June Empties

Here's what I've been using up in June:

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm 15ml - one of my favourite cleansing balms. See my review HERE. I've got a few of these in my stash to use up.

Chantecaille BioLifting Cream+ 10ml - this is a beautiful moisturiser and is a real treat. Full size is unfortunately out of my price range! I love occasionally getting this size in beauty boxes.

Jo Loves Pomelo 50ml - I was super sad to finish this perfume as it's one of my favourites. Will buy again soon! See my review HERE.

Isla Apothecary Jasmine Sunset Radiance Body Oil 10ml - this was a gorgeous oil which contains copper mica particles which give the skin a glow. The scent is beautiful and it's a body oil I'd love full size.

OKKO Natural Body Balm Stick 4.5g - a great try-me size of a lovely product. See my review HERE. I'm unlikely to pick this one up full size but I'll definitely be buying their natural face balm stick.

Aromatherapy Associates Support Lavender & Peppermint bath & Shower Oil 9ml - love these bath oils. Sure to pick up this scent again.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Evening bath & Shower Oil 9ml - again, huge fan of these oils. Would be happy to use this one again.

The Body Deli Almond Milk Cleanser sample - nice to use with a delicious almond scent. Maybe once my cleanser stash reduces that I'd pick this up.

Skin & Tonic Calm Clean Cleansing Balm 5ml - I got a few uses from this teeny sample. Absolutely loved it and a full size pot is on the wishlist!

By Terry CellulaRose Brightening CC Serum samples - my favourite from the four was No.2 Rose Elixir which adds a youthful glow to the skin. It's one I'd buy full size.

Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts 500g - these are a staple and are always in my stash. Next Cult Goody Bag time I'll replenish my stash! See my review HERE. If I could only use one bath product it would be these salts!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue sample - huge fan of this lovely eye cream. My pal Julie bought me a full size pot for my birthday. It's really lush (expect a full review soon).

Apples & Bears Bergamot & Green Tea Body Silk 50ml* - I received this in a Love Lula Box. I really enjoyed the silky texture of the lotion and the scent. Will buy when my stash reduces a bit.

Ogario Hydrate & Shine Shampoo 250ml** - I really enjoyed this shampoo. See my review HERE. It's one I'd definitely pick up when I'm needing a new shampoo.

Apple & Bears Honey & Hemp Body Wash 50ml** - lovely to use with a sweet herbal scent. See my review HERE. Again, it's one I'd buy.

Love Lula Beauty Box: May 2017

My May Love Lula Beauty Box* arrived the other day and as ever it's fantastic value for money (from June it's going up to £13.95 recurring a month for UK subscribers which includes P&P) but even with the tiny rise it's one of the best value monthly beauty boxes out there. This month the contents are worth £45 and there are 3 full sizes inside as well as 2 travel sizes.

So what's inside:

From Laidbare there is DIY! Two in One Cleanser & Toner 125ml (£6.99)* which cleanses and tones the skin and is suitable for all skin types. I'm looking forward to trying this one!

I'm a huge fan of John Masters Organics haircare and inside there are two 30ml travel sizes - Lavender & Rosemary Shampoo (£2.25)* and Citrus & Neroli Detangler (£2.25)*. These are both being popped in my travel bag.

From PHB Ethical Beauty we have Gentle Moisturiser with Shea Butter & Apricot 50ml (£16.95)* which soothes, calms and nourishes sensitive skins. My skin isn't really sensitive but this seems lovely so I'll definitely be trying it out.

The final item in the box this month I've tried before (review) which is Ogario London's Styling Mist for Natural Hold & Volume 60ml (£16)* it really does boost volume and leaves the hair looking and feeling good.

As ever, there is also a 20% off code to use on any of the brands this month.

Did you get a box this month? What are your thoughts on the contents?

Ogario London: Styling Mist for Natural Hold & Volume

I'm a huge fan of Ogario London's beautiful and effective hair products. See my reviews - Restore & Shine Hair Masque*Hydrate & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner* and Revive & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner*.

I've been testing out their latest product - Styling Mist for Natural Hold & Volume with Lemon Zest, Oats and Honey* (60ml - £16).

The styling mist is salon developed and suitable for all hair types and contains MICROKERA which utilises microcapsules of keratin and Argan oil which seals split ends as well as caring for damaged hair.

Lemon Zest, Oats and Honey help to strengthen, add shine, boost volume and hydrate the hair. ProVitamin B5 strengthens and Vitamin E has antioxidant properties.

To use: wash and condition the hair before towel drying. Shake the bottle and mist over the hair before styling.

I've found my hair to be in better condition, softer and with way more volume. Highly recommend!

You can buy Ogario Direct or from places like Whole Foods, Planet Organic and Love Lula.

Happy New 2017!

Happy New Year! I hope 2017 is a brilliant year for you!

I'm not making any New Year Resolutions this year (whew that's a weight off my mind!) With regards to the blog I've been posting nearly every day - which while working the day job I've found it can be quite stressful. I'm planning posts 4-5 days a week going forward.

Here are some of the products I'll be reviewing soon:

I'm also trying to spend less in January - I'll keep the couple of subscription boxes I currently subscribe to but buy no extras. I'm also doing the Good Reads Challenge again but aiming for 80 books (instead of 100).

Are you making any resolutions or setting any goals this year?

Ogario London: Revive & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner & Styling Mist

I've been testing out Ogario London's Revive & Shine Shampoo (250ml - £16.50)* and the matching Conditioner (250ml - £18.50)* for the last few weeks. I'm a huge fan of the Hydrate & Shine duo* (review) and the Restore & Shine Hair Masque (review)*.

The hair care range was 4 years in the making and Salon clients gave real feedback both verbally and by the way their hair looked and felt.

These are Beauty Bible favourites and gently clean and hydrate the hair helping to make it more manageable and shiny looking. The Revive & Shine Shampoo* can be used everyday.

To use: work a small amount in the palm of your hand before massaging through damp hair. Follow with the matching conditioner or the masque.

The Revive & Shine Conditioner* smells gorgeous! It's a rich cream which contains natural actives hibiscus to nourish and horsetail to condition.

To use: pat excess water from hair with a towel before apply the conditioner to the hair concentrating on the ends. Leave a few minutes before rinsing.

NEW IN: Styling Mist for Natural Hold & Volume with Lemon Zest, Oats & Honey (60ml - £16)* I've only been using this mist for a short while but so far so good! It makes the hair feel more voluminous as well as helping to control frizz and static. Absolutely love! Expect a fuller review shortly.

Ogario London: Hydrate & Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

I recently reviewed Ogario London's Restore & Shine Hair Masque* which is absolutely gorgeous. See my review HERE. I'm currently enjoying their Hydrate & Shine Duo (£35 - 2 x 250ml)*.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are suitable for dry and colour treated hair. The award winning shampoo is formulated with Honey and Moringa Seed and leaves the hair feeling clean and hydrated. As it's fairly concentrated I've found it best to add a little water and lather it in my palm before massaging onto my hair.

The conditioner (which smells fantastic) is formulated with Tamarind and Marshmallow and it deeply nourishes leaving the hair feeling soft and looking smooth and healthy.  Apply to the hair, concentrating on the ends before rinsing.

Pick yours up HERE.

Ogario London: Restore & Shine Hair Masque

I've been loving using Ogario London's Restore & Shine Hair Masque (200ml - £28.50)* as it's one of the most luxe and deliciously scented hair products I've used. Scented with Lavender and Sage the masque restores and repairs damaged hair leaving it shiny, silky smooth and smelling gorgeous!

Ogario London, is an award winning British haircare range. Products are made with plant extracts and essential oils. Creative Director, Norris Ogario started his career as an apprentice in a West End salon. Twenty years on his own salon in North London has grown organically and extended into a haircare range.

The range includes Revive & Shine (suitable for all hair types) and Hydrate & Shine (for colour treated hair). Restore & Shine is the masque and this comes in the larger size and a smaller 50ml size which is ideal for try me or travel.

The Restore & Shine Masque* deeply nourishes the hair, repairing and improving it's condition. It's packed full of good things for the hair and scalp including Avocado and Olive oils, Aloe Vera, Nettle, Horsetail, with Vitamin rich sage and calming lavender.

To use: use once or twice a week on towel dried clean hair, concentrating on the ends. Leave on the hair for 10 minutes or so before rinsing.

I've been really impressed with how healthy and shiny my hair looks and feels. Have you used any products by Ogario London?
