Little Treats #9

ESPA Optimal Skin ProCleanser 15ml* - a delicious, rich gel cleanser, mask and exfoliator in one! It leaves the skin deeply cleansed, radiant and renewed. Apply to the skin in circular motions until the jojoba spheres melt before removing with a warmed damp muslin cloth. Leave on for 15 minutes twice a week to activate the mask. This is a super luxe product which also smells incredible. Full size is on the wishlist!

BEING Bloom Lip Service 15ml - this lip balm is scented with Vanilla and Rose - what's not to love! See my review here.

Lyonsleaf Calendula Cream 10ml - this little pot helps to soothe the skin and reduce itching. It is great for treating eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and acne as well as dry skin patches.

The Body Deli Solar Skin Cream 10ml - this mini came in the recent a beautiful world s/s 15 sampler box. This lotion contains SPF15 and absorbs instantly onto the skin. Perfect to use right now!

lj's Natural Solutions Balancing Organic Moisturiser 8g - this lush geranium scented moisturiser is great for all skin types, absorbing quickly and balancing the skin.

Lush Imogen Rose Solid Perfume 12g - a rosey scent with amber, vetivert and green notes. Great for slipping into a pocket or handbag for some scent on the go.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask sample* - this mask is fantastic! It brightens dull skin leaving it looking refreshed, smooth and radiant. Apply a thin layer onto the skin once a week (you can feel it working straight away!) leaving on for 15-20 minutes or so before rinsing.

Have you tried any of these?

BEING Drift Salt Bath & Bloom Lip Service

My package arrived from BEING on Friday and I'm delighted with it. The brand has just launched and I managed to get a pre-launch special of 15% off.

Founder, Cynthia is a former Marketing Manager whose career was full on and she longed for a quieter pace of life in France. When this didn't happen she decided to learn how to create and make gorgeous products which calm and soothe both the body and mind.

Products are hand made with love and care in Portland, Oregon. They are 100% Vegan and natural and contain no parabens, no preservatives, no additives, no synthetic dyes or fragrances, no soy-based ingredients, no SLS and are GMO free. Packaging is reyclable and reusable and the boxes are packed with shredded junk mail!  Cynthia also works with fair-trade certified suppliers.

I chose Drift Salt Bath ($18 - 227g approx £12) which are made with Hiwa Kai Black Lava Salt and Dead Sea Salt. They provide "balance and increases blood flow while essential oils of atlas cedarwood and juniper berry inspire mental strength and stability for an empowering and transformative soak".

To use: once immersed in the bath add salts and disperse with your fingers.

I've not had the chance to try these yet - tonight for sure!

My second purchase was Bloom Lip Service Enlightening Vanilla+Rose ($12 - 15ml - approx £8) as soon as I saw this I knew I had to have it! A lip balm in two of my favourite scents!  This was created to remind Cynthia of rose syrup desserts and vanilla wafers at her favourite Lebanese cafe.  Apply to the lips as often as needed.

With shipping (no Customs yah!) my order totalled $43.50 (£29) making it an affordable treat!

No Buy January & Happy New Year!

I've decided to do #NoBuyJanuary again this year as I have lots and lots of lovely products and samples to use up so I'll be continuing to shop my stash and show you my wish lists!

Just after Christmas I came across Rachel's Plan Bee via Julie's blog and treated myself to a Facial and Body Oil, and a couple of things each from also new to me brands - BEING Apothecary and White & Elm as well as a travel brush set from Bellapierre in the Naturisimo Sale and I also signed up to The Perfume Society as a VIP Subscriber.  I now most definitely need a month of no spending!

I am keeping one beauty box subscription (Love Lula) and I am also allowing myself to buy up to two magazines a month (as well as my subscription to Red mag).

This should be do-able. Are you taking part in a spending ban this month?

And a very Happy New Year to everyone!
