Content Beauty & Wellbeing: Beauty Wishlist #1

I'm always seeing beauty products I want so I've decided to start a new series. Here's some of my current wishlist items all from Content Beauty & Wellbeing which is situated in Marylebone, London (and one of my favourite shops to visit).

Less is More Rose Serum (30ml - £26) - I've had my eye on this for a while. A serum which repairs and moisturises the hair, is great for dry, brittle and frizzy hair and treats scalp problems. It sounds like it would smell gorgeous! With Rose Damascea and Sicilian Tangerine.

de Mamiel Salvation Body Oil (200ml - £75) - I have had the pleasure of trying this lovely body oil before as a 30ml sample size. I'd just like a full size bottle in my stash! Rich and luxe it's scented with Ylang Ylang, Rosewood and Jasmine and deeply nourishes the skin while relaxing and calming the mind.

Kypris Beauty Elixir I 1000 Roses (47ml - £189) - again, I've tried a sample of this (link) and it's a must have for any rose lover. Simply lush.

Sweet Virtues Chocolate Nut Butter (170g - £5.95) - having just found out I love Sweet Virtues chocolates I'm kind of sure I'd love this! Rich in vitamins and super food ingredients it contains raw cacao, chia seeds, coconut nectar, ginseng and almonds.

Skin & Tonic COCO MASK (50g - £22) - I'm a huge fan of the minty STEAM CLEAN cleansing balm (and everything else I've tried from the brand). This powdered mask can be mixed with water, raw honey and yoghurt for a hydrating mask.

Lina Hanson Satori Perfume Oil (8ml - £75) - a scent which awakens the senses. It contains vanilla, sandalwood, Japanese yuzu and ginger. Sounds so lush!

Lina Hanson Global Body Serum

After my January spending ban I treated myself to Lina Hanson's Global Body Serum (100ml - £50).  See my post here.

100% natural the serum is made using the highest quality natural and organic ingredients and is hand blended in small batches. The scent is uplifting making it perfect to use after your morning shower. The serum helps to relieve dry skin, improve elasticity and circulation.  It contains 10 of the world's most powerful and exotic superoils.

To use: shake the bottle before applying to damp or dry skin. Non-greasy it absorbs quickly leaving the body super moisturised and lightly scented.

It's one of the most luxurious products I've ever used and I'd highly recommend it. It smells divine and deeply moisturises the skin.  It's one of my favourite products so far this year.

It contains Marula, Baobab, Camellia Seed, Argan, Brazil Nut, Pumpkin Seed, Rice Bran, Apricot Kernal, Yuzu and Avocado Oils which nourish, protect, hydrate and are rich in anti-oxidants.  Scented with Mandarin, Neroli, Frankincense, Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang, Vanilla and Pink Grapefruit. These essential oils rejuvenate, balance, moisturise, help with cellulite and heal.

The essential oils are sourced in Morocco, South Africa, India, Tunisia, Japan and Peru.

There is no animal testing, parabens, artificial fragrances, silicones and petrochemicals used in the products.

Lina Hanson is a celebrity make up artist born and raised in Sweden where eco-conscious living is a way of life. She moved to New York to train as a make up artist and is now one of Hollywood's top make up artists and a natural beauty expert.  Her first product is Global Face Serum.

Have you used either of Lina's products?

February Buys

After #NoBuyJanuary I went a little bit crazy in February! I'm doing this haul post now as I won't be purchasing anything else this month and I'm contemplating another spending ban until my birthday in April....although I know I'll have to pick up a few things like foundation and powder before then.

Content Beauty & Wellbeing offered those of us that had been doing a spending ban in January a little discount and so I bought Lina Hanson's Body Serum - which I'd been lusting over for quite a long time!  You can see my post about my purchase and the samples I picked up from the great sampling service here.

The Global Body Serum is simply gorgeous.  Hand blended in small batches combining ten of the worlds most powerful and exotic superoils. It is scented with Vanilla, Mandarin, Neroli, Frankincense, Palmarosa, Pink Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang essential oils.  A full review coming up!

I also picked up Napiers Alkanet & Organic Elderflower Lip Tint (£5) which I'd wanted in #NoBuyJanuary Week 2.

It moisturises and soothes this lips leaving them with a light red tint. Cute tin too!

I picked up some trial sizes and samples at Lucy Rose. I'm looking for a new shampoo & Conditioner so picked up these to try.

You can pick up to three samples per order (more if you spend more). I picked up trial sizes of Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo & Conditioner both 60ml. I've tried these a couple of times and so far I'm impressed!

I also treated myself to Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser not only because I love it but also because between 8-14 February they were offering free samples with any purchase! I do love a freebie and so nice to try some more products! I reviewed the Miracle Cleanser and Revitalise & Glow Serum previously - see here.

2ml vial Cell Repair Night Oil, 5ml sachet Miracle Cleanser and 2ml sachets of Cell Revitalise Day Moisturiser, Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser and Revitalise & Glow Serum.

As I was buying Lily's dog food for Bess to make postage costs more worthwhile I picked up Dr Bronner's Peppermint Pure Castile Soap from Natures Healthbox. I like using this to clean my make up brushes and love the minty scent.

What have you been treating yourself to this month?

Content Beauty & Wellbeing

Content Beauty & Wellbeing which is based in Marylebone, London offered us girls who'd been on #NoBuyJanuary a little discount as an incentive to treat ourselves. The code was valid a few days and on Saturday I decided I was going to have a little splurge. My items arrived super quick on Tuesday. Look how beautifully they are wrapped.

I bought Lina Hanson Global Body Serum (100ml - £50) - a 100% natural body oil which is packed full of nourishing oils and smells simply gorgeous! A full review to follow shortly. Ana, you are going to love this!

I also purchased a sample of Vamp NYC (£1.50) by Honoré Des Prés, a French Organic perfume with notes of Tuberose, Rum, Bourbon Vanilla, Benjoin, Peru Balm and Tolu Balm. This is simply lovely - it's quite heady and intensely floral (it reminds me a little bit of Fracas) and I'm definitely tempted by a full size bottle!

Content Beauty & Wellbeing offer a sample service - you select 4 products you'd like to try and Content will send you them in mini pots, with enough for at least two uses.  This great little service costs £3 see here.

I chose De Mamiel Rose Lip Balm (simply divine, the nicest rosey lip balm I've ever tried!), May Lindstrom The Honey Mud Cleansing Silk (which can be used as a cleanser or a mask), MV Organic Skincare Rose Soothing & Protective Moisturiser (this smells gorgeous and feels nice on the skin) and Oskia Renaissance Hand Cream (this is as lovely as I knew it would be!)

I was also sent some free samples!

Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil 2ml vial (excited to try this!), Twelve Beauty Rapid Eye Treatment 1ml sachet (not tried anything from this brand before) and absolution Le Serum sachet 1.5ml (never heard of this brand!)

I'm super pleased with my order and sure I'll be picking up some items next month...if not before!
