Love Lula Beauty Box - October 2013

My Love Lula Beauty Box arrived the other day.  You can see what's inside below -

I was initially a bit disappointed to see all the sachets - although I love Mendill - see my review of the Lavender Organic wipe here. Included in the box is a lemon wipe.

The full size item is Lavera Beauty Balm 6-in-1 Tinted Moisturiser (£17.90 - 30ml) - the box is £12.50 including P&P - making this a great value addition to the box. I've tried this and it seems like a good product with light coverage although it does seem quite a dark shade so wouldn't suit everyone. Suitable for all skin types.

The other samples are Santaverde Light Aloe Vera Cream 2ml (not a fan of this range) and Dr Hauschka Melissa Day Cream 1.5ml which I've used before and thought it was ok.

Did you get this box?  What are your thoughts?

  2. Have you tried the moisturiser yet? It's way too dark for me. Am hoping next month's will be better.

  3. I tried the BB cream and it is too dark for my pale winter skin and is quite strongly fragranced, having said that it was on my wish list so I was quite happy to receive it as the box cost less than what I would of paid, I still prefer my Souk Souk boxes Xx

  5. Hi, I was just searching Love Lula Oct 13 and found your site. I was really disappointed with my box this month. I haven't tried the Lavera Beauty Balm as the reviews I have seen have been mixed and my skin is so acne prone I'm scared to try something unless the reviews are pretty good. I just wondered if you could tell me why you aren't a fan of the Santaverde products? I have never heard of them before but I'm a big fan of aloe vera so had high hopes. Thanx

    1. There's probably nothing wrong with them I just don't find they suit my skin and I don't like the scent of them. They seem quite popular products/brand though. x

    2. I tried the santaverde moisturiser yesterday and I did find it left my skin very oily. I do have oily skin but this didn't help. Loving your site :-)
