Shopping my Stash #46

Here's what I've been reaching for lately -

Korres Watermelon Body Scrub 150ml - smells of watermelon with bamboo and jojoba beads to exfoliate. A really lovely scrubby scrub which is fruity and refreshing.

Jurlique Jasmine Body Cream 50ml - a rich cream which supermoisturises the skin and leaves is smelling lightly of jasmine.

Shay & Blue Atropa Belladona 30ml - I simply love this beautiful scent.  See my review here.

Opale Pearl of Opale Oil 30ml* - I've been sent this oil to review and so far my skin is loving it! With essential oils of Rosewood and Bourbon Geranium it smells simply gorgeous.  A full review will follow shortly. I tried Opale's Lumiere d'Opale (a beautiful shimmering oil) last summer - see my review here.

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain mini - love this natural looking lip stain.  The colour it is on your lips depends on your body chemistry. It's normally a light pink shade but has also been deep pink too. Super moisturising. I wear this most days.

Trilogy Everything Balm 5ml - I love using this aromatic balm on dry patches, lips and cuticles.

A Closer Look: Toners & Treatments

I know some people don't believe in toners but I like them to refresh the skin after cleansing or spritz my skin on a hot day.

Time Bomb Complexion Cocktail with a shot of B12 100ml* - not a toner as such but a product which re-boots dull skin leaving it plumped and healthy. This is a fabulous product. See my review here.

111 Skin Ground Control NAC Y2 Anti-Acne Tonic 130ml* - if I feel like I'm breaking out I'll use this as it helps to cleanse and tone skin prone to breakouts.  See my review here.

Opale Toning Mist 200ml* - a light mist scented with Damask Rose and Raspberry Extract.  It tones, refreshes and soothes the skin. I've recently been sent this to try so expect a full review soon - it's gorgeous!

G Baldwin & Co Pomegranate, Bilberry and Rose Revitalising Tonic 150ml* - a light and refreshing toner.  See my review here.

Madara Deep Balance Toner for Normal-Combination Skin 200ml - a gentle toner which regulates oil and minimises pores while soothing drier areas.

Organic Surge Orange Flower Toner 200ml* is a natural toner which blends Orange Flower Water, Aloe Vera and Centella asiatica extracts.

Light and refreshing it freshens the skin and removes the remains of any cleanser.  Use after cleansing or throughout the day if your skin needs a boost.

It is 98.89% natural and contains no alcohol or chemicals.  Suitable also for vegans and vegetarians.

Apply to a cotton pad and sweep over the skin (avoiding eyes/lips).

This is really lovely to use, it smells gorgeous and leaves the skin clean and fresh (it would be nice kept in the fridge to use on summer days). You can enter my competition to win 1 of 5 - see my post here. The competition ends on Friday and is UK only.

a beautiful world - online beauty boutique

a beautiful world. was founded by Liz McCarthy on 1 May 2013.  An online beauty boutique which sells hard to find beauty products.  They are all high end, organic and natural brands - some of which are exclusives. The most exciting thing - most are brands I've never heard of!

Liz's first job was as a beauty consultant for No.7 and after graduating from University she spent 16 years working in International Beauty Marketing before starting her own Advertising Agency - which among others dealt with famous campaigns such as Simple Skincare.  In 2011 she was listed in Management Today's 35 under 35 which celebrates high achieving women in business.

In 2012 Liz closed her agency and set up a beautiful world. which was a lifelong dream.  Liz and her team have scoured the globe looking for interesting and new brands to bring to the UK market.

There is a beauty box which is available twice a year (the summer one sold out very quickly).  See Ria's review here.  I've signed up to be one of the first to hear about the autumn/winter sampler.

I have been sent some gorgeous products to review - and all from brands I've never heard of!

Opale Lumiere d'Opale* (£29 - 50ml) - this hails from Monaco and is a huge hit on the Cote d'Azure.  A glorious shimmering oil which enhances a suntan and eliminates dead skin cells while activating the production of new ones.  Made with 100% natural ingredients it contains Macadamia Nut oil, Sesame oil, natural AHAs and is scented with citrus oils of lemon and lime - it smells simply gorgeous!  It also helps prolong your suntan as well as moisturising the skin.  Get more information here.

Soleil Organique Sunblock Mist SPF45* (£24 - 120ml) - a high performance organic sun protection which works.  A water resistant light spray which is easily absorbed into the skin leaving it protected and moisturised.  The purest ingredients are combined with advanced skincare technology.  It protects and cares for the skin.  Non-greasy, a light lotion which is suitable for the face and body.  It contains no chemicals and is suitable for sensitive skin.  It contains non penetrative mineral filter, red algae, Vitamin E & C, Ester and Bisabolol which protect against UVA and UVB rays. A Certified Organic product which contains no parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, propylene glycol, sulphates, animal ingredients or synthetic colours and fragrances.  A full review to follow when I've tested it out.  Read more about the brand here.

Chocolate Sun Cocoa Lite Enhancer sample size* - this product comes from Santa Monica, LA and is an all natural organic fake tan.  It is packed full of Aloe, Coconut Oil, Shea butter, Sweet Almond Oil which moisturises the skin. Beets give the light sunkissed colour.  It also contains antioxidants from green tea and cocoa bean extracts which help perfect a light tan.  Suitable for fair to medium skin tones.  Takes 5 hours to develop and should be used every day to build up a lightly bronzed look.  Looking forward to trying this!  See more here.

Naisture Collagen Mask Pack* (single use) - I simply adore paper masks. This come from Korea and is drenched in collagen which moisturises and firm your skin.  Apply the mask to the skin and leave on for 15 minutes and then remove, massaging any residue into the skin. Again looking forward to trying!  See more info here.

Get 20% off all orders until 31 July 2013 using code 'BALM20'
