YOU Beauty Box: The CEW Awards Edit

I was sad to learn that September is the last month of YBB (after four years). They are joining forces with Latest in Beauty. Sad times. I did love my little £6.95 box! I was happy I'd re-joined this month as the choices for September were fabby.

I picked:

The Beauty Kitchen Seahorse Plankton 5 Minute Miracle Mask (60ml and worth £14.99!). It smells beautiful and I'm looking forward to trying it. Expect a review soon!

My second pick was Yes To Coconut Ultra Moisture Conditioner for Dry Hair (280ml - £5.99).

The extras: Weleda Jardin de Vie Grenade perfume sample vial and Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor deep treatment sachet.

You Beauty Box: Organic & Natural: April

This month's shortlist was Organic & Natural products. As ever I went for the 2 items at £6.95 with a couple of small extras. See HERE.

My picks:

AA Skincare Green Tea & Aloe Vera Cleansing Wipes x 25 wipes (£3.30) - sometimes only wipes will do! Especially after a night out or on holiday. I'm looking forward to trying out these natural wipes (which are alcohol, paraben and fragrance free) as I already really rate this brand.

My second pick is an old favourite Jurlique's Rosewater Balancing Mist 15ml (£5) see my mini review HERE. I've not had this in my stash for a while so looking forward to using it again.

Awake Organic Co: Aura Clean Natural Deodorant

I hadn't had a YOU Beauty Box for a while when quite by chance I spotted Awake Organics Co's new Aura Clean Natural Deodorant was a pick! (March) Inside was a sample size (10g) full size (30ml - which currently retails at £13.99). My sample pot has 21 uses making it a great try me.

Packaging is just exquisite (and recyclable). All products in the range are "handcrafted with joy" and are free from parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals and aluminium.

The scent is citrus, floral and herby (lavender, rosemary, lemongrass and peppermint) which is a naturally antibacterial formula. The deodorant has a light balm like texture which is easy to apply to the underarm area. It leaves the skin feeling comfortable and fresh.

It's not an antiperspirant so won't stop perspiration. It will provide all day protection however and left me feeling fresh and odour free all day! The formula contains arrowroot powder and British kaolin which help absorb natural perspiration. 

To use: apply a pea size amount to the underarm area and rub in.

I've been really impressed with the effectiveness of this deodorant (hubby loved it too) so will pick up full size soon.

YOU Beauty Box: March 2017: Best of British

I've not been a YOU Beauty Box Member for a couple of months now but after spying new brand Awake Organics as a pick I just couldn't resist signing up again.

This month the choices are "Best of British" beautiful brands homegrown in the UK. As ever I picked 2 products for £6.95 (you can have 3 for £8.95 and 4 for £10.95).

Onto my picks:

Aura Clean Deodorant 10g (21 uses) from new to me brand Awake Organics. Inside this little pot of wonder is a 100% non-toxic and aluminum free natural deodorant which helps you stay fresh all day long. It's scented with Lavender, Rosemary, Lemongrass and Peppermint and contains British clay, arrowroot and sodium bicarbonate to help you stay feeling fresh and odour free. Looking forward to testing this out.  The packaging is super cute too.

My second pick is also a new to me brand The Hero Project, which has been on my radar for a while now. In the selection this month is their Vit C-30 Ultra Brightening Serum 8ml which I'm also excited to try.

Shopping my Stash #84

It's January so it's got to be Shopping my Stash time! Here's what I've been reaching for:

Indie Lee COQ 10 Toner sample - I received this in my recent ABW A/W '16 Sampler Box. It's a product I'd used before and loved. Will be adding full size to the wishlist as it deeply refreshes and tones the skin.

From Cult Beauty's recent goody bag I received a full size Jouer Cosmetics Long Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipstick in Lychee which is a really pretty longlasting shade.

I got the Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner minis via my YOU Beauty Box in December. I absolutely love them. They make my hair look and feel amazing. Definitely want full size soon!

Diptyque's Eau Rose roll on I've had for ages. It has a deep rosey scent and I love it. See my review HERE.

I'm a huge fan of Schmidt's Natural Deodorants (review). My favourite being Bergamot+Lime. Naturisimo have introduced a new one - Rose+Vanilla - and it's gorgeous! You can pick up a sample size or full size HERE.

YOU Beauty Box: Pamper, Party, Repeat with Feel Unique

This month YBB is in association with Feel Unique and entitled Pamper, Party, Repeat. I chose 2 items again which costs £6.95 including P&P and extras. The extras this month are a 15% code off any items December Shortlist at Feel Unique and a Narciso EdP sample vial.

I picked:

FOREO Night Cleanser 100ml which is a full size item and worth £30. It starts as a silken gel before melting into a velvety milk. Looking forward to trying this!

My second pick is a Pureology duo - Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner (both 50ml). This is a brand I've wanted to try for a while. Great for colour treated hair the products are sulphate free and 100% Vegan.

This month's You Beauty Box was entitled "The Luxe Gift Guide Edit". As usual I went for the original box - 2 items plus extras for £6.95 including P&P and my picks were:

I've missed a few months of the You Beauty Box, mainly due to holidays and nothing really taking my fancy. I jumped back in when I spotted this month's picks.

I chose to stay with the original format - 2 items for £6.95. You can now pay more and get more - 3 products for £8.96 and 4 products for £10.95. See HERE.  The extras this month are a packet of popcorn, a nanoblur sachet (2ml) and The Hero Project Hyasoft Instant Moisture Boost sachet (3ml).

The Erno Laszlo Firm & Lift Firmarine Hydrogel Mask (single use) is worth £14! Looking forward to trying it.

My second pick is Weleda's cult product Skin Food 30ml which is worth £6.95. It deeply nourishes and calms dry and rough skin making it great for elbows, knees and feet.

My YOU Beauty Box (£6.95) arrived yesterday and I can't wait to delve in! This month it's the Cult Beauty Edit and I chose SHOW Beauty Pure Treatment Oil 60ml which is worth £50! The packaging is absolutely exquisite and really luxurious and I can't wait to try! My second pick was Rodial's Stem Cell Cleansing Cream 70ml which is scented with roses. I love that you can use it as a cleanser or as a mask. Reviews will follow!

I wasn't going to but as soon as I saw the You Beauty Boxes arriving I knew I didn't want to miss out this month so I re-subscribed. Boxes cost £6.95 including P&P. You chose two items and you get a couple of extras.

This month's choices were great. I chose:

AD Skin Synergy Organic Rose Geranium Nourishing Night Treatment Ltd. Edition (50ml - which is worth £38) I previously tried their original blend see my review here. I'm looking forward to testing this one out and a full review will follow.

My second pick is Dr Organic Organic Hemp Oil Intensive Eye Serum (15ml - worth £8.99) huge fan of the Dr Organic range and always on the lookout for the perfect eye product so happy to try this one out.
