Lixirskin: Universal Emulsion Moisturiser

I picked up Lixirskin's Universal Emulsion Moisturiser (20ml - £11) as a freebie with Harper's Bazaar Magazine recently - who doesn't love a freebie!

I love the fact that Universal Emulsion is multi-tasking - it's a Day Moisturiser, Night Cream and Serum Base in one (it also covers the eye contour, lips, neck, decollete, arms and hands) so it's the perfect product to pack if you're just taking hand luggage or are tight for space on your travels.

Founder, Colette Haydon spent many years as a formulator for other well known brands before creating her own less-is-more collection. She "used an unusual emulsification technique to obtain SPF10 without any added sunscreen - so ideal as an urban day cream and primer"

I'm not personally in love with the scent (it's similar to Vit C paste with rose & ylang ylang) but the product is good (and the scent doesn't linger) so I'll definitely be packing it for my next trip.

To use: warm in your palm before applying where needed. Lixirskin say "Massage until the skin feels sealed, you'll recognise the feeling".

What are your favourites from the range?
