Good Housekeeping - The Green Beauty Box

As a subscriber of Red magazine they recently offered their subscribers Good Housekeeping's The Green Beauty Box for £48 instead of £60 with free p&p. It's such good value! Inside is 18 full and travel sizes. The box is worth a whopping £274. (there is of course a few items I won't use which I'll pass along). You also get a digital 12 month access to Good Housekeeping mag.

Wow!

I was especially excited to see Earthkind's Organic Oats Conditioning Bar (full size - 50g - £8.95) as I'm a huge fan of the brand + this had been on my wishlist. Also inside the box is their Shampoo Bar Dry + Coloured Hair (Bergamot + Sage) (full size - 50g - £6.95). Always happy to have a back-up. See my review HERE. There's also a full size of Scentered's De-Stress Aromatherapy Balm (5g - £14.90). I've tried this before and it really does calm a stressed mind!

I'm a huge fan of Floral Street perfumes, my fav is Electric Rhubarb). Inside is their Mini Discovery Set Light (5 x 1.5ml £9) which is the perfect try-me set. See my review HERE.  From Temple Spa is a 30ml AAAHHH! Foot + Limb Moisturising Cream Balm worth £4. There's also pocket tissues from The Cheeky Panda which are plastic free and made of bamboo. These are worth a quid.

There's a Bellapierre Brown Eyed Girl Palette which is full size and worth £28.99. All the shades look pretty wearable. I especially like the sparkly one - perfect for Christmas parties! I don't use liquid liner + am quite fussy about my mascaras so these two will be passed along. The eyeko Skinny Liquid eye liner is 1.2g and worth £9. The Body Collection Big Volume Black Mascara is full size 12ml and worth £2.50.

From Lumene is their Nordic Ageless [AJATON] Radiant Pressed Serum 15ml which is worth £13.50. It smell really nice and has a gel like texture. Looking forward to trying it. I recently tried Florena Fermented Skincare and inside the box is their Regenerating Facial Oil 30ml (full size) worth £24.99. Totally new-to-me is Neo Sephiri and inside is their Pure Kalahari Melon Facial Oil 5ml which is worth £19. Looking forward to trying it!

From Codex is 20ml of their Bia Skin Superfood 20ml which is worth £12.80. Nice to see Skin & Tonic's Plump Up Hydration Serum 20ml £18.60 in there too. REN's Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream mini 10ml is worth £9.80. It was also fab to see Ecooking's Fragrance Free Day Cream 50ml (full size) which is worth £32. From Balance Me is 10ml (£10) of their fantastic Hyaluronic Plumping Mist. Rounding up the box is (another one I'll pass on) is Garnier's Organic Rosy Glow 3-in-1 Youth Cream 50ml (full size) and worth £8.99. Also some of the brands are offering discount codes, some of which are valid until the end of the year (and in some cases beyond). Pick yours up HERE.

August Empties

I'm not going to use anything else up in August so here are my August empties. If it's marked * I've kindly been sent the product to review.

As you'll know I'm a huge fan of Butterwhips. I used up their Traditionally Floral & Exotically Tranquil Body Butters 25g each which were gorgeous. See my review HERE. Would buy again. Escentric Molecules Molecule 03 (30ml) I absolutely love this vertiver scent & have just opened a new one. I used up 2 sample vials - Miller Harris Poirier du Soir which is deliciously fruity & Kenzo Flowers EDT which is sublime. Would buy both full size. Tata Harper Hyaluronic Gel Moisturizer 10ml is perfect for summer. I had the pleasure of trying Scottish brand Deerieo & fell head over heels for their Aurora Face Oil Serum 10ml* review. It's on the wishlist! I simply adore Floral Street's Electric Rhubarb 10ml. I always have a back up! The Oribe duo were fab (Gold Lust Shampoo & Conditioner both 50ml). Really luxurious. I adore this brand!

Organic Youth Skincare Escape Organic Bath & Body Oil 15ml. I truly loved this stunning oil which is scented with Jasmine, Vanilla, Sweet Orange & Sandalwood - review. Buying next month!  It was good to revisit Temple Spa and I loved the La La Lagoon Bath & Shower Gel 30ml. I adore every Dr Hauschka product I try and their Rose Nurturing Bath Essence 100ml* is simply sublime. See my review HERE. It's on the wishlist! Siam Ginger is one of my favourite bath & shower therapy scents from Bodhi & Birch. Sure to buy again soon! I used their Botanic Dew Hand & Body Wash for hands and I love it's uplifting scent. Will buy again (both 200ml). Rounding up my empties this month is Organic Works Lavender Hand Wash 300ml* which is gorgeous. Will buy again at some point. What have you been using up this month?

Latest in Beauty: Hot Right Now Edit: June

I couldn't resist signing back up to Latest in Beauty when Floral Street's Mini Discovery Set - Light was announced as being the Haul of Fame product for June. This little set contains 5 x 1.5ml vegan perfumes and costs £9.  A 3-product sub costs that! (although I signed up for 3 months for £24 - a saving of £3). I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a mini branded Latest in Beauty branded pouch (with hey gorgeous on the reverse).

Inside the Floral Street set is their brand new July launch - Arizona Bloom, along with London Poppy, Wonderland Peony, Neon Rose and my fav Electric Rhubarb (REVIEW). I'm enjoying trying the new-to-me ones out.

My other two picks were from Patchology in the form of their Moodpatch Chill Mode Eye Gels - single use pack (£3) and Poo-Pourri Before-You-Go Toilet Spray (29ml) in Original Citrus (50 uses bottle) which is worth £5.99. The extra treat is 25% off at L'atelier Green - the first ever bio-sourced & breathable nail polish formula!

Floral Street: Electric Rhubarb EdP 10ml

Having tried a sample vial of Electric Rhubarb EdP via Feel Unique's pick 'n' mix samples I decided to pick up a 10ml bottle of the said scent (RRP £24, although I had a voucher code which came via the samples for £3.95 making the perfume a very affordable treat!)

It's the perfect scent for coming into Spring - a luscious white floral with fruity notes of sharp and deliciously sweet rhubarb. It's perfect for daytime taking you into evening time.

With notes of Rhubarb, Australian Sandalwood, Island Gardenia Frangipani and Jasmine Sambac. It really is a delight.

The range is Vegan and wide ranging - you're bound to find at least one or two you fall head-over-heels in love with.  They are also perfect for layering. See the collection HERE. Are you a Floral Street fan?

February Buys: Zara Emotions Perfume Collection, Connock London, Old Faithful, Floral Street, Jordan Samuel & FU Beauty Kit

After a long January I jumped in and bought a few things:

Zara has brought out a fabulous affordable EdP perfume line called Emotions Perfume Collection in collab with Jo Malone. The shop was really busy after a long January (and the perfumes right at the till) so I was unable to linger and try them all out - I'll be back! I picked up two - 40ml of Vetiver Pamplemousse (grapefruit, mandarin & vetiver) (£15.99) and a 10ml rollerball of Fleur De Patchouli (peony, patchouli & guaic wood) (£5.99). Both are heavenly.

A travel set by award winning Connock London which features 4 x 75ml travel products - Manuka Honey Hand & Body Wash/Lotion and Andiroba Oil Hand & Body Wash/Lotion (£8 in the sale). These are very generous travel/try me sizes and so far I'm loving them (I'll try and keep a couple for my next trip!) A review is to come.

Old Faithful Makers' Balm Hand Balm which I picked up in the sale. This is a pot of delight and I'll review it very soon.

Jumping on the Jordan Samuel Skin bandwagon! I'm looking forward to trying The After Show Treatment Cleanser 94ml (£20 - I got it for £17 as I had a discount code). Again, review to come.

I tried a sample vial of Floral Street's Electric Rhubarb EdP in the Pick'n'Mix. Absolutely loved this fruity floral. Again, I had a discount code (and Feel Unique were offering 11% TCB at the time).

I'm loving Feel Unique's new Beauty Kit (5 deluxe samples for £12 plus £3.95 p&p (the p&p is redeemable in the form of a code) which comes with a clear zip bag (ideal for travel). I'm pretty chuffed with my picks this month and a proper review will follow (and brighter pictures - roll on light nights!)
