*Dr Jackson's Samples

*productsamples I've thoroughly been enjoying this sample selection from Dr Jackson's. They are all try me sizes apart from the 10ml Baobab & Rose Oil which retails at £16. The brand is made in the UK, is unisex, organic, cruelty free, Vegan, sustainable science led, free from parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances and synthetics. Dr Jackson's picked up some awards in the recent Beauty Shortlist Awards.

The teas are absolutely delicious and I'm already a huge fan of herbal teas - I was sent a single use bag of Expedition Tea which invigorates and replenishes. Baobab is rich in antioxidants, Rooibos and Honeybush strengthen the immune system, sharpen the mind and ease tension. Sweet Liquorice soothes. Relax Tea soothes, calms and relaxes. It helps you to escape and calm down. Drink during the day to bring some tranquility to your life or just before bed to for a deep and relaxing sleep. Formulated with Valerian Root which is used as a sleep aid, Passionflower with insomnia and sleep issues, Lemon Balm Leaf soothes anxiety and promotes sleep while Peppermint Leaf calms and refreshes. Pick your tea up HERE.

I've been really enjoying testing out a large range of things. 07 Face Wash clarifies, refines and cleans the skin. It's got a gorgeous citrus scent and is a pleasure to use. Skin is left clean, fresh and nourished. 01 Day Cream SPF30 is super lightweight and absorbs instantly onto the skin. I like the fact that there's SPF added into the formulation too!

02 Night Cream is rich and buttery and nourishes and softens the skin while you sleep. 06 Body Perfecting Gel is one of my favs! Absorbing quickly, deeply nourishing and leaving the skin with a slight patchouli aroma.  05 Face & Eye Essence which is a delight. I adore a multi use product and this light as air hydrator, which is scented with Damask Rose flower water is a skincare must-have and perfect for summer holidays.

Baobab & Rose Oil is exquisite.  Dr Jackson's say "self care in a bottle" and I'd agree! A beautiful rich and luxurious body oil which deeply nourishes, calms and smells of roses. A 100% natural oil which is scented with Damask roses. It's ideal to use for massage, as a perfume, as a body oil and to inhale in cupped hands around your nose for a feeling of calm. I absolutely adore it.

March Empties

*gifted/for review
**sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program

I'm not sure what's happened this month but I've hardly used a thing! I'm not going to use anything else up so here are my March empties:

Clarins Fig Leaf Hand & Nail Cream 30ml - this was very moisturising and had a lovely fig type scent. I think it was limited edition so not sure if it's still available. Might or might not buy again.

*Dr Jackson's 07 Face Wash 1.5ml - which won best foaming cleanser at the recent Beauty Shortlist Awards was lovely to use and the perfect try-me size (I got two uses from this sachet). I loved this and would buy full size.

*Dr Jackson's 06 Body Gel - I loved this - it had a silky texture and a gorgeous scent. Would buy.  The final Dr Jackson's item in my empties was a 2ml sachet of their 01 Day Cream which I quite liked. Reviews of these and other Dr Jackson's products is forthcoming but I'm suitably impressed with the brand.

Evering Botanique Agrume Face Oil 15ml - I won this on an instagram competition - see HERE. I loved this citrus+neroli scented skin treat and would buy.

Penhaligons Quercus Bath & Shower Gel 50ml - the Quercus range was in our hotel bathroom last week (luxurious) and this unisex wash was lovely (I have used this scent before). I really enjoyed using it again and would buy full size (I also love Penhaligon's Bluebell range).

BYBI Beauty Babe Balm 30ml - this luxe balm is gorgeous. I have since cracked open a new one. See my review HERE.

My final March empty is **Alteya Organics Rose Oil Hand Cream 30ml - which is a deliciously rich and buttery hand cream scented with rose. It's a delight. See my review HERE. I've since opened a new one.

Dr Jackson's 05 Face & Eye Essence

I was pretty thrilled when Naturisimo sent me a pot of Dr Jackson's 05 Face & Eye Essence (£60 - 50ml*) to review. The brand has been on my radar for quite some time.

This niche and super luxe range was created from 21 years of pharmacognosy research (the study of medicines derived from natural sources).  Founder, Dr Simon Jackson has been carrying out research in labs throughout the world as well as going on some fascinating sounding expeditions.

The company was founded in 2008 and it contributes a percentage of sales to a research foundation called The Natural Products Community. Aims include eliminating their carbon footprint, creating sustainable jobs and running conservation educational projects. There is no animal testing and products are free from parabens, PEG, phthalates, perfumes and synthetic colours.

Packaging is simple but very stylish and is recyclable.  The Face & Eye Essence is a light gel which is easily absorbed into the skin. It also smells great! having a slightly rosey floral scent.  Soothing and refreshing it revitalises and calms the skin.  You can also feel it instantly tightening the skin on the face and around the eye area as well as leaving the skin feeling soft, hydrated and radiant.

It contains natural extracts of Aloe Vera, Rose Water, Roman Chamomile, Baoba and Kigelia which calm, soothe, boost collagen production, reduce inflammation, heal, hydrate, reduce pigmentation and firm. It really is a wonder product! I also love that it is a multi-purpose product.  It's also great for helping to combat signs for jet lag and for sun exposed skin.

To use: after cleansing apply a small amount to the face allowing to absorb before applying moisturiser. Suitable for all skin types.

Have you tried this product? Or any others in the range?
