*product samples Lisa, at Lime & Lilac very kindly sent me two of her products for me to try and review. I've got to say from the start these products are very special indeed and lovely to use.
As founder and formulator, Lisa struggled to find products suited to her skin and decided to create her own luxurious blends. She carefully selects the purest cold pressed carrier oils and essential oils, blending and formulating to create perfection! I've been very impressed with both the products Lisa sent me - there is also a body oil in the range. The products are handmade in small batches and presented in miron glass bottles with minimal packaging.
Passionflower Cleansing Oil (50ml - £18.50) takes cleansing to a whole new level! The oil/gel texture makes short work of make up (including mascara) and daily grime. Formulated with Passionflower Seed Oil which is a powerful antioxidant, Cucumber Seed Oil which hydrates and helps support the skin's elasticity. Vegetable Glycerine is a humectant which helps retain moisture in the skin while wonder Prickly Pear Seed Oil nourishes and fights ageing. Jojoba naturally emulsifies and Sucrose laurate mildly emulsifies. Castor Seed Oil helps the cleanser glide over the skin. Neroli (as well as smelling glorious, and one of my most fav scents ever) regenerates and improves elasticity while Green Mandarin uplifts and helps with congestion.
To use: shake before use and apply to dry skin, massaging for a moment or two. Add water to emulsify and massage some more, before removing with a warmed damp cloth.
The 100% Natural Light Face Oil comes in 3 sizes. Lisa sent me the 5ml travel size (£12.50). The face oil is a blend of moisturising Safflower Seed Oil, nourishing Watermelon Seed Oil, wonder Prickly Pear Seed Oil, soothing Passion Flower Seed Oil, antioxidant Hemp Seed Oil, reparative Argan Kernal Oil, uplifting and regenerative Neroli and anti-ageing Frankincense.
Each ingredient has been carefully selected to treat, soothes, hydrate, nourish and regenerate the skin.
To use: after cleansing apply 3 or so drops onto damp skin, gently massaging over the face, neck and decolletage either using alone or following it with serum/moisturiser.
I'm so impressed with both of these products - the scents glorious and my skin feels fantastic! Have you tried Lime & Lilac? If so, what are your favourites?
