Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box: February: Love Yourself

So much excitement in my house when my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box lands! February's theme is "Love Yourself" and is packed full of wonderful things. Isn't it gorgeous. Founder, Paula carefully curates each box with love and care (it's my favourite beauty box and such a treat each month).

There is one totally new to me brand this month and four brands I've tried before. There are three new to me products and one product I've tried a sample of.

And now for a closer look...

From Inner Senses there is a bespoke Limited Edition Sensual Body Oil 50ml which has been created especially for Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box (how nice is that!) It has notes of Ylang Ylang, Clary Sage and Patchouli. I'm looking forward to trying this! I'm a huge fan of their gorgeous Rose Precious Face Oil* (see my review HERE).

From new to me brand, Seed of Life Holistic Health is their Eternal Rose Bathing Salts 100g (worth £3) which are a luxurious blend of Epsom and Himalayan Pink Salts and essential oils of rosa damascena, neroli, grapefruit, bergamot, palmarosa and frankincense. Can't wait to have a soak.

Exciting to see a Make Skincare product nestling inside! I'm a huge fan of the brand having reviewed their Face, Hands & Feet Skincare Set II* and Lip Revive* (HERE) and their Face Glow* (HERE).

I'm looking forward to trying their Face Refresh Floral Mist & Toner (100ml - £10) which can be used as a toner or to spritz and refresh the skin. It smells beautiful. A review will follow.

From Juno Skincare is their Illume Lip Glaze (full size - £16.50) which I've previously tried a sample of. You can see my mini review HERE.

The final item is from Guiltless Skin - Rosehip Cleansing Gel (50ml - £12). I recently tried a trio from the brand* (REVIEW) which I enjoyed so I'm looking forward to trying out this cleansing gel.

As ever, there are generous discount code from the brands. Be quick and sign up if you want March's BOX.

There are a couple of days left to enter my GIVEAWAY to win your very own now sold out box - UK only!

October Empties

Here's what I've been using up in October (I don't have much as I chucked all the samples and trial sizes I used up in London rather than bringing them home!)

Esse Probiotic Gel Cleanser 10ml* - I simply love this cleanser. See my review HERE. I took this to London earlier in the month and it was more than enough for a few days break. Huge fan of the brand. I definitely want to try more products from the range.

MOA Fortifying Green Bath Potion Shot 10ml - absolutely love this bath treat. See my review HERE. Will definitely re-purchase.

Schmidt's Rose+Vanilla and Bergamot+Lime Natural Deodorants - I love this brand. Bergamot+Lime is my favourite scent. I wouldn't pick up the Rose one again as although nice I didn't love it.  Just opened a new B+L one.

Dr Bronner's Peppermint 18-in-1 Pure Castile Magic Soap 236ml - this is a staple for me in this scent. I use it to clean my make up brushes and sometimes the bath! I've just picked up a new one.

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet SPF15 - 30 Beige - I love this foundation and I'll buy it again. It gives good coverage and I find it suitable for my combination skin.

MAKE Skincare Face Glow 30ml** - which was beautiful. See my review HERE. I'd consider buying when my stash reduces a bit.

Dafna's Personal Skincare Recovery Cleanser 50ml** - I simply loved this beautiful cleanser. See my review HERE. I'll definitely buy when my cleanser stash reduces a bit.

Molton Brown Coco & Sandalwood Body Wash 300ml - this is one of my favourite Molton Brown scents. Sure to buy again at some point.

Isla Apothecary Neroli Body Oil 100ml* - this body oil is divine! It has a beautiful scent and deeply nourishes the skin - what's not to love! See my review HERE. I'm sure to buy this again as I just love it! I do however have a mini one to use which came in the Discovery Set which I mentioned HERE.

My final item this month is a Reed Diffuser* from The Handmade Soap Company. I loved the scent - Lemongrass & Cedarwood and found it lasted round about three months. Would buy for sure. You can also buy refills. See my review HERE

MAKE Skincare Skincare: Face Glow

I've been testing out MAKE Skincare's best selling luxe Face Glow (30ml - £22)* which is gorgeous. It's made with a skin loving blend of Moringa, Rosehip and Vitamin E and scented with Rose Otto, Geranium, Lavender and Sandalwood Essential Oils.

Each ingredient is chosen with care to nourish, moisturise and heal. Moringa Oil gives the skin a glow as well as being deeply moisturising, Rosehip Oil is full of Vitamins A, C, E and D and Essential Fatty Acids which help to protect, heal and rejuvenate while natural Vitamin E protects from free radical damage. The blend also contains flower extracts, Evening Primrose oil and Chamomile.

Face Glow is suitable for all skin types including sensitive and is packaged in a pink pump action bottle.

To use: apply AM or PM alone or under your face cream.

I've been loving using Face Glow. It's a real treat for the skin and senses and is a joy to use. See my review of some of the other products in the range HERE. Have you used any products by MAKE Skincare?

Shopping my Stash #88

These are the products I've been reaching for this week:

ROHR Remedy Desert Lime Body Lotion - this beautiful lotion from Australia is just gorgeous and is the perfect late spring and summertime treat. See my review HERE and buy yours at LT Linens HERE.

I'm a huge Madara fan and this duo - Time Miracle Cellular Repair Serum and Total Renew Night Cream are just fab. They firm and regenerate the skin. Pick yours up at Love Lula.

The Jo Malone Grapefruit Cologne mini is the ideal size to pop in my handbag. I love it's zesty notes.

Daisy & Mallow Jasmine & Chamomile Facial Nectar 50ml - is a delight. It deeply but gently cleanses the skin ridding it of make up and daily grime. Pick yours up HERE.

Make Skincare's Lip Revive* is a real treat for the lips (I've also used it on fly-aways). See my review HERE.

I just love Antonia Burrell's incredibly good Bright+Light Eye Cream*. See my review HERE.

April Empties

Here's what I've been using up this month (I think this is the smallest amount of empties ever!) I'm not going to use up any more so here goes..

Evolve Organic Beauty Citrus Blend Aromatic Wash 60ml - I loved this uplifting wash in my morning shower. Would buy full size.

Make Skincare Hands Replenish Pink Grapefruit Cream 15ml* - a beautiful hand cream which I just loved. See my review HERE. Full size is firmly on the to-buy list.

Evolve Organic Beauty African Wash sample size - Again, this was gorgeous and I'd buy full size. I love when you order directly from Evolve you can chose 3 sample sizes with each order.

Daisy & Mallow Nourishing Winter Body Oil 50ml - lovely to use and I'd buy again next winter - it's currently still on sale though. It has a base of sesame, coconut and rosehip and is scented with Grandiflorium jasmine, cardamon, clove bud, vanilla and sandalwood. I've now got my eye on the oil for Spring.

Optiat The Hungover Coffee Scrub Potent Peppermint 90g - I loved this uplifting and awakening scrub which had an intense coffee/mint scent. Perfect scrubbiness and have since bought another. See my review HERE.

Carina Organics Pink Grapefruit Hand Soap 360ml* - this was a great hand soap which smells of zesty pink grapefruit. See my review HERE. Will definitely buy at some point.

Resultime Hydrating Cream 15ml - I've really enjoyed this cream, so much so that I picked up another one recently. It has a fresh scent, absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling deeply nourished. Huge fan.

Sachet samples (I'm trying to use these more often along with perfume vials):

pai Head to Toe Buriti Balm 2ml - this seemed nice but it was such a teeny sample so only got one use.

AA Skincare Ylang Ylang, Argan & Rosemary Conditioning Shampoo 8ml - nice to use. Got two uses out of these sachets. AA Skincare Amla & Clary Sage Rejuvenating Shampoo 8ml, again nice to use. This one was my favourite. I recently reviewed the matching conditioners (link).

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Serum 2ml - this seemed nice enough but again, quite small sachet.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream 2ml - a nice cream which absorbed quickly but I probably wouldn't buy.

Chantecaille BioLifting Neck Cream 2ml - I absolutely loved this. The gel textured cream absorbed instantly and it felt like an expensive product (on looking full size costs £152!) Nice to try but way out of my price range (I did however get 3 uses from the sachet).

Aesop Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque 1.5ml - this was great on my shiny t-zone. Would buy full size.

Shopping my Stash #87

Here's what I've been reaching for this week:

From Botanical Brands Living Nature's gorgeous latest launch Bliss Rose Tinted Lip Hydrator** which is a "my lips but better" kind of shade. It deeply nourishes and leaves the lips with a pop of natural colour. Love!

I received the new Hurraw! Papaya Pineapple Lip Balm* in March's Love Lula Beauty Box. It's a totally tropical treat which nourishes and treats the lips.  I love lip balms and this one's a welcome addition to my stash.

I can't live without Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion which keeps my eyeshadow on all day long. It'll be one I'll definitely be replenishing although this little tube has lasted ages.

Make Skincare has been one of my favourite recent tries. All their products are just totally exquisite. I reviewed Feet Revive** HERE. It's one of these must try brands as the scents and formulations are just dreamy.

I'm such a fan of the glorious Shay & Blue and I just love Blueberry Musk which I received from hubby at Christmas (after dropping a few unsubtle hints I must add haha). It's a beauty. It featured on Wishlist #2 in November. Just the other day their latest launch landed on my doorstep via Amazon birthday vouchers. And it's gorgeous!

On the wishlist (a long time) were Alexis Smart Healing Flower Remedies. When I spotted Naturisimo were stocking them I was absolutely over the moon! I'm currently trying Peaceful Worrier. It's early days so I've not really felt as if they are working for me yet - but I'll keep you posted!

Aromatherapy Associates Support Equilibrium and Deep Relax Bath & Shower oils - again, love both of these. Will buy again.

Therapie Himalyan Detox Salts 500g - a staple - these are always in my stash. I'll be stocking up when Cult Beauty offer their goody bag with purchase next month.

Make Skincare Face Smooth 15ml* - I recently reviewed this fab moisturiser (link). I'll definitely buy when I use up some of my stash.

Isla Apothecary Blood Orange & Vanilla Sugar Scrub 220g - this scrub had the perfect scrubbiness and the scent is amazing. One I'll definitely buy next time I need a scrub. See my initial thoughts HERE.

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo 50ml - loved this and will buy full size soon.

Cowshed Knackered Cow Shampoo & Conditioner 10ml sachets - I got two uses from each of these. Very nice. Added to the wishlist.

Redken High Rise Volume Shampoo & Conditioner 5ml sachets - nice to use but not really sure they improved volume.

Neom Daily De-Stress Burst Capsule - these are amazing! I wish they sold them in a full size jar!

MAKE Skincare

I've been testing out some products* from MAKE Skincare. Make Skincare was founded by Mary Temperley who creates all the exquisite products by hand in a converted barn in Somerset.  They are made with natural active ingredients - exotic oils, vitamins and plant extracts along with the purest essential oils and floral absolutes.

Packaging is an absolute joy (and made my heart sing!). Delivery is free on orders over £75 and £2.75 for orders under £75.  You can also add a gift box for an extra £2 (this comes free if you order 2 products or more). If you go for this option you'll find your products nestled in a black magnetic box with shredded tissue and rose petals (it's the little things..)

Mary sent me MAKE Face, Hands & Feet Gift Set II (£17.50)* and MAKE Lip Revive Lime, Lemon & Lavender Lip Balm (£4.75)*

Inside the gift set are minis (15ml) of Hands Replenish Pink Grapefruit Hand Cream, Face Smooth Intense Moistuiser with Hyaluronic Acid and Linden Blossom and Feet Revive Lime, Lemon and Lavender Foot Cream which are the perfect try me size, gift or for travel.

The products are truly gorgeous and a real treat for the skin and senses. My winter skin just lapped up the Face Smooth (which I'll be buying soon!) This day time moisturiser has a mousse like texture which melts onto the skin. It contains naturally active ingredients, Hyaluronic acid which plumps and moisturises, Linden Blossom helps to de-stress and tone. Other ingredients include Vitamins A, C and E, Apricot, Kiwi Seed and Macadamia oils along with Aloe Vera. The moisturiser has a honey floral scent.

Hands Replenish deeply nourishes the hands and nails. It's made with Jojoba and Avocado oils, Beeswax and Antioxidants and it contains Pink Grapefruit, Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Rose Otto essential oils giving the cream a fruity floral scent.

Feet Revive is scented with Lime, Lemon and Lavender essential oils which are antiseptic and refreshing. Other ingredients include Avocado and Apricot Kernel Oils and Beeswax. The feet are left soft, smooth, moisturised and smelling sweetly.

Lip Revive is a newish launch and smells good enough to eat! Made with a blend of Lime, Lemon and Lavender essential oils, Jojoba oil, Vitamin E and Beeswax. The balm deeply nourishes and softens the lips and I've been reaching for it several times a day (I'm also a sucker for the pretty packaging).

As you'll know I try a lot of products but I just can't get enough of these gorgeous skin loving treats. I just love everything about them - effective, beautiful, fragrant, natural and such a treat for the skin - I just can't wait to try more from the range.

Have you used anything from MAKE Skincare before? If so, what's your favourite products?

January: Lately I've been Loving

Seems a while since I've done a Lately post. Here's what I've been loving in January:

I received this Votary Rose Maroc & Sandalwood Facial Oil which retails at £65 in my Liberty Advent Calendar. It's my favourite thing from the calendar. Expect a full review soon.

We started off on a dry January but after 7 days just had to have a taste of January's Gin from the Craft Gin Club. Remember you can get a tenner off your first box with code BEAUTYBALM. Both the gin and tonic are great.

I was feeling the January blues and after a tough week at work my mum and dad sent me flowers from our local shop - they are simply stunning and a great cheer me up!

I've been testing out some gorgeous products* from Make Skincare which are amazing. Expect a review shortly. Look at that packaging! Simply stunning.

I read the fantastic Mary's the Name by debut author Ross Sayers which is published today. It's a heartwarming read and I highly recommend! I'm taking part in the blog tour (my 1st! on 6 February).

This Rosewater Mist from Red Ruby Rouge is just fantastic! Aster & Bay have relocated from the States to Edinburgh (link). Again, expect a review soon!

What have you been loving in January?
