I adore BYBI Beauty's Babe Balm and have been intrigued by the boosters so a couple of months back picked up their CBD Booster 100mg CBD + Hemp Oil (15ml) £12 and Bakuchiol Booster 1% Bakuchiol + Olive Squalane (15ml) £12.00).
I love the cute coloured packaging which is recyclable. The cannabidiol booster de-stresses, calms, decongests and reduces redness - it's great for blemish prone skin - skin is left feeling soothed, balanced and relaxed.
Formulated with 100mg cannabidiol (CBD) booster in hemp oil. The oil absorbs instantly and leaves the skin feeling comfortable, nourished and soft.
To use: can be used every day, or a couple of times a week or mixed into serum, moisturiser or balm.
My skin's been loving it, I've found it especially good when my skin has been feeling out of sorts.
Bakuchiol has been getting a lot of press recently as it's 100% natural alternative to retinol (which can be too much for some skins). This little beauty formulated using 1% Bakuchiol in an olive squalane base and is "a powerful yet gentle game-changer".
It plumps out lines and wrinkles, rejuvenates and improves the skin's texture. It'll also improve collagen production and skin texture (with none of the negative effects of retinol - dry/flakey skin or irritation).
To use: PM - add to your moisturiser or serum or apply directly to the skin. It's recommended to use SPF the following day, even though Bakuchiol doesn't increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight (like retinol) as it's best for your skin anyway!
I've never really dabbled much with retinol so am delighted to find an alternative which works just as well.
I've now got Strawberry Booster in my stash via Content Beauty & Wellbeing's fabulous Vegan Starter Set for #veganuary (which is currently out of stock!) So expect a review soon!
What's your favourite Booster(s)?
