Shopping My Stash #33

Here's what I'm using this week -

Bloom Remedies Daily Balance Cream with Sweet Orange, Geranium and Rose 30ml - this came in my recent Souk Souk box. I'm a huge Bloom Remedies fan. This moisturiser smells amazing! Light and aromatic it sinks easily into the skin leaving it hydrated and lightly scented. It also contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, Vitamin E and meadowfoam oils.  You can see my post on other Bloom Remedies products here and here.

Lanolips Lip Ointment with Colour SPF 15 12.5g Rose* - I'm a huge Lanolips fan and this gives a light wash of pale pink colour - it's really pretty.  You can see my review of the original ointment here.

Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel 10g* - I sometimes get blackheads on my chin and this works wonders at getting rid of them.  See my review here.

Madara Moon Flower Rose Beige Tinting Fluid 50ml - I received a sample of this in May's Amarya Box. Simply love it! I either wear it alone of mix it into a bit of foundation.  It adds moisture and illuminates the skin.

Wellgreen Lewes Rose Body Mist 50ml - a refreshing and lightly scented rose mist which is gorgeous for refreshing the skin.  See my review on the rose basket I bought from Amanda here.

Aveda Smoothing Body Polish 40ml - this came in the Aveda Editor's Picks box from Latest in Beauty. A really lovely, not too scrubby body polish which smell gorgeous!  What a great box that was!

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Treatment Mask for Fine Hair 100ml - this also came in a Latest in Beauty Box. Huge fan of the range and this is fab. Just perfect for my hair type. It leaves it moisturised, glossy and smooth.

British Beauty Blogger Edit Box

My British Beauty Blogger beauty box arrived yesterday!  A limited edition box (there were only 500 and they sold out in a matter of hours). Jane has confirmed there will be a Christmas box (available in November) - I'd suggest you sign up to Jane's emails or follow her on Twitter  so you will be among the first to know!

This amazing box cost just £15 (plus £4.55 P&P) and features Jane's most favourite beauty products.

Here's a picture of when I just opened the box. WOW!

Onto the contents:

Bess wanted in on the photo!

As a huge Jo Malone fan I was excited to see a 2ml sample of Jo Loves Pomelo - which has notes of Pink Pomelo, Rose, Clove, Vetivert, Suede & Patchouli - it's simply gorgeous!  Need to start saving for a full size bottle (30ml - £45, 100ml - £95).

A full size bottle of Trilogy Rosehip Face Oil (20ml - £16.50) - I'm a huge fan of this face oil so pleased to see it included in the box.

The next three items are Elemis Tri Enzyme Face Mask 15ml - I've also used this product before.  It is a gel mask which removes dead skin cells leaving the skin clear and radiant.

There is a Neom Hand Cream 50ml in Complete Bliss Moroccan Blush Rose - my most favourite hand cream...ever - so I'm pleased to have a back up! See my review here.

Philosophy Purity Cleanser 90ml - A 3-in-1 cleanser for face and eyes which removes make up, cleanses, tones and hydrates the skin.

Next up is BIOEFFECT Serum 2.5ml - I love this! It helps with wrinkles and pigmentation and brightens the complexion.

Melvita is another favourite brand - included is Orange Blossom Extraordinary Water 28ml - this is nice and refreshing for spritzing onto the skin anytime of the day. Can also be used for toning.  The Apicosma Body Balm 15ml smells sweetly of apricots.  Looking forward to trying both of these.

CND SolarOil 3.7ml - a 'hero' product which helps keep nails strong, hydrated and supple.  I'm trying to grow my nails just now so this little oil will help!

Finally the make-up!

B Mascara 8ml (£9.99) - Superdrug's own brand - a lengthening & defining mascara which is water resistant and smudge proof.  Looking forward to trying this!

Benefit The POREfessional 7.5ml - a huge fan of this especially to pat on afternoon shine.

Bourjois Cream Blush - this is a cute peach shade - looking forward to trying it out! Full size product.

Illamasqua Liquid Metal Eye Shadow in Electrum 8g - another full size product. This is only my second make up item from the brand so looking forward to trying it out.

Finally, a full size Lanolips Lip Balm 17.5ml in shade Rhubarb - I'm a huge Lanolips fan but not tried this shade yet.

Included is also a range of money off codes from the brands included in the box and an informative leaflet with a message from Jane on the front.

An amazing box.  What are your thoughts?  Did you manage to pick one up?

Lanolips Triple Buttermilk Body Balm 170ml

I was recently sent Lanolips Triple Buttermilk Body Balm* (170ml - £13.99) to review.

I'm already a huge fan of Lanolips 101 Ointment and you can see my mini review here.

A rich balm for use on very dry skin.  I've been using it on my legs mainly and my feet.  The cream keeps them moisturised all day long.

Contains a triple concentration of Ultra Pure Medical Grade Lanolin, milk extracts and Vitamin E.

The thick balm is easy to massage into the skin concentrating on dry areas.  Leaves the skin super moisturised and soft.  My only negative is I'm not really keen on the scent (so I've been avoiding using it on my upper body) but I do love the balm's moisturising properties.

To use: Apply to dry skin, gently massaging onto the skin's surface and allow to settle.  Skin will remain hydrated and soft for hours.

You can buy online from Boots, Victoria Health or Zuneta. You can also buy some of the range in Boots.

Lanolips 101 Ointment

I first tried Lanolips 101 Ointment via the Latest in Beauty YOU box where a 1g sample sachet was included. Love it.

Lanolips creator, Kirsten Carriol used to spend holidays on her grandparents sheep farm in South Australia as a child.  Lanolin is a natural substance taken from just shorn sheep wool.  Lanolips uses 100% pure grade Lanolin and the ointment contains 100% naturally derived ingredients and is fragrance and colour free.

It has loads of uses - as a glossy lip balm, for cuticles, dry skin areas etc. The balm is quite thick so I tend to rub a small amount on my fingertips before applying to lips.  Retails at £11.22 at Boots.

Latest in Beauty - YOU 20 Years of Beauty Greats Discovery Box

Guess what arrived this morning?  My YOU Latest in Beauty Box.  It's fabulous! It comes in a pink and white cardboard box.

It's so worth the £5.95 plus £2.95 P&P.

It contains:

30ml Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (with cloth) which retails at £5.25.

5ml Sisley Sisleya Global Anti-Age Day & Night Cream (50ml of this retails at £243.00!)  Would never be able to afford this cream so looking forward to trying the sample pot.

mini pot and brush BareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation - they have given us a tiny amount which will probably last about twice!  Still, I suppose its enough to try the product out - I already love this product.

Bamford Geranium Trio - the bath oil is my favourite! 30ml bath oil, 50ml body wash and 50ml body lotion.  I've had this trio before as Latest in Beauty luxury samples - gorgeous!

Dr Nick Lowe Oil Control Day Cream 20ml - a good size sample - will look forward to trying this.  I already love the cooling menthol face mask in the range which you can read about here.

Finally, a sachet of Lanolips 101 Ointment - keep reading about this so keen to try!
