Beauty Box on Ops

Elaine (Lainey Lulu) has established Forces Fundraising Events.  She is asking  people to send beauty treats to those deployed on operations in support of our country.  Make a box up for a girl (or a boy!)  You can see the facebook page here.

Elaine is working with the charity Afgan Heroes.  Send parcels (max 2kg) to:

Make sure you mark the outer packaging - MALE or FEMALE.

cereal bars, biscuits, chewing gum, sweets

  4. Great idea! I've sent a couple of boxes before which was Christmas boxes for Albanian orphans, that was years ago when a few people from where I live took a massive truck full of second hand stuff there every year. They did it during their civil war as well, which in my opinion was very brave. (I went on a family holiday to Corfu around that time and could hear the gun shots from the beach...) I think its a fab idea to send boxes to our forces too, everything is needful. My pal was out serving in Afghanistan (no longer touring) and he said he really looked forward to his parcels, as basics ran out so quick. Thanks for sharing! :)

  5. I am deffo going to make a box up, think I'll do a female one month then a male the next. I think regardless of what you think of what's happening in Afghanistan etc it's nice to do something do boost the troops' morale :) x
