Travel Treats Selection

You can see my birthday swap from my friend Julie HERE. She gave me a box of Travel Treats which I'm showing you now in this post. It's jam-packed!

There's a load of travel size sachets which will be great for my next holiday. Including hair goodies from Kerastase, Ojon and rahua. Dr Bronner's peppermint pure castile soap is my product and scent of choice for cleaning my make up brushes. There is also a cute mirror, some Quintessentially English bath salts, Murad Oil Control Mattifier sachets and a Kiehl's Line Reducer concentrate sachet.

I was really pleased to receive Aromatherapy Associates Instant Inner Strength Roll on which helps in times of stress and their Inner Strength Bath Oil (my fav AA bath oil scent!). There is also a Deep Relax Balm which helps to relax and calm. I already love Jurlique's Rose Love Balm and Nuxe's Huile Prodigieuse.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, Kiehl's Nashi Blossom & Grapefruit Body Cleanser (I've got the perfume of this scent - see my review of it HERE), Kiehl's Creme de Corps, Gardener's Hand Healer, Nuxe's Youth Radiance Revealing Cream and a Cowshed Lippy Cow Lip Balm.

balance me's latest Revitalising Hand & Body Wash, Hotel Chocolate's Ti Jardin Conditioning Body Butter (this smells lush), my favourite (and now discontinued) Neom Complete Bliss Hand Cream review HERE and my essential Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts review HERE.

Korres Citrus Shower Gel, Little Body Milk and a Calendula Softening Soap.

Dior Addict Lip Colour in Rose Nuisette which is a pretty shimmery shade - ideal with a tan!

Thanks again Julie. Really love everything you picked for me!

April Empties

Here's my April empties:

Lubatti Pure Indulgence Wild Violet Bath Oil 200ml - this was really nice to use - a light bath oil with a violet scent.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Repair Night Oil 2ml - one of the nicest face oils I've ever used. Sure to purchase at some point. I'm using a luxury sample size at the moment.

Macadamia Rejuventating Shampoo (10ml) sachet* and Macadamia Moisturising Rinse (10ml) sachet* - these were really nice to use and I got two uses per sachet. Left my hair soft, bouncy and shiny. Will definitely pick up full sizes are some point.

Quintessentially English Rose Bath Oil Elixir 50ml - this was a beautiful bath oil deeply scented with roses which made bathing a delight! Sure to buy once my stash depletes a bit.

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml x 2 - my favourite Aromatherapy Associates bath oil. Sure to buy the full size at some point.  See my review here

Bamford Geranium Botanical Bath Oil 30ml - another favourite. Got a couple of these in my stash to use.

A love of roses

I adore rose scents and roses are one of my favourite flowers (along with thistles)  Here are a few rose scented products I'm loving right now.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil* - my all time favourite bath oil. See my review here.

Jo Malone Red Roses Candle - I received this as a present from hubby. I do try to ration burning it as I'd never treat myself to one!  It smells so deeply of red roses and scents the whole room (you can even smell it into the next day). See my mini review here.

MIMI & ME Tea Rose Candle* - a beautiful eco friendly soy wax candle which is woody, floral and smells so rosey.  I reviewed the Christmas Bliss Candle* here.  The tea rose candle is scented with Palmarosa, Geranium, Sweet Orange, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Patchouli and Amyris essential oils. Smells of roses with a hint of spice and citrus.  Gorgeous!

Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil for Face & Eyes* - huge fan of this rose scented oil. Massage it into the skin and then add a touch of water which turns it milky. Remove with a warm damp muslin cloth. Great for removing the most stubborn make up and leaving the skin clean, refreshed and comfortable. Naturisimo have a fab new Melvita kit which includes 35ml of this cleansing oil - see here (£9.99).

Dr Organic Rose Otto Body Wash - this smells deeply of rose. Lathers well and cleans the skin. It has an uplifting scent.  Good price too! Huge fan of the Dr Organic Rose Otto range.

Marble & Milkweed Nourishing Body Oil* - I simply love this cardamon and rose scented oil. One of my favourite body oils.  See my review here.

Quintessentially English Rose Bath Oil - this lush oil is lightly scented with roses.  Great for a luxe and indulgent soak.

Wellgreen Lewes Rose Body Butter - I adore this decadent, buttery and rich rose scented body butter.  See my review here.

Are you a fan of rose scented products? If so, what are your favourites?

Quintessentially English - English Rose Mini Cupcake Melt & Handmade Soap

I spent a couple of hours down the veggie plot getting it ready for this season's growing yesterday. I just stopped digging to take the photo.

Afterwards I felt like a nice soak in the bath and decided to use a couple of the gorgeous Quintessentially English products I received from my friend Nardine at Christmas.  Remember that gorgeous box of English Rose goodies!

Quintessentially English was founded by Jacqui Sheard who gave up work as a designer to make beautiful bath products and soaps. She is based in Lacock in Wiltshire and if you are in the area you are welcome to visit and see how the luxury hand made soaps are made.

The products contain no SLS, SLES, parabens or petrochemicals.  The finest organic oils, beeswax, herbal infusions and essential oils are used.

Aren't the products just gorgeous!

English Rose mini Cupcake Melt contains coconut oil and shea butter with a rosey scent. Makes for a relaxing soak.

English Rose Handmade Soap contains rose absolute and rose geranium essential oils and sprinkled with ground rosepetals.  It is hand stirred before being hand cut and decorated with rose buds and then wrapped.  It smells glorious and is really moisturising.

Have you used any Quintessentially English products before?

Bath Oils

I've got a few Aromatherapy Associates Bath & Shower Oils - Inner Strength 7.5ml (love the spicy cardamon notes), Revive Evening 7.5ml, 2 x Revive Morning 3ml.  These smell gorgeous and make for a great soak. I reviewed the Serene Bath Soak here.

I forgot these which are stored in a different place in the bathroom!

Ancienne Ambiance Rosa & Lavendula Salts samples* - You can see my review of the lovely Rosa Salts here.

Marble & Milkweed Rose & Cardamon Bathing Salts 10oz* - love these gorgeous scented salts.  See my review here.

inner-soul organics Scandinavian Angelica Refresh Bath & Shower Oil 30ml - this oil has a smokey scent and contains Thistle, Arctic Cranberry and Birch.  Full review will be up shortly. I received this in the prize I won from Fi at The Beauty Shortlist at Christmas.

Quintessentially English Rose Gift Box

My good friend Nardin at Live...Laugh...Love sent me a gorgeous hamper full of goodies - edibles, beauty and a candle. I'll do a full post of what she sent me after Christmas. I'm not good at keeping things so I must admit I did peek....and one of the lovely gifts was this beautiful rose scented gift box (from a company I've not heard of before!) The gift comes packaged in a lovely box.

Included in the set (which is truly pampering) is:

English Rose Bath Salts (100gms) - these smell divine and also contain rose petals. Makes for a great pampering bath. It is scented with Rose Absolute, Rose Geranium and Jasmine.

A mini bottle of English Rose Bath Oil - this smells deeply of roses. It can help aid relaxation. I've tried this once so far and the scent fills the bathroom and leaves the body smelling of roses. Blissful.

English Rose Organic Soap - this is topped with rosebuds - it's very feminine and pretty and smells like an "English rose garden".

Rosy Cupcake Bath Melt - beautifully presented in a tiny organza bag, this rose scented bath melt is simply gorgeous. Made with coconut and shea butters it moisturises the skin leaving is silky smooth.

I'll do fuller reviews when I try the product out. Thanks Nardin - a perfect gift for me as I love soaking in the bath and rose scents - you know me so well!
