April: Lately I've been Loving

Items marked with * I've been gifted for review. I've been loving the sunny days which April has brought as well as:

N.dulge birthday treats as a SpaceNK cardholder. It's the little things which make you smile. I've been enjoying testing my April Birthday treats out.

A one-off or subscription from Cosy Wee Reads. See what book was in that package HERE.

A little keyring which made me smile from Sam, a colleague and friend at work for my birthday (you'd never guess we are both gin lovers!)

Beautiful soaps from The Soap Mine which are very long lasting. These ones smell beautiful. Reviews up very soon!

I've totally fallen head-over-heels for Inner Senses Greenhouse Tomato & Carrot Seed Oil Cleanser (love that you can now pick up minis which are perfect for try-me or travel). The scent is sun ripened tomatoes and so uplifting! Beautiful! Expect a review soon.

The stunning Tom Daxton 13 Vial Complete Collection set which hubby bought me for my birthday (I did drop some hints!). So far, I've fallen head over heels for Resin Sacra and Sicilian Wood.

I received this cute little Anna Wright coin purse and Burt's Bees cuticle butter from a friend, Gillian for my birthday. It's ever so sweet and makes me smile.

I embarked on a Spring Cleanse* with Weleda this month. You can see my initial post HERE.

I was ever so chuffed to be Love Lula's most helpful blogger member on their Facebook group and below are the items I chose. Reviews to come!

I was sooo pleased to feature in Top Sante's My Super Six series (May issue - out now!)

I'd bought some of Claire's products before and couldn't resist a wee lucky bag (limited edition run of 15 bags for £15). I was thrilled that I managed to nab one.

What have you been loving this month?

Recent Purchases

Here's my recent purchases. I'll review them more fully shortly:

I couldn't resist this little set from Neal's Yard Remedies (£20) which includes a bath oil & massage oil (9ml each) in Soothing, Rose & Pomegranate and Geranium & Orange. It's the perfect treat/gift.

I recently came across Memento Scents, a botanical vegan perfumery. I picked up three solid perfumes and was sent one of the new roller-ball scents* to review.

SpaceNK were recently offering a free goody bag with a £20 spend - I couldn't resist and picked up my first Diptyque Candle. I chose the gorgeous Tubereuse which is the most intoxicating and expensive floral perfume in the world. The scent is a deep lush floral which scents the whole room.

I've been working my way through the scents I received in my 4160Tuesdays Advent Calendar (review) and the two I've gone onto buy so far are the gorgeous London 1969 and Raw Silk & Red Roses.

I used Roullier White's fantastic sample service to try Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 before purchasing the travel size (30ml - £27) at Cult Beauty. It's an amazing scent which works with your chemistry so it smells differently on everyone. Two people have asked me so far what's that smell!

Have you bought any beauty products lately?

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil

I love all things rose – red and pink roses, rose tea, rose lemonade, rose creams, rosé wine (know this doesn't really count!) and rose scented bath and body products.

My all-time favourite bath oil is REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil.  It’s not cheap at £30 for 110ml.  I joined REN's “10% off your favourite product for life scheme” which makes this product £27.  REN also offer free samples with purchase and you can choose these at check out.  You can also buy this product at SpaceNK.

It is formulated with Moroccan Rose Otto Oil and oils of Palmarosa and Geranium.

The scent of roses fills not only the bathroom but the whole flat!  The oil disperses to a milk when it hits the water and doesn’t leave an oily film on the bath afterwards.  It's great after a stressful day as it really mellows me out.

It moisturises the body as well so I don’t need to use a body moisturiser afterwards.  It’s one of these products I’ll always love.

I first mentioned this bath oil here.
