Balance Me

Balance Me was founded in 2005 by two sister, Rebecca and Clare Hopkins who started the company from home after spotting a gap in the market for affordable, good quality and luxe aromatherapy bath and body products (and now skincare).

Sian Jones, a qualified aromatherapist joined the sisters early on and her knowledge of retail has been invaluable.  The range is available in John Lewis, Waitrose, QVC, Wholefoods, Latest in Beauty, Naturisimo and via their own website.

The Super Moisturising Hand Cream and Exfoliating Polish have both won Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible Awards.

The products are free from parabens, petroleum, sulphates, mineral oils, silicones, artificial fragrances and colours.

Products are available for face, body and hair and include gift sets and travel minis.

My current favourites are:

Pure Skin Face Wash (I got a trial size from Latest in Beauty from their luxury samples range).  It retails at £16 for 125ml.  It's got a lovely orange scent and leaves the skin feeling soft with no feelings of any tightness.  It's one I'd buy full size.

My other loves is the Rose Otto Range - smells delicious like Turkish Delight.  My current favourites are the lip balm (currently selling at £2.40 with a 70% discount.  You can see it here. (unsure how long this discount price is lasting for though). I also love the Body Wash.

I want to try the body cream and Body Balm.  Do you use any of the Balance Me range?

  1. Hi,
You know I love the Rose Otto wash :) The most recent Balance Me product I've tried is the face oil is it? People got them in a beauty box I think and I got sent it as a gift. I tried putting it on my puffy bags near my eyes hoping it was miracle cure and sadly nope! But do love the range. Great post Ax

    1. its just so fab :) Yes, I got the face oil in a beauty box - lovely product. You should try Elemis Absolute Eye Serum - absolutely the best eye product I've tried - its £26 I think but it lasts for ages x

    2. Hello,

Just wanted to say that the Radiance oil isn't the best thing for your eyes, Balance Me do an AMAZING wonder eye cream which helps reduce puffiness, lighten dark spots and smooth fine lines away. After a few late nights this is the must-have product!

  3. I love the body wash, it really does smell like turkish delight and the formula is just lovely! Have been using the lip salve too but on my cuticles before bed. I like the Super Moisturising Body Wash which is nice, but didn't really rate the matching hand cream much x

  5. The rejuvenating face oil is amaaazing, I find. My skin just felt well moisturised at the end of the day, and it became nice and dewy with the oil on under makeup. & I lovelovelove the super moisturising body wash which I try to use sparingly as its £12 a tube, but you really don't have to moisturise afterwards! Definitely my favourite brand of the moment!
