Latest Buys: Balneaves, Sulom Hair Care, Madara, Claremont Studio, Odacite, Catherine Aitken

I know, I know, I should stop buying but it's something which keeps me sane and brings me joy in lockdown times. I promise to be better in June and use and enjoy the products I have. These are my latest purchases:

I blame my friend and colleague Sam for this buy. She bought two sample boxes and said the melt were gorgeous.... you know the drill... Scottish Borders based company, Balneaves are offering sampler sets at £6.99 with free p&p. Their soy wax melts are highly fragranced and rather lovely.. (I also signed up to their monthly subscription box whoops).

This is May's monthly box, which just arrived on Friday:

I connected with Sulom Hair Care on Instagram and purchased a bottle of their Hibiscus & Rose Infused Hair Oil £7.99 (30ml). I think the packaging is superb - very appealing to me. The hair oil seems really nice (I've used it once so far and it left my hair feeling silky soft) and a review will follow (although if I buy it again I'll request for it to be scented (extra charge).

40% off Madara at Naturisimo, no brainer really when their Moonflower Rose Beige Tinting Fluid is a staple. I also picked up one of their latest launches - Melting Cleansing Oil (my order was £27, the cost of the Tinting Fluid on it's own).

Having loved my recent order from Claremont Studio (Relax Gift SetREVIEW) I couldn't resist the new Discovery Kit (£20) a review will follow for this 'un!

As soon as I saw Odacite's new Mood Cleansing Salts I had to have them! I picked them up Content Beauty and received a couple of free samples with my order (happiness). A review will follow.

Not technically a buy-by-me, hubby bought me a couple of Catherine Aitken's gorgeous Cotton Face Masks which I'll be using when visiting the supermarket (I've found people just don't know how to keep their distance!) I've now got my eye on their Cotton Pouches and Traveller Messenger Bags!

Claremont Studio: Relax Gift Set

I'm not 100% sure where I spotted Claremont Studio it might have been Instagram ads but wherever it was, I'm so glad I did. If you sign up to the Candle Club you'll get 10% off your first order as well as a newsy newsletter with handy hints, new product announcements and discounts.

Award Winning Scottish Artist and Founder, Tracey Johnston has been exhibiting her paintings and prints for many years, many of which are held in public and private art collections. She also creates beautiful candles, wax melts and gift sets which are quite frankly, gorgeous! (you can check out the other things in the shop & for me, Boxwood Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint Piccolo Seeds are also on my #buysoon list!)

I picked up Relax Gift Set (£18.00 plus £3.50 p&p) which is perfect for just now when you need lots of TLC, relaxation and calm (well I do!) My package came so exquisitely packaged/wrapped it made my day, if not month! It's the little things...

WOW so much gorgeousness!

Everything is so carefully wrapped and such a pleasure to open..

The little soapstone diffuser is honestly the cutest thing (it can also be used as a standalone candle holder which casts little star shapes when lit). Also inside the set are four soy wax melts and six soy wax melt shapes which are scented with essential oils of relaxing lavender, fragrant marjoram, balancing bergamot and comforting petitgrain along with dried lavender flowers.

It's the perfect blend to burn just before bed or when you need a moment of calm. Also inside the package is a spring of hand tied dried lavender which is a nice touch and you are treated to an extra little candle - which is a very welcome, unexpected and joyful touch!

I've been really enjoying my Relax Gift Set - pick yours up HERE

Latest Buys: Old Man & Magpie, The Soap Mine, LJ Natural, Claremont Studio, Evolve, The Nue Co, Lynsey Walters Jewellery, Sol de Janeiro & Vichy

I picked up wax samples of the whole range from Old Man & Magpie (which I've been testing out in my wax burner). These aren't standalone products but just little testers so you can get the just of the scents - my I-will-buy-soon-as-candles so far are: Lavender, Sea Salt & Sage and Earl Grey & Cucumber. My review of Greenhouse candle is coming soon! (I really wish they'd sell wax melts).

There was a mad rush for The Soap Mine's Sample Selections. I managed to nab the second last ones in the essential oil selection which features all six of the regular essential oil bars. These are the end pieces of the soap log which are great try-me-sizes. I'll do a fuller review once I get the chance to try them out!

LJ Natural gorgeous Letterbox Gift - Make Someone's Day which I reviewed HERE.

Claremont Studio's gorgeous Relax Gift Set which was so exquisitely wrapped - it made my day if not week! This set is incredible and a review is coming! I loved getting a little free candle with my order too (it's the little things..)

I had a discount voucher from Naturisimo from doing a survey and of course had to pick up a couple of things!

Evolve's Daily Apple Hair & Body Wash (£16 - 250ml) had been on the wishlist after I received a trial size in one of Naturisimo's discovery boxes - Veganuary. A review will come. The second item I selected is from new-to-me brand The Nue Co's Regularity Relief (30 x 4g) as I sometimes have trouble with constipation. Again, I'll let you know how I find these.

These Lynsey Walters Little Rain Cloud Earrings, with Rainbow Rain (£28 - discount if you sign up to the newsletter) make me smile. Super quirky and fun. I also think it's good to support small businesses during this time.

I'm a huge Sol de Janeiro bum bum cream fan (I love that delicious vanilla-y aroma) and so couldn't resist this little Tiny Travelers kit (£12) from Feel Unique which has me dreaming of holidays....

I also picked up a Vichy Mineral 89 Instant Recovery Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask (£8) after I saw Jane's REVIEW.
