Project Pan - 6 Body Lotions

I absolutely adore the Freyaluna Rose Lotion I got in my Selection Box.  So I've set myself a challenge....once I finish 6 body moisturising products I've already got in my stash I'm going to buy this gorgeous jar of lotion.

I got a mini size of this in my selection box and I've fallen in love with it! But I've got so much to use up I've set myself the challenge of using up the products below before I buy this beauty.

Clarins Eau Ressourcante Silky Smooth Body Lotion 200ml - just less than half full.

The Body Shop Body Butter Duo 200ml - three quarters full.

Heyland & Whittle Green Tea & Grapefruit Body Lotion 300ml - just about full.

Nivea Firming Body Oil 200ml - just under three quarters full.

Miller Harris Citron Citron Body Lotion 60ml - just about full.

Rituals Mei Dao Organic White Lotus & Yi Yi Ren Body Cream (no size but a travel mini) - used once.

I'll keep you updated as to my progress. I'm hoping I'll be able to get the Rose Lotion after a few months!

Nivea Firming Body Oil Q10 Plus

I picked this up when it was half price in Superdrug - normally retails at £6.65 for 200ml - so just over £3 isn't bad!

Gently scented and super-moisturising - absorbs quickly into the skin.  Great to firm and nourish the skin (also great for stretch marks).  Can be used on damp or dry skin.  I've only been using it a week - it claims to firm the skin in two weeks.

I really rate Nivea Body Care products - have you tried this body oil?

Body Lotion Update

I first blogged about my body lotion spending ban here.  The following are the ones I have managed to use up so far and my thoughts on whether I'd buy again.

Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion - love this.  First blogged about it here.  One of my favourite cheaper lotions.  The second one in the photo is Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Souffle Body Creme which is gorgeous! Rich creamy and smells of sweet vanilla and sugar - one that's definitely going on my wishlist.

Elemis Pro-Collage Body Cream.  You can read my post here.  Another one I love! Would maybe get it again at a Harvey Nichols shopping evening when they offer a discount (their Spring party is approaching!)

Garnier Intensive 7 days Soothing Lotion - Calming Honey - another cheaper body lotion which I love!  Still got the mango version to use.  Would buy again.

I also have used a small 50ml size of Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream (love) and the small Temple Spa Face and Body Balm (wouldn't purchase) Still got a long way to go on the body lotion challenge! (have also acquired a few more!)

February Empties

Here are my February empties!

Jo Malone Red Roses Bath Oil 30ml - This was in the Christmas gift from hubby.  Absolutely gorgeous.  Would definitely buy again or drop hints!

Gatineau Gentle Cleansing Lotion for Eyes 250ml - I got this as a gift.  Was nice and gentle but not effective at removing stubborn make up - not one I'd purchase.

Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser SPF15 - Shade 03 - loved this, great colour and light coverage.  Lasted for ages, would re-purchase.

L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream 10ml - one of the best hand creams on the market will definitely re-purchase (in fact I've got a full size ready to use).

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Body Creme 15ml - pure luxury, was part of my Christmas gift mentioned above.  Would like to try it in Lime, Basil & Mandarin scent.

Lavera Bath Sea Salt Sachet 80g - Vervain & Lime - zingy and fresh.  Would re-purchase.

Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 125ml - another I love and would re-purchase.

Creme de la Mer The Eye Concentrate 3ml - pure luxe!  Would love to purchase this!

NEOM Bath Oils x 2 single use - gorgeous! Love bath oils will probably re-purchase.

West Labs Himalayan Bath Salts - single use sachet - from Carmine.  Didn't really think much of these.  Wouldn't buy.

L'Occitane Cherry Princess Body Gel 8ml sachet - got this as a freebie with purchase - loved it so much have bought the full size.

Klorane Brightening Cream Condition 10ml sachet - freebie.  Ok product but hated the smell.  Wouldn't buy.

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser 100ml - gorgeous, beautifully scented product.  Love this! Have got a replacement one I received in my subscribers gift.

Cor - The Silver Soap 10g - Great product, really easy to use and very effective.  Will re-purchase.

Bamford Geranium Bath Oil 2 x 30ml - love this bath oil, so relaxing! Have a good wee supply from Beauty Box Swaps.

Imperial Leather Chamomile Hand Wash 300ml - okay product, didn't love the scent so probably wouldn't re-purchase.

Elemental Herbology - 4 x sachets from Latest in Beauty - Facial Glow Radiant Peel, Cool & Clear Cleanser and Oil Free Facial Hydrator and 2 x 0.5g sachets SUPER Bright Eyed Flawless Eye Cream - I raved about these products here.  I would definitely purchase all of them.

TIME Face Cream - Ok product which I enjoyed using but wouldn't purchase.

Tropic Body Smooth Refreshing Polish - mini pot from my Best of Boudoir Box.  Quite a nice product but I found the scent quite artificial so wouldn't buy.

Simple Invigorating Shower Gel 250ml - my favourite cheapie shower gel.  Great to wake you up in the morning.  Have already bought a couple more when they were on offer in Semi-Chem.

Lush Butterball - quite liked this bath bomb but there are others I prefer so wouldn't re-purchase.

Dior Capture R60/80 Smoothing Eye Cream 2ml - lovely product, loved using and would maybe purchase.

Klorane Chamomile Shampoo - 25ml - a freebie, good results but hated the scent.  Wouldn't purchase.

Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion 250ml - my favourite cheap body lotion.  Does exactly what it says it will and smells great.  I've got one hidden away which I got from ASDA for £2. (I'll get it out when my massive body lotion stash reduces!)

Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser 20ml - I bought this after reading a magazine review.  Nice product with exfoliating beads.  Enjoyed using would maybe re-purchase.

Prada Candy Shower Gel 75ml - this was in my Christmas gift set.  Lovely good quality shower gel but expensive full size - would probably save my money to buy another bottle of perfume.

L'Occitane Ultra Rich shower Cream 75ml - lovely product, gently scented and very moisturising.  Will probably buy full size at some point.

L'Occitane Essential Face Water 30ml - love this.  Have since bought the full size.

Essential Care Organic Rose Moisturiser 1.5ml sachet - from Amarya.  I loved this.  Scented with rose and can be used around the eye area.  Have already  bought a mini 15ml size.

Sisley Sisleya Global Anti-Age Cream 5ml - so love this product.  From Latest in Beauty YOU box.  I'll never be buying as it costs a fortune but so lovely to use.

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Body Cream 85g - I picked a set of four up in the sales after Christmas.  This is the first one.  I love it.  Really rich and sweet.  I am adding this one to my wish list!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil 10ml - loved this would purchase full size from Feel Unique box.

Body Lotion Spending Ban!

I've put myself on a body lotion/butter/oil spending ban (and all other beauty products apart from Carmine, She Said Beauty and Joliebox.  Amarya (I have until September as I paid this for a year) and any essentials I may need).

I was a bit cheeky yesterday and bought L'Occitane Cherry Princess Silky Body Gel - like I need another body lotion - when you see the photo below! A limited edition scented with cherries and floral notes - (I recently received a free sample instore and fell in love).  Its got a light silky texture and melts into the skin leaving the skin delicately scented.  There is an extra-special Limited Edition set available containing 50ml EDT, 250ml Shower Cream, 75ml  Body Gel and 30ml Hand Cream all for £39.  You can see the set here.

Below are the body products I want to use up this year.  I have nearly finished the Neutrogena Body OilNivea lotion and Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream.

Other half doesn't understand why I need so many! I do like a choice (plus I have a few more hidden away - oops).  This post was inspired by The Bristol Beauty Blog and Cosmetic Cravings.

What beauty products do you have too many of?

Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion 250ml

I picked this lotion up last week and have been using it in the morning after my shower.

95% of natural origin, paraben, colour, silicone and mineral oil free.  It is a really effective lotion with a light texture which sinks easily into the skin.

Scented with chamomile and contains Argan oil it has a fresh floral scent.  Suitable for normal/dry skin.

Retails at Boots (£3.57) and Superdrug (£3.49) and I guess it will be available in the supermarket too.  A great everyday lotion at a bargain price.  Have you tried it?

p.s. Asda are selling it at £2 - a bargain!

Boots Gift Card

I spent my Christmas Boots Gift card yesterday.  Here is what I got.

Poppy King for No.7 set which contains - sheer wine lipstick, flirty fusica lip gloss, radiant rouge jumbo lip tint, pencil sharpner and compact mirror with pouch.  I've not tried any of the Poppy King products before.

2 x Philosophy Mini Shower Gels - both 60ml - Snow Fairy and Peppermint Bark - I've never  tried any Philosophy shower gels before so looking forward to trying them out.

I read a magazine review which raved about Eucerin Dermato Clean Refreshing Cleansing Gel and Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion so picked them up.

The cute little dog bag is actually a mini manicure set.  The Neutrogena Hand Cream 15ml was an impulse buy (at the till).

And...Soap & Glory Do a Bubble Take - I do love some Soap & Glory.

p.s. my first day back at work today :(
