Cult Beauty Goody Bag & Kai purchases

Cult Beauty offered a fantastic Goody bag at the weekend if you spent £60 or more. I first read about the offer on The Sunday Girl's Blog.  The offer started on Sunday and stocks were limited.  Cult Beauty offer this GWP deal twice a year.

Here's what I picked up -

I'm a huge kai fan - the perfume oil featured in my Seven Scents for Summer and Shopping My Stash #13.  With Gardenia, white exotic flowers, Jasmine, Tuberose, Lily and Cucumber. A simply gorgeous blend. It smells differently on everyone.

I also picked up the Travel Set (sheer indulgence) which includes - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bathing bubbles, body lotion and a vial of kai perfume oil.

An offer is running if you spend over £20 on Kai you receive a free 59ml Bathing Bubbles. I also got to choose 3 free samples - Collin Regenerating Collagen Gel 5ml, Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint - bronzed 1ml and Embryolisse Nourishing Moisturiser 2ml.

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts 100g - simply love these relaxing and sleep inducing bath salts. See my review here - these retail for £10.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil 10ml - my most favourite bath oil...ever! It featured in my Five Bath Oils post - see here and I reviewed it here.

Aromatherapy Associates Relax Deep Bath & Shower Oil 3ml - this is my favourite Aromatherapy Associates bath oil. Ensures a good night's sleep.

Kai Perfume Oil vial - can never have too many samples of this!

Miller Harris 1.6ml EDP vials - huge fan of Miller Harris scents - have tried la fumee and la pluie before. Love la fumee's smokey scent. I've not tried fleur oriental so looking forward to testing it out.

Como Shambhala Invigorate Shower Gel 50ml - a firm favourite.  See my review here.

Caudalie Huile Divine 3ml - a multi purpose oil which I've used before - great for travelling as you can use it on your body, hair, nails and skin.

April Empties

It's that time of the month again! Empties! I am a bit earlier with this post - I'm not going to use anything else up before the end of the month.

This is what I've got through this month and here are my thoughts:

Dr Nick Lowe Cooling Menthol Face Scrub 75ml - this is my all time favourite scrub and as soon as I see I'm running low I pick up another (or wait until Boots are doing their £5 off vouchers).  The best facial scrub I've ever used.

Sisley Sisleya Global Anti-Age Cream 2 x 5ml - got one in my Latest in Beauty box and one in a swap - gorgeous cream - but couldn't justify spending £243 on a full size pot so wouldn't buy.

Clarins Relax Bath & Shower Concentrate 100ml - one of my favourite relaxing bath products, it so soothes aching muscles, would purchase.  This was a generous GWP size.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 30ml - this was from the Breast Cancer Gift Box in October.  One of my favourite face creams - I always come back to this one - light and refreshing on the skin and it works.

Avon Lagoon Liquid Soap 300ml -  a cheapie but love the scent.

RMK Cleansing Oil Sachet 3ml - love, love, love this oil.  will probably purchase at some point.  Scented with rose and mint - got three uses.

Chanel Hydramax+ Active Serum 5ml - nice to use and smelled good but probably not really suited to my skin type so wouldn't buy.

Neil George Intense Illuminating Conditioner 10ml sachet - loved this, will purchase at some point when I've used some hair products up.

Como Shambhala Invigorate Shower Gel 2 x 50ml - my new favourite, have already purchased full size and got a few in swaps.

Como Shambhala Invigorate Body Lotion 1 x 50ml - love this, got a few stocked up.

Balance Me Rose Otto Body Wash 125ml - love this delicious rose scented      Turkish delight wash. 

Pure Fiji Body Butter - mini pot - lovely rich cream rather than a butter, lightly scented with coconut - love it.

Erno Laszlo Velvet Night Cream sachet - got two uses from this.  Lovely rich cream (got a few stocked up in swaps).

Erno Laszlo Instant Eye Repair sachets x 2 - got approx 5 uses per sachet.  Lovely eye cream but retails at £85 eek.

Erno Laszlo Morning Beauty Rescue/Intensive Porcelain Veil/Refresh Moisture Infusion - sachets - all lovely to use (and got a few more in swaps).  Wouldn't purchase anything from the range as its too expensive - but nice to try out.

G Baldwin & Co Harmonising Bath Oil 25ml - free gift with purchase.  Lovely scent and is reasonably priced so will probably purchase at some point.

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturiser 15ml - this was in my free Cult Beauty Gift - I am so in love with this moisturiser!  I definitely want to get this when I've used up the samples/trial sizes etc. from beauty boxes and other purchases.

Elemis Tranquil Touch Body Polish 50ml - lovely body scrub would consider re-purchasing.

Evolve Protein Build Conditioner - Dry/Damaged Hair 7ml sachet - received this in my April Amarya box - nice product, would perhaps purchase.

Age Definance Cleansing Wipes - sometimes only a wipe will do.  Try to use these now and again rather than everyday.  2 packs for £1 in Poundland.  Non-sting which is great.

Bamford Geranium Bath Oil 30ml x 2 - My favourite bath oil, I will eventually get round to buying this but still got a lot from swaps.

Molton Brown Vitalising AB&C Bath and Shower Gel 100ml - love the scent and the luxury of Molton Brown products.  

Garnier Body Intensive 7 days Soothing Lotion 250ml - Calming Honey - love this budget body lotion it really does work.  Great light scent too.  I'd definitely re-purchase.

Spiezia Facial Cleanser 10ml - one of the best balm type cleansers.  Quite a herbal scent so takes a bit of getting used to but removes every last trace of waterproof mascara and eyeliner.

Radox Hand Wash 300ml - chamomile and jojoba oil - delicately scented would re-purchase.

No7 Wipes - got these in the Boots £5 off voucher deal - wouldn't re-purchase as at £7 expensive and I didn't think they worked as well as the cheaper ones.

Garnier Fresh Essentials Toner 200ml - normal/combination skin.  I got this half price at £1.50.  Good budget toner. Would re-purchase.

Clarins Extra Firming Body Cream 30ml - got this in a swap.  Nice enough cream (though prefer the lotion in this range).  Wouldn't purchase as I think there are nicer body creams out there.

COMO Shambhala Invigorate Shower Gel & Lotion

This gift set was one of the lovely birthday gifts I received yesterday.  I discovered this fab brand via a swap on Beauty Box Swaps (and I've got more of the 50ml ones coming to me!)

Scented with essential oils of eucalyptus, geranium, Lavender & Peppermint.  Free from parabens, petrochemicals, artificial colours & fragrance & sodium lauryl sulphate.  The scent is gorgeous.  I'll be checking out other products in the range.

It's my birthday!

Sorry for the late post - it's my birthday today!  I thought I'd share some pics from my day.

I received some amazing presents - hubby had ordered online at Jo Malone and I received a beautiful gift set - unfortunately the Red Roses candle had smashed in transit - I was so sad - fortunately they are sending a replacement.  The bath oil and body creme are so lush.  I got freebies too - a mini nectarine blossom and honey shower gel and two sample vials - White Jasmine & Mint and Amber & Lavender.

My Cult Beauty goodies I received from my mum & dad - COMO Shambhala shower gel and lotion - discovered these beauties in a swap.  Adore.  Moroccanoil Travel Kit - I'd had my eye on this - only disappointment I was expecting it to contain an intense hydrating mask rather than a hairspray.

I took the day off work and we went for lunch to The Honours which was lovely.  They do a very reasonable set menu at £17.50 for three courses - Tuesday-Friday (and we had wine!)

I've had a lovely day!

Easter Bunny Swap - My boxes

I showed you a sneak peek of the bunny boxes I made up here.  Here are the boxes I received - love them!

Soap & Glory Heel Genius 125ml - never tried this product before - looking forward to using it.  I need to get my feet ready for summer so can't wait to try this out. Smells gorgeous.

Como Shambhala Invigorate Lotion 50ml - this is my new favourite brand so happy to receive.  Lovely lotion scented with eucalyptus, geranium, lavender and peppermint essential oils.

17 Volume Mascara in Black 8ml - can't go wrong with mascara looking forward to using this.

Wet n Wild Ultimate Minerals Loose Eyeshadow - really nice shade. Haven't used anything from this brand so looking forward to using.

e.l.f Superglossy Lip Shine - oh the shame! never tried any e.l.f. before.  A really shiny gloss in a really wearable shade.

Boots Natural Collection sachets - Hydrating Hair Mask, Hi-Shine Conditioner and Wild Strawberry Face Mask - pampering session for me.

ME ME ME Eye Shadow in Satsuma - great colour for summer.  Will be fab with a suntan.

Boots Cranberry Body Butter - really fruity with nice texture, melts into the skin.

The Body Shop Strawberry Puree Body Lotion 60ml - smells amazing, light gel like texture.

Vaseline Creme Brulee Lip Therapy - love this! 

2 cute bath fizzers - heart and duck

And lots of lovely chocolate eggs and bunnies.

The Body Shop Chocomania Shower Cream 250ml - I've already got the body butter so this will be great to use with it.  Smells amazing!

Compressed Paper Facial Masks - these look like giant pills! - to use soak one in your favourite toner and then apply mask to face - can't wait to try.  I love trying products I've never heard of before.

Hydrating Toner 200ml - made with natural ingredients smells light and fresh.  Maria indicates that it contains rice extract.  Another one I'm looking forward to using.

Kiko Calming Face Mask 55ml - another brand I haven't heard of - excited to try.

Cowshed Quinoa Hydrating Daily Moisturiser 20ml - not tried any Cowshed skincare so looking forward to trying.

Rimmel Eyeshadow Quad in Sun Safari - perfect shades for me.

Facial Blotting tissues - loved these in the box from Hong Kong.  A wonder product for shine!

And lovely chocolate bunnies.
