*AD - Gifted product As a lover of perfume I was delighted to be approached by Scentful's founder who asked if I'd like to try and review October's Surprise Perfume Subscription box. Being a lover of perfume, I did of course jump at the chance! The company is a small start-up based in Bath, Somerset.
Each month you'll receive a letterbox friendly package containing a small branded box. Inside you'll find an information card about your two (2 x 5ml) designer perfumes for her or him are inside. Subscriptions start at £10.95 a month, see more information HERE.
Inside this month are two perfumes from well known perfume houses - Jimmy Choo (Fever) and Thierry Mugler's (Angel Muse). I'm a huge fan of the original Jimmy Choo and Angel, having bought loads of bottles over the years. The latest incarnations are totally new to me, which is a nice surprise!
I think the subscription is great value for money. The company work with a range of designer perfumes - all authentic and purchased from authorised distributors. There's enough perfume to last you at least 30 days (each vial gives around 80 sprays) making this the perfect monthly treat. Plus you may discover your new signature scent!
FEVER EdP by Jimmy Choo is a FLORAL GOURMAND with top notes of Black Plum, Lychee and Grapefruit, with a heart of Heliotrope, Vanilla Orchid and Jasmine. It's got base notes of Tonka Bean, Benzoin and Sandalwood. I'm absolutely loving this sweet floral (and it's one I'd definitely buy full size!). Perfect to take your from day into evening too.
ANGEL MUSE EdP by Thierry Mugler is a WOODY GOURMAND and has distinctive Angel notes with the unusual addition of a Hazelnut note. With top notes of Grapefruit and Pink Berries, a heart of Hazelnut Cream Cocoa and base notes of Vetiver and Patchouli. I'm pretty taken with this one too!
