*Love Lula Beauty Box: April 2021

*I received the Love Lula Beauty Box complimentary as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review. The Beauty Box costs £14.95 in the UK on a rolling subscription making it excellent value for money. This month the contents are worth £59! As ever, there's 20% off the brands in the box in the form of a code for subscribers which is valid until the 10th May.

I was especially excited to see the new Ooh! Oil of Heaven nestling inside as well as J.R. Liggett's Mini Shampoo Set - both of which had been on my wishlist!

Inside is a full size (30ml - £19) of the latest Ooh! Oils of Heaven - Organic Jojoba Face Oil, which I'm looking forward to trying. It closely mimics the skin's own sebum and is suitable for acne/oily skins. It can also be used to stimulate the scalp - I love a multi-use product.

I came so close to buying this dinky little Assorted Sampler Box of mini shampoo bars from J.R. Liggett's (6 x 18g, £12.99). Being a huge solid shampoo fan I'm looking forward to testing them out - Original, Herbal, Tea Tree & Hemp, Moisturizing, Jojoba & Peppermint and Virgin Coconut & Argan). They are the perfect try-me set or for travel.

From Inika, is a full size Long Lash Mascara (8g - £23) in Black which will give you long and luscious lashes with no flaking or clumping. I'm sure I've used this Vegan mascara before. It's always nice to see a make-up item nestling inside.

Rounding up this month's box is a delicious Black Cherry Lip Balm from Crazy Rumors. This is full size (4g - £3.99) and is fruity, tangy and sweet. It'll nourish and care for dry and chapped lips.

A great box in my opinion, what are your thoughts?

*Love Lula: Crazy Rumors Zodiac Collection: ARIES Lip Balm

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program for an honest review. I'm a huge fan of American Crazy Rumors, having previously tried and loved their Vegan lip balm in Hot Cocoa (review) and Apple Spice (review). I'm always a sucker for a quirky and fun product and their Zodiac Collection is just that!

There are 4 custom blends - Earth, Air, Water and Fire. The lip balms are natural and Vegan and made in small batches. The range of flavours is huge - check it out HERE.

ARIES Zodiac Lip Balm (4g - £4.49)* (birthdays between 21/3 - 19/4) is a deliciously aromatic blend of fresh citrus, aromatic spice and berry.

"Optimistic, courageous & independent. Like a sunny day, you’re warm and tend to see the bright side of things. Where are those shades when you need 'em? With a positive mindset, cheerful approach and a sweet smile, you’re a true go getter. Just lead the way! Aries, we think you’re pretty lit!"

I love a good lip balm me, and this one as well as being fun deeply nourishes the lips leaving them hydrated and glossy. It's also a good size for popping into a handbag or pocket.

What are your favourites from the range?

*Love Lula: July Accredited Blogger Picks

I very generously received this selection free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger. I've decided going forward to do an initial post of my monthly picks and then, where necessary do fuller reviews later in the month when I've had a chance to test the products more fully (my post contains one affiliate link).

This month, my first selection was a product I've wanted to try for ages - Rahua's Enchanted Island Salt Spray (£32 - 124ml)* which is gorgeous! It's truly luxe and smells wonderful. I'll be testing this out over the month and reporting back. So far, so good.

My second pick this month was from a totally new to me brand - Yin Yang Skincare's MSM Cream for Joints and Muscles (£10.95 - 60ml)* which smells of fresh limes. It's a soothing cream which contains sulphur rich MSM which soothes tired and overworked muscles and joints. I've got muscular issues and an old knee injury so I'm looking forward to testing this out. Again, a full review will follow.

I love Crazy Rumors Vegan Lip Balms and couldn't resist one of their quirky Zodiac balms. ARIES is my star sign, so that's the one I picked up! The lip balms cost a very affordable £4.49 (4g) and a mini review will be forthcoming. Lush!

As you'll know Love Lula offer samples with a purchase over £10. I've tried a few of Inika's new skincare items but not all so picked up a selection of samples. So far, I know I want their Phytofuse Renew Resveratol Serum full size! I'll let you know my thoughts in my monthly empties post.

Occasionally Love Lula offer their Accredited bloggers an extra product if they can commit to reviewing it that month. After having loved EarthKind's Tea Tree & Eucalyptus Shampoo Bar for Improved Scalp Health* last month - REVIEW I was more than happy to try another in the range. Enter their Bergamot & Sage Shampoo Bar for Dry & Coloured Hair (£6.95 - 50g). I've tried this once so far - and I'm suitably impressed - I even felt it brightened what colour I have left in my hair (roll on my visit to the hairdressers later this month). It left my hair feeling nourished and hydrated. Again, expect a review later this month.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts?

*Love Lula Christmas: Stocking Fillers: REN Clean Skincare, Trilogy & Crazy Rumors

*productsamples sent to me as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program.

I adore REN's Moroccan Rose Otto range and this little tree decoration/stocking filler/secret santa gift is super cute. It contains a 10ml  (£10) bottle of their lush Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil which is a total delight. I've loved this for years and years (and way before I started blogging). See my review HERE.

I just adore a festive scented lip balm and Crazy Rumor's Apple Spice Limited Edition 100% Natural Lip Balm (4g - £3.99) is perfection - juicy apples spliced with spicy cinnamon (totally mouthwatering). The lip balm deeply nourishes the lips leaving them scented with spicy apples.

My final stocking filler pick is one of Love Lula's samples (which you can buy with an order over £10). Trilogy's Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm (10ml - £2) is the perfect stocking filler. A lush balm which makes short work of make up and daily grime and is very effective. Skin is left feeling clean and comfortable. What beauty products are you hoping to find in your Christmas stocking?

Shopping My Stash #104

*My post contains a few gifted items. I last shopped my stash waaay back in January - see HERE. Here's what I've been reaching for lately:

I was lucky enough to try Danish brand, o.Moi* as a Beauty Shortlist Judge and I totally fell head over heels for the brand. One of my favourite products was their glorious Respire Body Oil which was a Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2019 Finalist - and that award is very well deserved.  The body oil can be used in association with yoga practice or just as a gorgeous body oil or for massage. It feels luxurious on the skin and has the most amazing floral, slightly herbal scent. It's love!

I've been testing out one of Isla Apothecary's newer products, their Skin Purifying Mud* which can be used as an exfoliant or mask and it will cleanse, purify and balance the skin. It's perfect for combo/acne skins and my oily T-zone has been loving this very effective mask. I'm going to be doing a full review very soon.

I love new lip balms and Crazy Rumors, while having been on the radar for ages I hadn't tried up until I received their delicious Hot Cocoa flavour* in February's Love Lula Beauty Box*. The balm deeply nourishes and smells of sweet cocoa.

Weleda's Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Concentrate 30ml* is perfect for ageing skin and it's the product I'm currently reaching for. It'll help with cell renewal and elasticity smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. My skin is looking more radiant and glowy. A full review will be up very soon.

I've tried a few of Love Lula's Walden Perfumes and "Castles in the Air" is one of my favourites. I love the calming lavender, floral and citrus notes with a touch of exotic Ylang Ylang.

Yarok Feed your Style Dry Shampoo Mini which I'm loving. I'm trying to wash my hair less and have found this to absorb grease while giving my hair a fuller look (with no white residue).

What have you been reaching for lately?

Love Lula: Beauty Box: February 2019

My February Love Lula Beauty Box* arrived last week. It's absolutely brilliant this month and the contents are worth £60 (UK rolling subscription - £14.95). I receive a box free of charge as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger for an honest review.

WOW!

From Seascape Island Apothecary is their award winning Soothe Sleep Oil 8ml which is worth £10. I'm excited to see this in the box as it had been on my wishlist! They say it's a "true lullaby in a bottle" which will relax and calm both the body and mind before bed. Looking forward to testing this out and a review will follow.

A new Walden Natural Perfume is always exciting and inside is a roll-on natural perfume oil of 'A Gentle Rain' 10ml (£17) It's a blend of oak moss, labdanum and patchouli and is right up my street! Again, a review will follow.

From Crazy Rumors is their Hot Cocoa Lip Balm 4g (£3.99) which is a sweet and almost edible nourishing lip balm. It's lush!

A full-size product from PHB Ethical Beauty in the form of their New Gentle Moisturiser 30ml (£20) which is suitable for sensitive, dry and reactive skin. My skin is combo so I'll probably pass this onto a more sensitive friend.

The final item is from Balm Balm and is their Fragrance Free Face Balm 30ml (£9.50) which is a must for sensitive skins. It's ideal for face, neck or anywhere else that needs some TLC.

And this month included is a code for a HUGE 25% off the brands in the box! Are you a subscriber? What are your thoughts on the contents?

*sent to me free of charge as part of the Love Lula Accredited Blogger Program. All thoughts are genuine - it's a great box!
