*REVIEW: ION-Sei Electric Toothbrush

*productsample I was very kindly gifted an Award Winning Sanyei Lake Blue ION-Sei Patented Electric Toothbrush (£129.99) for review and I've been trying it out the last couple of months. It featured in my Christmas Gift Guide in November. It's available to buy online and at John Bell & Croyden, in London.

The ION-Sei toothbrush uses ionic patented technology which as well as removing plaque and bacteria it also suppresses the bacteria causing plaque too. It uses an Ultra Violet (UV) LED light which reacts with a Titanium Dioxide bar in the brush handle which creates ions which in turn suppress the bacteria which causes plaque. The negative electrons are sent to your mouth via water or saliva and works with your body's natural electrical charge through the conductor on the handle.

The brush gives 31,000 strokes/min sonic vibrations for a deep clean while still feeling soft on the teeth and gums (Standard (24,000) and Sensitive (18,000). Two brush heads are shipped with the product - soft and standard. You can also use the toothbrush with water only, with no need to use toothpaste if required.  Teeth are nearly immediately improved - there's less plaque and the surface of the teeth feels smoother. The re-charge base is easy to use and comes with two different plugs - UK and EU. Charge for 10 hours - this will give you at least 40 cleans.

I've been really impressed with how well the toothbrush functions, how easy it is to use and how it cares for both my teeth and gums. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a new electric toothbrush. Pick yours up HERE or HERE.
