Cult Beauty Spring 2017 Goody Bag

As ever Cult Beauty's Spring 2017 Goody Bag, which was worth over £210 and free with a £110 spend sold out in record time. I picked up pressies and two things for me. The goody bag is so good and I'm looking forward to testing everything out.

The two things that I bought:

I needed new tweezers and I'd heard lots of good things about these ones by Swiss Brand, Rubis. At goody bag time I always stock up on my favourite Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts - I've been using these since 2013 and if I could only use one bath product - it would be these! See my review HERE.

And now for a closer look at the goody bag:

The BrowGal Eyebrow Gel (Full size) £17
Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey (sample size)
Sigma Mini Blending Brush E25 (as you'll see I've already used it!)
Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip in Versailles (Full size) £16 - Cult Beauty say this is "mauve pink" but it's brown on my lips. Not in love with the colour but love the staying power - will look at other colours for sure.

Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask (Cucumber Deep Moisture) x 1 £8
Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm 15ml (already a fan)
Hannes Dottir Seamasque 10ml (looking forward to trying)
Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser 15ml
Odacite Pimple Serum Concentrate 5ml (full size) £27.50

Verso Super Facial Serum 10ml
SkynIceland Plumping Lip Gel x 1 use
Alpha H Liquid Gold 24 hr Moisture Repair Cream 15ml
BECCA First Light Priming Filter 6ml
Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser 20ml

OUAI Haircare Wave Spray 30ml
Sachajuan Hair Repair 100ml (worth £12)

Shopping My Stash #38

These are the products I'm reaching for this week:

bare innocence Cocoa & Shea Butter Cream* (£8 - 100ml) - I was sent this lush body butter to review. It's scented with Jasmine, Orange and Geranium and is perfect to use to uplift and moisturise the body.

Ancienne Ambiance Goddess Rose Water Spray 30ml* - a spray scented with roses which can be used as a toner, a face mist and as a light cleanser.

ila Face Oil for Glowing Radiance* (10ml) a simply wonderful face oil scented with rose. See my reviews here and here. This is one of the nicest facial oils I've ever used.

ila Day Cream for Glowing Radiance* (20g) - a rich cream which I use either mixed with the face oil or alone.  See my review here. Again, this is one I'd purchase.

Wild Honey Apothecary Strawberry Honey Mud - I received this in my swap from Jen. This is an amazing mask handmade by Kat in Winconsin. It smells exactly like strawberries. Packed full of good things it leaves the skin glowing and radiant. Fuller review to follow.

BECCA Beach Tint in Grapefruit 7ml - a grapefruit scented lip and cheek tint. A really wearable shade. This came in a free gift from SpaceNK this week.

Neal's Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream (50ml) - this lovely hand cream was a magazine freebie a while back. Super gorgeous, smells of oranges and helps save the bees.

Current Primers

I think I've got a primer problem! These are my current ones -

Lancome Effet Miracle Bare Skin Perfection Primer - 15ml (£26).  This comes in two shades I've got the 01 - Porcelain Effect (also available in 02 Healthy Glow Effect).  Inspired by Asian BB base formulas this primer illuminates the skin, makes pores less visible, wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed, helps to make skin texture more even, makes shine less visible, flaws are minimised and is quite hydrating.  This is one of my favourite primers and I'd probably purchase it again but it is pricey.

Stila One Step Correct Brightening Serum 30ml (£24) - this came in the Selfridges Beauty Box.  A really nice primer which evens out the skin tone and helps make up last longer.  It's also really hydrating.  I'd re-purchase this one.

BECCA Resurfacing Primer 15ml (40ml - £32) - I got this in a gift set.  This primer is great for unwanted shine in the T-zone.  It also helps with pores.  Fine lines are smoothed and oil absorbing polymers help to minimise shine.  Can use alone or under foundation.  Love this - just perfect for my combination skin type.

Laura Mercier Radiance Primer 15ml (full size - £28) - Again I received this as a gift with purchase.  This primer has a pearl tint which give the skin a soft glow.  Can be worn alone or under foundation.  A radiant dewy finish which minimises imperfections and fine lines.  Suitable for all skin types.

Benefit The POREfessional 22ml (£23.50) - great for minimising pores and I love using this mainly for afternoon shine over nose/cheeks.  It is expensive though (unsure if I'd buy this again full size but I did pick up a few with Glamour a few months back - link).

Benefit That Gal 7.5ml (11ml - £21.50) - another one I picked up with Glamour magazine.  I love the smell of this - its like strawberries!  I liked how this primer brightened my skin but I'd be unlikely to repurchase it due to the price.

bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer (30ml - £19) - I got this in a value try-me set.  A clear primer which is good for enlarged pores, uneven texture, dryness. Gives a good base for adding foundation - feels silky on the skin.  A nice primer.

RMK Make Up Base 15ml (30ml - £28) - this came from May's Joliebox. For normal to dry skin types so not ideal for my combination skin.  A nice product with a dewy finish but it didn't help to make my foundation last so wouldn't purchase.

Murad Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish 5ml (30ml - £29) - this came in January's Glossybox.  I love this light tinted primer which gives a shine free finish and a radiant glow!  Sometimes wear it on its own too.

Giorgio Armani Fluid Master Primer 5ml (£34 full size) - makes the skin super smooth - a perfect canvas for foundation.  Leaves skin looking fresh.

What's your favourite primer?  Have you used any of these?
