Melt Sample Selection: An introduction to Melt

Discovering online that Melt offer a very welcome sampling selection service! You are allowed to choose five individually enveloped slithers of wax (£5) to enable you to sniff your chosen scents prior to going onto buy a candle! You can use them in a melt burner for a short period to enable you to decide if it's a scent you like or not but they're not a stand alone product, although a neat idea! I've been lucky enough to visit the lovely shop on Twitter Lane too - see my post HERE.

My absolute favourite so far from the selection I chose is EDEN - which is cut grass and creamy fig along with spices, woods and herbs. It has a lush freshness with a distinctive fig note. LOVE!

SHINE is citrus with woody floral, rich amber and musks. It's uplifting and refreshing and inspires happiness.

LAVENDER is Lavender balanced with Eucalyptus - soft but soothing from The Garden Collection.

NUTMEG & VETIVER is woody, spicy and warming with notes of Nutmeg, Vetiver, Orange, Jasmine, Amber, Guaiacwood, Cedar, Sandal, Gurjam, Clove and Patchouli and is gorgeous!

My final pick is AUBERGINE which is Mulled wine, Damson Gin and cinnamon with musks and spice. I think it would be perfect to burn late Autumn.

I've been enjoying sniffing and melting - I think it's a great way to try before you buy. Pick up your samples HERE.

  1. Oooh these sound lush. I think like you, Eden would be my favourite as I love the smell of grass. I think Aubergine would sound nice too as I like spicy aromas, especially when it is winter.
