YOU Beauty Discovery Box - Summer Essentials - August

I resubscribed to YOU Beauty Discovery this month as I thought the choices were excellent. The box costs an incredible £6.95 including P&P.

I'd hoped to pick up the Gazelli Skincare duo as one of my items but they sold out really quickly.

I was pleased to pick Just Be Botanicals Hydrating Serum 10ml which is worth £14.50!  I'm a huge fan of Gail's products having reviewed Just Be Nourished Body Butter here, Just Be Radiant Botanical Blend Tea here and Just Be Tranquil Body & Massage Oil here.  I have also had the wonderful Just Be Anti-Ageing and Just Be Fresh Faced facials.

The serum hydrates, firms and improves elasticity. Scented with Orange Blossom (divine) it is a natural toner and balances the emotions.  Apply a couple of drops to cleansed skin AM and PM.  Looking forward to trying this.

The second item I chose was the Louise Galvin Masque 100ml - I've used the shampoo & conditioner before so looking forward to trying out the masque. It is free from SLS, PEGs, Parabens, Silicone, Petrochemicals, Polymers and Synthetic fragrances. It will leave the hair hydrated, shiny, full of body and nourished.

Extra Treats - Jimmy Choo EDP & new Jimmy Choo MAN sample vials. I'm a huge fan of the woman's scent so this will be ideal for popping in my handbag, a four way nail buffer and a sachet of FaceD 3-LURONICS Instant Effect Cream Serum.

Shopping My Stash #33

Here's what I'm using this week -

Bloom Remedies Daily Balance Cream with Sweet Orange, Geranium and Rose 30ml - this came in my recent Souk Souk box. I'm a huge Bloom Remedies fan. This moisturiser smells amazing! Light and aromatic it sinks easily into the skin leaving it hydrated and lightly scented. It also contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, Vitamin E and meadowfoam oils.  You can see my post on other Bloom Remedies products here and here.

Lanolips Lip Ointment with Colour SPF 15 12.5g Rose* - I'm a huge Lanolips fan and this gives a light wash of pale pink colour - it's really pretty.  You can see my review of the original ointment here.

Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel 10g* - I sometimes get blackheads on my chin and this works wonders at getting rid of them.  See my review here.

Madara Moon Flower Rose Beige Tinting Fluid 50ml - I received a sample of this in May's Amarya Box. Simply love it! I either wear it alone of mix it into a bit of foundation.  It adds moisture and illuminates the skin.

Wellgreen Lewes Rose Body Mist 50ml - a refreshing and lightly scented rose mist which is gorgeous for refreshing the skin.  See my review on the rose basket I bought from Amanda here.

Aveda Smoothing Body Polish 40ml - this came in the Aveda Editor's Picks box from Latest in Beauty. A really lovely, not too scrubby body polish which smell gorgeous!  What a great box that was!

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Treatment Mask for Fine Hair 100ml - this also came in a Latest in Beauty Box. Huge fan of the range and this is fab. Just perfect for my hair type. It leaves it moisturised, glossy and smooth.

June Empties

Here's what I've been using up in June -

Pure Fiji Nourishing Coconut Exotic Oil 90ml - simply love this coconut scented oil although I found it didn't all melt this time and was a bit gritty towards the end.  Will probably pick it up again at some point though.

Elemis Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir 300ml - I received this in a QVC TSV a while back.  Nice to use but probably wouldn't re-purchase as I prefer bath oils to bubble baths these days.

Jo Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarin Bath Oil 30ml - received this for my birthday (I got two!) One of my favourite Jo Malone scents.  A real luxury.  Gorgeous!

Perricone MD Nutritive Cleanser 59ml - this came as a freebie a while back.  Really nice. Would consider purchasing it when I use up my stash!

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Conditioner for Fine Hair 100ml - this came in a Latest in Beauty Box.  Loved it and the shampoo would re-purchase.  See my review here.

Green People Moisturising Shower Gel 30ml - this came in last month's Souk Souk box.  Loved it and would buy again.

Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Shampoo 50ml - this came in the Aveda Latest in Beauty box a while back.  See here.  This was nice enough but I didn't like it enough to buy it again - great box though!

Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash 30ml - this came in a Souk Souk box.  Really lovely to use and one I'd consider buying again.

Stila Glowing Reviews Gentle Skin Renewal Scrub 10ml - this came in a WIMH set.  Loved its gentle scrub and minty scent.  Would perhaps purchase.

The London Oil Company Morning Glory Body Oil 50ml - simply love this lemongrass scented body oil - a great wake up in the morning.  See my reviews here and here.  Will definitely repurchase once I use up some of my stash!

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist 15ml - adore this rose scented toner.  See my review here.  I'll definitely buy it again.

The Little Skincare Shop English Rose Floral Water 60ml - this was lovely to use and I'll maybe re-purchase in future once I use up my current stash.

Caudalie Premier Cru The Cream 15ml - this came in a Latest in Beauty duo. Absolutely loved it but doubt I'll be purchasing it as it costs round about £83.

Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum 2.5ml - nice to use - it came in a mini set I reviewed here.  Unlikely to buy it full size as it's quite expensive.

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain mini - this came in a Joliebox - simply loved it. Changes shade depending on your mood - mainly this is pink on my lips but it has been dark pink and a reddish shade too! Luckily I have another mini to use. I'll definitely buy full size soon.

Natural Wisdom Rosehip & Pomegranate Facial Cream Cleanser 100ml - I chose the Rose Floral Essential Oil Blend - a simply gorgeous cleanser and one I'll definitely buy again when my stash lowers a bit.  Featured in shopping my stash in week 6.

MOSSGROVE Deodorant for women 70ml - one of my favourite natural deodorants.  Will definitely buy again.

Saaf Pure Face Cleanser sample - see my review here. I'll maybe buy full size when I use up other cleansers in my stash.

Madara Refreshing Soap 250ml - this came in an Amarya box. I simply loved it.  See my review here.  I've already re-purchased this.

REN Photoactive Sun Veil SPF15 3ml - I liked this, it was easy to blend into the skin. I'd maybe buy full size.

Bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil 5ml - simply love this lightly scented face oil which makes my skin radiant and renewed and is perfect for the summer months.  Have since bought full size.

December Empties

Here are my December Empties.

L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream 15ml - love this lightweight cream although I've found it to be more suited to spring/summer months due to its lightness.  Would definitely buy again.  The scent even grew on me!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment for Neck & Bust 15ml - this was a GWP freebie.  Lovely product although quite expensive full size.

Bodhi Mint Thé Refreshing Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - love this! Will definitely purchase full size at some point.  You can see my review here.

Bodhi Ylang Ylang Incensa Sensual Body Moisturiser 40ml - gorgeous! My review is here.

Sanctuary Spa Hand Wash 250ml - picked this up a few times. Nice scent. Would buy again although I am using NEOM's Complete Bliss hand wash at the moment and it is gorgeous!

Paul Mitchell Color Protect Daily Shampoo 100ml - I always seem to go through shampoo way before I finish the conditioner.  I reviewed this product here.

Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator SPF8 15ml - this was a WIMH freebie.  I loved this geranium scented rich face cream.  One I'll definitely purchase at some point.

Bodhi Jasmine Falls Relaxing Bath & Shower Therapy 50ml - gorgeous! See my review here.

Nivea Q10 Firming Body Oil 200ml - a nice product although I didn't really see any firming action.  I'd maybe buy again #4 in my mini project pan.  See here.

Weleda Pomegranate Body Lotion 4ml sachet - this came in November's Amarya box.  Loved it.  One I'm definitely adding to my wish list.  Loved the fruity scent and light texture.

Caudalie Vinosource Mattifying Moisturiser 1ml - nice but too small a sample to really test it.

NEOM Complete Bliss Bath Oil 5ml - this came in December's Amarya box.  Already love these gorgeous bath oils.  You can see my review here.

Avon Advanced Techniques Shampoo & Leave in Conditioner sachets - okay products but didn't really like the scent.

Noble Isle Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel 30ml - one of my favourite shower products of the year.  Have bought this full size.

Philosophy Eye Hope Eye Cream 2ml sachet - nice product got a few uses from it.  Unsure if I'd  buy full size.

Simple Cleansing Wipes mini pack - handy after night's out and like to use wipes sometimes.  Will probably pick these up again.  Gentle on the skin.

NEOM Complete Bliss Organic Hand Cream 50ml - absolutely adore this hand cream - the best I've used.  You can see my review here.  I recently bought another.

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Shampoo & Conditioner for Fine Hair

I got Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Shampoo in my first Latest in Beauty Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible Box (I loved it so much I bought another!)  In my second box I received the matching conditioner.

The products are absolutely fantastic!  I love that there is no animal testing involved in their production and that they are free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, petrochemicals and synthetic fragrances and polymers.  They are scented with mandarin and contain Yuzu oil to add shine and vitality.

I've found that my highlights are brighter and my hair feel great - clean, shiny, healthy and moisturised.  I also like that the shampoo produces a good lather even thought it is a more natural product.

The shampoo retails at £22 for 300ml (100ml in the Latest in Beauty box).  It is a clarifying shampoo with mild cleansing agents which helps maintain colour for longer.  The conditioner retails at £24 for 300ml (100ml in LIB box).  It is a light but rich conditioner which hydrates the hair.  It leaves hair full of body (after blow drying), smooth and shiny.

Any greenhouse gases that are produced in the manufacture of the products are off set by investment in the Carbon Neutral Company.  The products are made with naturally derived ingredients such as essential oils, natural extracts and vegetable derived moisturising and conditioning ingredients.

Sleepover Essentials

On Saturday we went to visit my folks and stay over.  Here's the beauty products I took with me.

My new favourite body care line - Abahna - you can read my haul post here and see my monthly favourites post here.  I'm currently loving these luxury skincare products.  I'll definitely be repurchasing the Frangipani & Orange Blossom Bath & Shower Gel and Body Lotion (also fancying the bath oil, hand cream and candle!)

Melvita Fresh Micellar Water 35ml - received this one as a Latest in Beauty Luxury Sample - really nice for nights you can't be bothered with a full cleanse.  Smells nice too.  Currently available for £3 on the Latest in Beauty site.

Natural Wisdom Rose & Pomegranate Anti-Oxidant Hydrating Toner 50ml - absolutely adore this beautiful toner.  You can read my review here.

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Shampoo & Conditioner for fine hair.  These feature in my October Favourites.  My current favourite shampoo and conditioner.  Full review to follow.

Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash 50ml - this was a Glamour magazine freebie.  Love this - scented with grapefruit, petigrain, ylang ylang and frankincense essential oils - really uplifting in my morning shower.  One of my favourite Balance Me products.

Elemis Pro-Intense Eye & Lip Contour Cream 15ml - just started using this again. A nice product also like to use it on lip contour.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment for Face and Neck 15ml - another lovely product which I tend to pick up in gifts with purchase.

Moroccanoil Treatment 10ml - a handy size for travelling.  Love the Moroccanoil range.

Temple Spa Skin Truffle 15ml - absolutely adore this cream I got in my recent Latest in Beauty Anti-Ageing Box - an amazing cream.  Review to follow.

Likewise, review to follow on LP Skin Therapy Overnight Replenish Cream 15ml which also came in the Latest in Beauty box.  A really lovely cream - keen to look into other products in the range.

MossGrove Natural Deodorant for women - this deodorant contains no chemical nasties and is scented with jasmine - gorgeous!

We went for lunch again to House for an Art Lover Cafe and I had this delicious pudding - double chocolate puff pastry stack with passionfruit granita and coconut marshmallows - it was amazing!

Latest in Beauty - the Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible Box

My Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible box arrived on Monday - its super-fabulous!  Costing £19.95 plus £2.95 P&P (worth over £90).

I am excited to try Temple Spa Skin Truffle 15ml a Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible award winner.  I tried it on the back of my hand and it made my skin feel so soft and radiant.  Ingredients include diamond powder, black truffles, gold and silk, champagne, strawberries and cocoa butter - it sounds good enough to eat!  Can be used in the morning and at night.  (I've used it the last couple of days and I'm in love!)

Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser 30ml - I have used this cleanser before several times, smells good and great at removing eye make up and general everyday grime.  One for my travel bag I think.

Inika Mineral Lip Liner in Nude Delight - a full size product and a nice shade.  Happy to use this and was just needing a natural toned lip pencil.

Louise Galvin Sacred Locks Shampoo 100ml - was happy to get a product suitable to my hair type - for fine hair and colour treated hair.  Smells nice too.

Thalgo thalgomince Thalgo Cream 5ml sachet - will try but such a small sachet it won't go far.

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate 2ml vial - another product I've used before and happy to use again.

LP Skin Therapy Overnight Replenish Cream 15ml - have heard of the brand but not tried anything.  So happy to try.

Lulu Time Bomb Trouble Shooter, Neck, Jaw & Chest Cream 15ml - always on the lookout for a good neck cream.  My current favourite is Clarins Extra-Firming Neck Cream.

Balance Me Supermoisturising Hand Cream 30ml - tried this recently for the first time.  A fab hand cream.

Caudalie Vinexpert Eye & Lip Serum - this 1.5ml sample is a bonus item.  Again, happy to use as love Caudalie products.

Also included are leaflets and money off coupons.  A great value box - I love that I'll use everything.  Did you buy it?
