.

There is no sting after shaving, it leaves no white marks on clothes, is suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans and is free from Alcohol, Parabens and Aluminium Chlorohydrate.

A portion of profits are given to Rainbow Valley Charity which helps those living or affected by Cancer.

I love the light floral scent of the deodorant and the fact it keeps me fresh all day long.  I've found it lasts 3 months so find it cost effective.

Neal & Wolf Elevate Volumising Lotion - received this in my July Beauteco Box and it does what it says it will! Lovely product.

Melvita Eau de Fleurs d'Oranger Orange Blossom Floral Water 28ml and Melvita Apicosma Body Balm 15ml - received both of these in the British Beauty Blogger Edit Box both are absolutely lovely the floral water refreshes the skin and the body balm is rich and hydrating and has a nice sweet scent.

Herbfarmacy Lip Conditioner with Marshmallow & Vanilla 6g - a huge fan of this range.  I received this lip balm in Amarya's September box. Super moisturising and a handy size to pop in your pocket or handbag.

amie Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser 100ml* - leaves skin with a matte finish and is good at controlling shine. Full review to follow.

SkinLikes Deodorant 70ml* - a 100% natural deodorant scented with natural Jasmine Oil.  It contains spring water, bicarbonate of soda, xanthan gum and a blend of essential oils.  This is my favourite natural deodorant - it keeps me fresh all day.  You can see the shop here.  A fuller review will follow.
