October Empties

Here's what I've been using up in October (items marked with * I've received complimentary).

Sisley Neck Cream 10ml this was nice to try but unlikely I'd buy full size.

Odacite Rose+Neroli Treatment Mist 50ml which was gorgeous! My friend, Julie gave it to me for my birthday. See my review HERE. I'd have this back in my stash again in a heartbeat!

Clarins Tonic Moisture Balm 5ml I loved this aromatic body balm and would love full size but got huge amount of body products to use up (maybe someday!)

Beauty Pie Jeju Daily Rehydration Mist+ 100ml gorgeous product. See my review HERE. Sure to buy again at some point.

Shay & Blue White Peaches 10ml I adore this beautiful fresh, sweet and fruity scent. It featured in my 5 perfumes for Spring (link). Will buy this again...and soon!

*O.moi Respire Breathe Nourishing Yogi Oil 100ml this was a winner (and one of mine!) in last years Beauty Shortlist Awards. You can see my top picks HERE. I adored this body oil and it's one I'll buy again at some point. The whole range is lush!

*Earth Harbor Rose Ruby Hydrating Face Mist 60ml which was an exciting new to me brand. It featured in a Vertue Beauty Box entitled Vitamin Sea. It was a beautiful mist to use and I'd like to explore more by the brand.

I did have a shampoo sachet which matched with the conditioner from Giovanni Root66 but it seems to have gone walkabouts! The duo were ok but I didn't see much in the way of added volume so wouldn't buy (2 x 7.4ml).

I loved Living Sea Therapy's Calm Bath Salts 400g which I picked up in  the Anthropologie sale. See my review HERE. I'd definitely consider buying these again especially if they were on sale.

The Lore Originals Legend Mask was new to me (you use it on dry hair before washing and conditioning). My hair was left feeling super soft and healthy. Would perhaps buy again.

Jurlique Rare Rose Cream 2ml smells glorious. It was quite a teeny sachet but my skin seemed to love it. Would maybe buy full size.

Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution .45k (single use) I've used these salts before and loved them. Would happily buy again.

Verdant Alchemy Drift Off Bath Salts 100g which came in September's Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box. I loved them a lot and would buy.

*MOSSA Vitamin Moisture Conditioner 10ml which did nothing whatsoever for my hair! Wouldn't buy.

Avon Distillery Purify Facial Oil 2ml which is from a new range by Avon Cosmetics. Really nice. Might or might not buy in future. I do have their Sleep Potion Night Cream which I'll review soon.

Decleor Creme Ambree Sunkissed Cream 2ml which was brown in colour! This disappeared on massaging it onto your skin. I liked this, would definitely like to try more samples before I'd buy full size.

Living Sea Therapy: Calm Bath Salts

I picked up these Calm Bath Salts by Living Sea Therapy in the Anthropologie sale for a bargainous £8.95 (400g). I'd been wanting to try the brand for some time so this was the perfect opportunity.

The products are created with sister businesses, Cornish Sea Salt Co and Cornish Seaweed Co, a team of marine biologists, environmentalists and therapists. Formulated with sustainable hand harvesting and processes based on natural science they've created Living Sea Complex which combines three vital elements to harness the restorative powers of the sea for you and your skin.

I love when companies give something back. Living Sea Therapy donate a percentage of their profits to the Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE) to help turn the tide on the destruction of our marine habits.

Calm Bath Salts are formulated with Living Sea Complex (distilled sea salt minerals and Cornish seaweeds), Cornish Sea Salt flakes and a blend of calming and relaxing essential oils.

To use: pour some salts into a warm bath, jump in and relax. They can also be used as a facial sauna steam.

I've been enjoying these relaxing salts very much and would buy again. Will definitely explore the rest of the products in the range. What's your favourite product?

Latest Buys

As you'll know I didn't buy much when on holiday in the States in December so when I came back I had a few splurges:

Exquisite gift set Lush & Rosy from A.S Apothecary which I reviewed on Friday - see HERE.

Living Sea Therapy Calm Bath Salts which I picked up in the Anthropologie sale for £8.95. They smell glorious and I'm looking forward to trying them.

I picked up this SW Basics Juniper Cream (2oz - £9.99) in the a beautiful world sale. A review will follow - it smells woody/herbal/uplifting.

I signed up to a three month subscription with Beauty Pie. An offer of the first month free FIRSTMONTHFREE swayed me and I'm always looking for the perfect foundation (saving a tenner, on a three month contract). I picked foundation and powder as my first picks (£6.95+£6.48+£5.32 plus p&p = £22.11). Next month I'll be charged the standard monthly membership on top of what I order (£10). So far so good. I'll review these items when I get the chance to try them. See more info about the way it works HERE.

Cult Beauty always offer a wee money off incentive just after Christmas and I couldn't resist stocking up on my favourite Escentric Molecules perfume (Molecule 03). It focuses on the synthetic note of Vetiver and is stunning - earthy, grassy, spicy and so wearable (this is my second bottle and I believe it'll always be in my perfume collection as it's so beautiful).

I've also bought a shed load of kindle books (12 and counting) and a couple of hardbacks.
