Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box - July 2019 - Bon Voyage

My July Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box arrived at the weekend and it's stuffed with things suitable for summer and holidays. This is the last monthly box. You can sign up for a bi-monthly box (next one's September - £25 every two months) HERE

Remember you can get 10% off your first box with BEAUTYBALM10. Inside this month are 3 new to me products and 1 new to me brand. As ever, it's a cracker!

And for a closer look...

I'll be packing that tin of Badger Balm Organic Aftersun Balm with Blue Tansy & Lavender (56g - £9.99) for my summer hols. It smells glorious. A review will follow.

From Skin Alchemists Apothecary we have a 10ml travel size (£30) of their Sesenne Luxury Renewal Elixir which is a blend of 26 skin loving oils (this also appeared in Love Lula's July Beauty Box).

I've tried No Secrets Beauty before via the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box and also as a Beauty Shortlist Judge. It's a beautiful brand and this new Bath Jelly in "one" scent (15ml - £7.50) is definitely in the treat category! Apply it over the body before sinking into a warm bath/or use it in the shower. The jelly will transform into a luxurious oil. I just love this one! So luxe with a exquisite scent.

From new to me brand Bain+Savon we have their gorgeous Peony Salt Foot Scrubs (£5) which I love the look of - so sweet! Perfect to get your feet sandal ready!

Rounding up the box is a fab facial mist by AA Skincare their Frankincense & Rose Face Toner (50ml - £3.95) which I reviewed HERE.

As ever, it's a fabulous box with carefully curated products and brands suitable for summertime use.  Are you a subscriber, what are your thoughts on the contents this month?

Souk Souk July Box

My last Souk Souk box was in May - see here.  I wasn't wowed by the contents and cancelled my subscription.  The June box did perk my interest and when I saw the July box I was sold!

Here's the contents -

Sranrom Spa Calm Down Hand Cream 30ml (£3.20)  - I've heard of this brand but have never used any of their products - this hand cream smells amazing! Scented with spearmint, lemongrass and kaffir limes it super moisturises the hands and nails - I love it!

VitaBella Anti-Ageing Face Cream 15ml (£9) - a brand I've not heard of before. It hydrates the skin and can be used AM and PM. Going to try it out soon.

Pure Thoughts Mint & Avocado Foot Repair Balm  10g (£7.99) - I'm a huge Pure Thoughts fan already! This minty balm is 100% natural and it softens and refreshes tired feet - just perfect for this summer weather.

Badger Organic Sleep Balm 21g (£4.50) - I'm a huge fan of Badger and looking forward to trying this out. Can be applied to pulse points, under the nose to aid sleep or be used as a calming lip balm - I do love a multi-purpose product!

Glam 3-in-1 Lip Suite in Rose Pink (£8.99) - preservative free, vegan, vegetarian and Halal approved lip balm, colour and lip gloss all in one.  Again another brand I've not heard of.

I love this month's box.  What are your thoughts?

Spending Ban - Update 3

Things are going quite well surprisingly although I did buy InStyle magazine for the free beauty supplement.  It gives me hours of enjoyable reading and deciding what products I want to try.  I also picked up my free L'Occitane Hand Cream for L'Occitane reaching 75k fans on Facebook.  I picked Shea Butter (30ml) worth £8.  I also got a nice surprise parcel from Grace at All that Slap Blog - thanks so much Grace!  There is a little surprise in the post to you.

I'm still enjoying using my paperblanks* journal for recording my spending/wants.  I think after the ban finishes I'll use it for blog post ideas and keep recording wants.

Here are the things I've been wanting this week:

RMS BeautyLip2Cheek in Smile - £28 - a tinted mineral stain which can be used on lips and cheeks.  Such a pretty shade.

The Organic Pharmacy Rose Balm (£25 for 10ml) - A new product from The Organic Pharmacy - a multi-purpose balm suitable for lips, nails, hair, and dry skin on the face and body.  Contains Rose, Marigold, Argan Oil, Vitamin E, Rosehip and Shea Butter.  I love a multi-purpose product and I bet this one smells divine!

Mitchell & Peach Kentish Cobnut Scrub (£36 for 260g) - I read about this in the beauty pages of Psychologies magazine last week.  Sounds like just my kind of scrub - I like a gritty one and this contains ground shell from cobnuts, sugar, coconut, sweet almond and palmarosa, honey and lavender essential oil.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler - £20 - have read so many great reviews about these especially Mez's at All Made Up.

Badger Yoga & Meditation Balm (£6.09 - 28g) - this sounds ideal for de-stressing and calm.

Tara Smith Shampoo & Conditioner - I'm unable to download a photo but you can pick this vegan and natural hair care range at M&S.

How is your spending ban going?  Have you been tempted to buy anything?
