YOU Beauty Discovery Box - December 2015

My YOU Beauty Discovery Box landed with me on Saturday. Here's what I chose this month:

I'm a huge fan of REN's Moroccan Rose Otto range (especially the bath oil) so I knew one of my items would have to be a trial size of their Body Lotion (50ml) which I've used several times before.

My second pick was the gorgeous Beatitude Joy Body Oil (10ml) which is truly gorgeous (and one of my top picks for 2015). See my review HERE*.

The extras this month was a sachet of Studio 10 Miracle Effect Priming Serum which I'm sure I'll use and a 0.8ml sample vial of Narciso Rodriguez Narciso EDT which I'm happy trying out. It has notes of white peony, bulgarian rose, black and white cedars and vetivert.

YOU Beauty Discovery Box - November 2015

I picked up November's YOU Beauty Discovery Box (£6.95 inc P&P) as I thought the products on offer this month were fab.

The first one which jumped out at me was Mitchell & Peach Flora No.1 Fine Radiance Face Oil 10ml (20ml - £30) making this worth £15 and a great value treat. The oil has a delicious scent (rose, lavender, ylang ylang) and helps to plump up the skin, firm and make it glowy. So looking forward to trying this. Expect a full review soon.

As I'm a huge fan of Dr Organic I knew my second item had to be their Royal Jelly Eye Serum (15ml - £9.49). This serum absorbs quickly and has a delicate honey scent. It helps with fine lines, reducing puffiness and dark circles as well as firming and nourishing. Again, looking forward to testing this out.

The extras are a DHC Alpha-Arbutin White Mask a single use sheet mask which help fight dullness and discolouration.  It also helps with ageing and any sun exposure. Fold over flaps allow you to treat the eye area too.

The second extra is I love...Perfectly Peachy Bath & Shower Creme sachet (10ml)

YOU Beauty Discovery Box - Gift Guide - November

I think this is the best ever Members Box from YOU Beauty Discovery. I've been keen to try something from Skin & Tonic and I'm already a huge fan of Therapie's amazing Himalayan Detox Salts (100g) - see my review here.

Skin & Tonic's Steam Clean (15ml) is quite simply one of the best cleansing balms I've ever used! I was smitten after my first use (last night). You can use it to cleanse, as a moisturiser on dry skin patches, for lips, cuticles and flyaways.  Love it's spearmint scent too. Review up soon!

Our extra treats this month: Aduna Baobab Superfruit Powder which can be blended into smoothies or sprinked on cereal, porridge or yoghurt and two Merumaya sachets - Melting Cleansing Balm (this is lovely) and Iconic Youth Serum.

Spiezia's Facial Cleanser 10ml (worth approx £5) - this is a much loved cleanser of mine and I always have a full size pot in my stash (this one's going in my travel bag). See my review here.

YOU Beauty Discovery Box - Birthday Special - September

My YOU Beauty Discovery Box arrived yesterday afternoon. Costing only £6.95 including P&P it's the best value box out there!

I chose Wild about Beauty Nutrilips Colour SPF15 Lipstick which is full size and worth £15.00. The shade I got is called Bobbie, a nude shade. The lipstick feels super moisturising on the lips and I quite like the colour.

My second item(s) were an ARK duo of Shower Gel & Body Butter (which has a texture more like a lotion). Both are 30ml and in the scent Loving which combines Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Patchouli, Camomile, Bay, Rosewood, Myrhh, Rose and Black Pepper. I'm looking forward to trying these out.

As this is YOU Beauty Discovery Box's first birthday everyone received an extra product in the form of Toni & Guy's Glamour Volume Plumping Whip 90ml and worth £7.19. It is said to create all day body and bounce without flyaways.

Extras: two Crabtree & Evelyn Teabags in Afternoon Tea and Blackberry Green Tea, a make-up sponge and a £25 Hello Fresh Gift Voucher (which is only available to new customers of Hello Fresh).

YOU Beauty Discovery Box: January

My January YOU Beauty Discovery box came last week.  It costs £6.95 including P&P and you chose two items from a selection and YOU add two extras - this time a mini bag of BBQ Popchips (yum) and a sachet of Green People Age Defy+ 24 Hour Brightening along with a code for £5 off the full size.

I chose:

The Organic Pharmacy (there was a selection of 3 masks sent randomly) I was sent Enzyme Peel Mask with Vitamin C & Papaya (5ml) which is suitable for all skin types. I'm looking forward to trying this. A full review will follow. It smells gorgeous.

My second item is Melvita Fresh Moisturising Body Milk (30ml) This is a easily absorbed lotion scented with roses. It is made with rose floral water, rose seed milk and wild rose petals.  A definite pampering treat. Full size 200ml is currently retailing on Melvita's website for £11.20).

My December YOU Beauty Discovery Box arrived on Monday night. It's Party Prep box and is fab. This box costs £6.95 per month including P&P making it the best value beauty box out there! Join up here.  You pick two items and YOU Beauty add two samples.

I chose Magnifibres Brush on Lashes (full size - 0.9g worth £20!) I'm looking forward to trying this out! To use - apply one coat of mascara then apply the Magnifibres when mascara is still wet then wait 30-60 seconds and apply a second coat of mascara to cover the white fibres.

My second item is a duo - Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydrocream Whip (70ml) and Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydromist Blow-out Spray (25ml) The hydrocream whip is a styling cream which lightly conditions and gives a smooth finish. the blow-out spray gives hair body and smoothes down frizz.

Extras this month are a mini Green & Black's Raisin & Hazelnut chocolate bar and a sample vial of Flash by Jimmy Choo.

My YOU Beauty Discovery Box arrived on Monday. This is the second box - you can see what I received in my first box here. Costing an absolute bargainous £6.95 including P&P you chose two samples and another two items are added - this month a cute little branded mirror and a nakd Berry Delight bar.

I chose a mini Tangle Teezer which you can pick up at Look Fantastic for £11.99. I'm really excited with this pick as I've been wanting to try this for ages!

My second pick was Noble Isle Willow Song Bath & Shower Gel 75ml - I've tried this before and loved it.  It has a light floral scent.

You also get a mini magazine with information about all the products - you pick two from a selection of eight and then everyone gets the two additional items.

YOU Beauty Discovery Box is the latest monthly beauty box.  Costing only £6.95 including P&P. The products are presented in a great little box (I'll find loads of uses for them).  YOU have teamed up with Latest in Beauty to bring beauty lovers trial size beauty.

What you do is chose two items from a selection and some surprise beauty treats are added.  You must make your choices by the 25th of the month. Also included is a little magazine which gives an overview of each product as well as money off offers.  Next month, it's handbag heroes.  You can join up HERE.

So what's inside:

Shiseido Super Corrective Duo - Super Corrective Eye Cream (5ml) and Super Corrective Serum (9ml) - looking forward to trying these out.

Daniel Sandler Waterproof Eyeliner in Grey Velvet - I'm a huge fan of waterproof eyeliners so looking forward to trying this out.  This is a full-size product.

Onto the extras:

Lalique Satine EDP vial - always happy to try out new perfumes. This has top notes of Jasmine Petals, Gardenia and Heliotrope, middle notes of Tonka Bean, Vanilla and Pink Pepper with base notes of Vetivert, Patchouli and Sandalwood. It's sweet and lightly floral. 

Pure Gold Collagen - single use - I've tried this supplement before and didn't find it really made any difference to my skin so I'll probably pass this bottle on.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Emery Board - pretty floral patterned emery board.
